We were with a group of about 25 people and the only family in tents But I wish we were a little closer to our group and closer to a restroom or at least a port a potty, I did like that it was quiet at our campsite but the hike to the bathroom was a little unpleasant

Nice campground and well situated between major attractions. Downsides were road noise from the highway, camping spots very close together, and no pool or playground.

You have the potential to get a site within about 30'-50' from the highway. Its an okay campground but I don't understand a KOA that does not offer WIFI throughout the park. It felt like this was a popular place for locals. Lots of groups of people camping close together. If you're here to visit Mt Lassen, I would recommend the Mt Lassen KOA.

Toilets were constantly clogged/overflowing with poop. No toilet paper majority of time. Used bandaids in shower stalls. No water at campsite. WiFi only available at general store, not as advertised. 100% do not recommend and will tell everyone I know-including CA camping group on Facebook.

Spaces reletively level and spacious. bath/shower building well maintained. No pool. The best thing about the place is Maria's Cafe. Small menu, but the enchiladas and the Chile Rieno with beans and rice were the best I've ever had. Maria's 7" pies are outstanding. A huge negative is that it's only open Fri/Sat. They need to add a game room in the huge office/restaurant. NO PHONE service!!!

No internet or phone service except at the main building and that was slow. Management allowed dogs that continued to bark when the dog was outside. The campers did not care. However, the site was spacious and great tree cover. Good central location for what was in the area.

Loudest campground I have ever stayed in. I felt like a sardine packed in my spot. Did not even want to sit out by the fire due to my fire ring being so close to my neighbors. Tried to go for a walk to get away from the noise but got so eaten up by mosquitoes that I had to go back. Did not even have internet in my trailer to keep me occupied. I would rather sleep in my car at a rest stop.

We had am amazing time at this KOA. Our kids loved the playground, the petting zoo, and fishing in the pond. The hosts were friendly and the campground was clean. Would highly recommend staying here!

We have a group and add issues with our reservation, we reserved our sites last year, we have 7, you changed the way the reservation system works and was not informed, we had issues staying together, I did receive a confirmation on the sites we wanted and the week before was confirmed. When we arrived at the site, they had us in a different site, that we reserved. Your database should have lo

We picked this campground at random, but we will be back again and again! We loved watching the mama ducks and their ducklings swimming in and out of the reeds. The bathrooms are top notch, and the staff responsive and friendly. Couldn't ask for more!

One of the most beautiful KOA-s we have ever stayed in. The staff is great, the place is gorgeous - the only down was no cell service. Who cares, right? � we will come here again for sure!

It was a fantastic stay. We didn't get a pull thru like we wanted but love the spot we did get. The only thing we didn't like was no radio signal and WiFi didn't reach out to the camp sites. Employees also very friendly.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds that I’ve been to. The campsites are nice and roomy. The staff was amazing very helpful and friendly. They even make a awesome breakfast burrito.

Not as many activities as most KOAs- really nothing to do at the campsite. Also, the fact that there is only one bathroom is not great. It was quite a walk from our tent site to the bathrooms. On the plus side, bathrooms were generally clean and the people working there were nice.

Wifi for campground and water at tent sites are the only improvements I would recommend. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms and showers. A bit pricey for tent sites

Once again, we had an another enjoyable trip up in the Hat Creek area. Scott and Roberto were very helpful in getting us parked and up and running. The weather was pleasant and the KOA is always clean and beautiful. Our 2 dogs love it too!

I would give 5 stars but my reservation made a year ago was messed up. I was supposed to have 10 nights in my reserved spot and ended up with 6. Had to move mid trip. The staff was helpful getting my spot the last few days but I should have had it the entire time.

Our stay at the BFHA KOA was very nice and pleasant. The atmosphere was peaceful and tranquil. I would strongly recommend the installation of hand-held shower heads for those of us with limited mobility and arm reach. The staff is very pleasant and approachable.

1 night layover stay. Your rate is way too high; way out of line with any other RV Park where we've stayed. In addition, you have no amenities. We stayed at your park only because the state park was full & we needed a place to stay. We would never pay your ridiculous rate again.

I have zero complaints about this place. People super friendly, clean camp, bathrooms amazing. Wish we hadn’t been rained out the first night and wish our site wasn’t right next to the highway. Will try again when we have better equipment.

I want to give this campground 5 stars, but I can't. It's just not there yet. 3 is the best I can do. On the plus side, super friendly staff - fantastic to work with!!! Let us check in early, was helpful with guests and just nice people. I love that they escort to sites and they have more than 1 dog run!!! Patio site was not a patio, no WiFi, tent camper next door... see Google for rest.

Nice spot to set up fishing or deer camp. Staff were super friendly. Lots of RVs. Beautiful area near Hat Creek and Lassen National Park! The on-site store could be better stocked with sandwiches, and other pre-made foods for midweek when the restaurant is closed but overall a nice place!
