Very disappointed. Arrived to find out that our site was moved to another site, even though we booked 3 months in advance. We were traveling with another couple and they were not moved. So of course we were separated. Another thing is when we drove up and parked to register all I saw were travel trailers and motorhomes in complete sun....no shade!!!!! It was so hot you could fry an egg outside.

Very beautiful and convenient place to stay between LNP and Burney falls. Close to great fishing on the Hat Creek as well. Hopefully the wifi will get better soon with planned upgrades to the equipment.

Lovely, quiet, and close to things we wanted to go see. Staff was friendly and had good tips for visiting local sites. I do wish there were most restrooms spread out over the campground so we didn't have to walk quite as much (my parents both had recent minor leg injuries). Also, there were quite a few mosquitoes and we ended up with quite a few bites. Not much that can be done about that thou.

No grass at tent sites, no water to all tent sites, dumpsters not located where the map states they are, bathroom cleaning at 8 am when most people are trying to use them, very dusty. Friendly staff.

THE SERVICE WAS GREAT WE HAD AIR-CONDITIONER PROBLEMS AND THE STAFF TRIED THERE BEST TO HELP FIND A SOLUTION BUT IN THE END WE COULD NOT FIX IT AN WE HAD TO LEAVE EARLY. THEY REFUNDED THE UNUSED DAYS. VERY NICE PEPOLE TO DEAL WITH.

Stayed for 4 nights in July which was near 100 degrees each day. The cabin we stayed in had a great air conditioner, bathroom and kitchen. and located by the goats and sheep which were very entertaining and fun addition. The campground restrooms are very spacious and clean. Can't say enough about the Staff and management other than great. Drove 7 hours from Nothern Oregon and will do it again.

The folks were very accommodating. Either I had given the wrong date by 1 day or they had mixed them up. They couldn't give me the same space, but were able to come up with one that I wouldn't have to move. I have stayed here in the past before it became a KOA and service has defiantly taken an upturn. I would definitely stay here again.

Great area in between Burney Falls and Lassen National Park. No internet, but WIFI available up at the store. Bathroom/shower area really clean and nice.

Koa was clean, well maintained with friendly staff. Great location between Burney Falls and Mt. Lassen. Advertised as coming with cable. 0 reception. Only internet at office. No cell reception. No outgoing mail. Store is not well stocked.

2 nights. Cabin was clean and well furnished. Although new to the KOA system it is an older campground which in the future will require considerable ongoing care and maintenance. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

Site advertised internet service. However could not log onto internet from the camp site. Had to walk to within 50 feet of the office in order to get WiFi. Why RV parks like this will not invest a few hundred dollars in WiFi signal extenders to cover the entire park is beyond me. They need to advise potential customers that whatever WiFi they have is basically very limited and unusable.

It was an enjoyable visit. Sites met our expectations and was close to my hiking trails. The staff was friendly and helped when we needed to get propane. We would stay here again. My son loves the KOA resorts.

Quiet, well maintained campground. Spacing of RVs pretty good. I do wish fire pits more out in open instead of between trailers. Had a good breakfast at Maria's.

We truly loved this park! All the staff were friendly and helpful. We were assigned a site that was too small to accommodate our rig and pickup so the general manager was able to move us to a much better site which we really appreciated. The only improvement we could recommend is wi fi that reaches throughout the park. Since the cell service was poor it would be nice to use wi fi from your site.

I reserved a campsite in July 2022 for a week in July 2023. We were kicked out of our campsite because we were told of a new “locked in” rule. No one contacted us first to see if we wanted to lock in. Very bad management!! Bring back the old manager, Danny!! He was always happy, friendly and made sure we were all happy and no problems were going on. New management is definitely not as good!

The bathrooms were very nice, clean, spacious and always had hot water. The tent spots in back are very rocky and uneven so it made finding a spot for a larger tent a bit difficult. The locations of those sites were a bit confusing as well. But lovely staff and location! Would come back!

This is the fourth time that I have stayed at the hat Creek KOA. It appears that each time that we camp there it only gets better. The staff are polite and courteous and helpful. My only request and recommendation is that KOA invest in expanding their Wi-Fi connections. Otherwise the grounds and surrounding amenities were extremely clean and free debris. We will be staying there again.

The couple running the place are incredibly friendly and helpful. The campground is beautiful and well kept. Our issue was the road noise while camping at the pull through. We could not sleep, so we came home early.

It was wonderful and very relaxing... The campsite is always clean and cozy. The staff is very friendly and attentive. And Maria's cooking (chile relleno) is always a treat.

The staff was friendly although definitely short handed. The store was poorly stocked. The site we were in was too close to others. When we stepped out of the RV it was into a mound. Our personal devices did not have any reception and your WiFi is only at the store plus it’s weak. Tried the pay phone and it was dead. I found this to be a safety issue. We left two days early.

The staff is the friendliest and most helpful of any KOA we have been to. The campsite is beautiful. It was near Burney Falls which is a beautiful site to see. Would have liked a chair or two in the laundry room and better wi fi but overall a great experience!!

Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere… The spaces are well designed, even with a packed park and tent sites… we felt comfortable and not crowded… the host were very accommodating and their restaurant food was very good… Loved our stay and will return again.

The facility was nice and the staff friendly, but they need to be more honest about amenities. The Wifi was terrible and only worked at the office. My site was supported to have a patio and did not and the store had been out of ice for a week and wasn’t getting more for another week. So the price was right if they had the amenities they advertised, but to high for what was actually there.

This is a really nice RV park with clean bathrooms and kind staff. The sites are mostly wooded and there's a pond on one side of the park. Some KOAs don't really have trees, but this one does. Very pleasant. Conveniently located between Burney Falls state park and Lassen National Park so it's a good location as well.

Great campground! Easy to get in and out of the spots. Well maintained grounds, bathrooms/showers, common areas. Mix of grass and dirt spots; We had a grass spot and it was great for the kids. Kids loved the playground area and spent a ton of time there. Was more relaxed vibe than some campgrounds, could be due to no cell service but over all great campgrounds and great staff!

Staff was incredibly friendly, the bathrooms were clean and showers were huge and hot! Wifi worked great throughout the campground. Trash was picked up regularly and never built up or smelled, amenities were maintained well even on a busy Memorial Weekend. The kids loved riding their bikes and feeding the goats. Already booked our sites for next year!
