The staff, the location, the facilities everything was wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again.

Giving me a camping spot up a gravel hill road when I’m riding a 1000 lbs motorcycles , is not a safe plan . This on top of the fact that there is no access to emergency services , because there is no cell service , no pay , no wifi ! Is undoubtedly a lawsuit I the waiting ! Despite these facts the facility is very very nice and well kept !

Great campground with lots of facilities! Bathroom and showers were super clean! Only drawback was that the highway was right next to the campground and there was a.lot.of.noise from.tbere all through the night. Overall, I'd definitely go back there again!

Amazing!! Clean, friendly, and Beautiful! If in the area I would highly recommend this camp ground. Scott was very helpful in setting us up, and showing us where all the fish were!! Thank you for making our hat creek visit memorable! See you soon!!

New bathrooms but no HOT water. Water main broke so no water to resort for a couple of hours. Tent site was constantly in the sun so unbearable we left a day early and lost our money. Seems really made for trailers and motorhomes not tents. Not recommending at this time. Shingletown next.

The staff was amazing ,super friendlyand helpful! Sites were clean and well kept.The only downside was that it was quite a trek to the washrooms from the far tent sites,and the wifi was spotty,the washrooms were spotless though!

This is the best KOA I have stayed in. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facility is very well kept. My friends and I will return again

The hot water didn’t work, the wi-fi only works near the office (barely) and they clean the bathrooms from 8-9 am which was very inconvenient for the schedule I was on. The sites were nice and I enjoyed the noise of the frogs in the pond.

We had an excellent stay! Kevin the host was very helpful, even providing us with a way to blow up our air mattress when we ran out of batteries. The restrooms were very clean, and the water was hot!

Anne & Dave were great employees! They were very friendly and welcoming and gave us great tips about the local area along with great conversation. Campsites are well shaded and the showers are great. Wish the Wi-Fi reached further but that is my only complaint everything else 10/10

Lovely place, well maintained, and spacious sites. Biggest downside is the traffic noise from highway. Our site was beside road and was woken up repeatedly through the night thinking I was about to be roadkill. We were in a tent, so this may not be a problem if in a trailer.

We stayed at 2 other KOA on this trip before Burney Falls. I did not have anything particular good to say about the previous locations. But the staff here was so incredibly nice and helpful. On top of that, the showers could have been at a resort. Let alone the property was just clean. We hope to make it back!

Great shower, best of any KOA I have stayed at. Whole bathroom was spotless. The manager called me that day to let me know the after hours protocol. Very thoughtful.

Awesome staff, clean and well maintained RV and tent sites and great amenities for kids! This place is centrally located to Burney Falls and Lassen and a short drive to fishing spots. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

The KOA itself was quite nice. The tent sites are unfortunately quite close to the road but it’s not a deal breaker. Adding a bathroom closer to the tent sites would be a major improvement. It would also be great if every tent site had water. The difference in price is very minimal so might as well just have water at each site.

Tent space #8. No water faucets anywhere for tents nearby. The space was very nice. Staff was helpful and polite. The store was closed on Sunday. It would have been nicer to have cell service.One big issue for me is the awkward big toilet that should have been more handicapped friendly. THE GRAB BAR WAS WAY ON THE OTHER WALL AND ONE BEHIND THE TOILET. THE SHOWERS WERE VERY NICE BUT VERY SLIPPERY.

No grass at tent sites, no water to all tent sites, dumpsters not located where the map states they are, bathroom cleaning at 8 am when most people are trying to use them, very dusty. Friendly staff.

The bathrooms were very nice, clean, spacious and always had hot water. The tent spots in back are very rocky and uneven so it made finding a spot for a larger tent a bit difficult. The locations of those sites were a bit confusing as well. But lovely staff and location! Would come back!

We were with a group of about 25 people and the only family in tents But I wish we were a little closer to our group and closer to a restroom or at least a port a potty, I did like that it was quiet at our campsite but the hike to the bathroom was a little unpleasant

Toilets were constantly clogged/overflowing with poop. No toilet paper majority of time. Used bandaids in shower stalls. No water at campsite. WiFi only available at general store, not as advertised. 100% do not recommend and will tell everyone I know-including CA camping group on Facebook.

We had am amazing time at this KOA. Our kids loved the playground, the petting zoo, and fishing in the pond. The hosts were friendly and the campground was clean. Would highly recommend staying here!

Not as many activities as most KOAs- really nothing to do at the campsite. Also, the fact that there is only one bathroom is not great. It was quite a walk from our tent site to the bathrooms. On the plus side, bathrooms were generally clean and the people working there were nice.

I have zero complaints about this place. People super friendly, clean camp, bathrooms amazing. Wish we hadn’t been rained out the first night and wish our site wasn’t right next to the highway. Will try again when we have better equipment.

the hosts and staff were friendly. everything looked well kept. enjoyed watching the trees as they moved with the winds as I ate my meals. I checked on the weather forecasts prior to coming so was prepared for inclement weather. the lightning and thunder put on some spectacular shows and only after dark so the daytime activities weren't affected which was a big plus for me. enjoyed stay

I arrived right before sunset, and by the time I set camp it was getting dark and wasn't able to explore much. The location is beautiful and easy to navigate. The restroom and showers are really nice and roomy, my only setback was the distance from my tent site. You don't want to wait till the last minute to use the restrooms. All in all I had a pleasant stay and a good nights sleep.

The staff was very friendly and the campsites were clean. The only complaints we have are the sites are way too close together and the site numbers are very disorganized. The camp is very close to the highway so you could hear highway sounds all night and the mosquitoes were not pleasant.

This is the standard all KOA's should shoot for. Very nice clean park with lots of pull-throughs and great back-in spots along the lake/pond. You are not on top of your neighbor and all the sites seemed to have fire pits. The bathrooms were the best I have seen in a KOA and they were clean. There are Kamp-K9's for your pet, play area for kids, and a great loop around the pond to walk and relax.
