We had a very nice campground people were very helpful getting us settled and with info . Would do again if we ever get a chance to go to that area . We have never really had any issues at most KOA . Thank you

Beautifully maintained campgrounds and the showers other outbuildings were spotless! The staff were very polite and friendly, and someone was always available to answer questions. The site’s are nice and large and spread out in a variety of configurations, we enjoyed every minute of our four day stay, thank you so much !

This was an unexpected surprise for a KOA campground. The space between vehicles was so roomy, and the grounds were so pretty. Beautiful trees, picturesque lake, play area, it was a great experience.

My spot was close to the highway, which had truck noise through the night. There was no cell service, and wi-fi was only available right up close or inside the office/store area. I didn’t need hookups or facilities, but was told to take a more expensive space because tent sites were not level for my 19” van. That did not appear to be true. Too expensive for just a place to park overnight

The weather was perfect and I love the proximity to Lassen National Park. There is some maintenance that would help boost the appeal of this park though. The dog parks and surrounding grounds could use a good weed whacking to knock down the foxtails which are a nasty pest to most pups.

We always have a great time. We come every year for my husband's happy birthday and our church family joins us one night for a potluck. Have an amazing time I love This campsite number 80 is our favorite. Thank you for being such a great host.We'll see you next year.

Staff was great. Wifi was not great. Bring your own toilet paper unless you like fighting to get ultra thin one ply off the roll. Bathrooms weren’t the cleanest. It was extremely hot during our stay and the mosquitos were terrible. Sites are very close together. Not what I was expecting with amenities for being a KOA Holiday but for the price it was just a ok stay.

Beautiful place but no cell or WiFi service. This camp ground is perfect for having no contact to the outside world. Grocery store about 20 miles away. Good distance to Burney Falls and Lassen Nat’l park.

Awesome KOA. Spots have some space between them. Lots of tall trees provide shade. Choice of whether want to be around the pond or away from it and if have a group there are good multi-site continuity circles. Full hookups good, restroom clean and very helpful/nice hosts. Great jump off to Lassen, Burney Falls, and farther north to Mt Shasta.

The stay was nice. Plenty of dog poop stations. The only bad thing to say is mosquitoes were bad!! We were in spot 62 away from lake and we were inundated with them. Stayed here before park became koa and never had such an infestation like this.

The staff was great. The location of his for Lassen NP and Burney Falls. The wifi did not extend to our site and the us not cell service for any provider. We had to make a daily walk up to the office for internet connection.The site was spacious as it was on the end, but it was all dirt and dusty. It looks like there used to be gravel, but that's long gone. The campground as a whole was very nice.

We were having issues with our motor home when we happened upon this KOA! The staff was so helpful, especially Scot, helping us get connected to their WiFi as we didn’t have a phone signal in the area. Once we contacted a mobile mechanic they found us a nice site where it would be easier for the mechanic to work on our rig. I’m not sure of the lady’s name at the office but she was so nice.

Every employee was incredibly nice and welcoming. The grounds were well maintained and laid out. The facilities were wonderful, best showers I've seen at any RV park yet. And the breakfast was surprisingly really good. I highly recommend this KOA if you're in the area. And it's a great location if you're going to the north entrance of Lassen National Park, a very easy 25.minute.drive.

The place was not taken care of at all. Weeds and pine cones through the camp site. I'm not sure what they were doing, but the ground between some of our families campsites looked like the ground had mud dumped between the site and the lake. We've been going for over 20 years for memorial weekend and this is first time we are not coming back.

This is one of the most beautiful parks that i've stayed at the pool is gorgeous with lots of wildlife and fish. I just wish. They would grade the bank a little bit better. It was a little rough and hard to walk on.

Beautiful campground, the lake is charming but needs more mosquito control, maybe add some mosquito fish to the pond/lake. They are very effective at mosquito control, they eat mosquito larvae. The showers are absolutely the best! The personnel is very people and dog friendly. Best to get a site closer to the office if you want wifi at your site.

Loved this campground! The staff was super friendly, and they kept the grounds clean and up to date. Their bathrooms have just been remodeled, and they did a great job! The pond and goats are charming and if you have a hankering for a home cooked meal, they do that too. They are in close proximity of Burney Falls and the town of Burney. I will definitely stay here again.

Great place! Very clean bathrooms and grounds. We stayed in site #1 which had a great view of the lake. The only downside was there were LOTS of mosquitos! They were out at all hours. The campground was very quiet which was great. It was a 30 minute drive to Burney Falls and Mt. Lassen National Park. I would definitely stay here again.

The camp staff were very friendly and welcoming. The campground is clean with lots to do for kids. It is easy to get into spots and trees are trimmed for taller rigs.

As a long time user of Koa , I am disappointed with this campground. The staff is A+, the grounds perfect, but the sites terrible. A back in site should not backup to another site. We made it work, but sheesh. Oh the wifi, terrible. Almost unusable. Wasn't expecting to stream, but to check emails, text or even calls. Not good. We heard the owner turned down an offer to have repeaters setup.

Only 1 bathroom/shower building, which is a big issue for mobility challenged people. Huge nice showers. WiFi weak or not at all. Cell phone service relies on WiFi. Friendly staff.

We completely enjoyed our one week stay at Burney Falls/Hat Creek KOA. The park is well maintained and shows the pride of the staff. From the escort to our site upon arrival, to assistance backing into our site, to information on local points of interest, to quick delivery of firewood, we couldn't have asked for more from the staff. To a person, they all have happy "can-do" attitudes.

The park is beautiful, well maintained. The sites are large and not too close to your neighbors. Jim in the office went out of his way to be friendly and explain the area and gave us advice what to see. We were in site 80 and loved it. Will definitely go back.

The campgrounds were beautiful and well kept. Almost all the people I met there were long time visitors and nothing but good things to say about the camp. I look forward to coming back later in the year and do some more fishing.

Staff was incredibly friendly, the bathrooms were clean and showers were huge and hot! Wifi worked great throughout the campground. Trash was picked up regularly and never built up or smelled, amenities were maintained well even on a busy Memorial Weekend. The kids loved riding their bikes and feeding the goats. Already booked our sites for next year!
