We can’t say enough good things about this campground and our cabin. The staff was excellent, friendly, and prompt to help. The cabin had everything you might need to stay. Just bring food and clothes. The campground has a kitchen that you can use! Each site has a fire pit and a BBQ. Excellent stay!

We made reservations one year in advance. Our site was changed, without our knowledge. It was not a good location for us as we needed to use the restroom facilities on site. That was a poor management decision. We have used this camp ground for years. We will not use it again. The pond was the worst we have ever seen, overgrown with algae, from lack of maintenance.

Lovely place, well maintained, and spacious sites. Biggest downside is the traffic noise from highway. Our site was beside road and was woken up repeatedly through the night thinking I was about to be roadkill. We were in a tent, so this may not be a problem if in a trailer.

Annie and David went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. They helped with information about places to visit, and were generally very accommodating. The grounds were nice, and well maintained. Restrooms were clean. Definitely would go back again.

Beautiful well-cared for campground. New facilities, especially the restrooms and rec room. Staff was very helpful particularly Scott. Only drawback is proximity to the highway but not enough to keep us from going back

Park was very clean and well up kept. Only negative was that wifi was only in their rec center and was slow. We would have liked wifi in the campground. Thank you for a nice quiet stay!

Friendly people, good size spaces. Beautiful surroundings. They just need to get someone to put in a cell tower. :-) We'll be back next year!

We were there for just one night. Beautiful campground and great hosts, Annie and Dave. They only negative was the lack of wifi outside of the office.

Great place to camp. Well kept grounds and they are making better improvements to this older campground as it had been run down by previous owner. I lived in Burney for 42 years and this is the best it has ever been. Try it.

Beautiful campground! Anne was so friendly at the office! We wished we could have stayed longer. The only drawback is no cell service and as a full timer we need the connectivity.

The hosts were so amazing! Anytime I ran into them at the store I was grateful for the friendly conversation! They gave great recommendations. The cabin was clean and safe.

Still needs some updating but know it takes time & money..it will come. Liked the restaurant…had dinner and breakfast. Staff were very attentive and friendly.

FIRST KOA EVER FOR US. KOA WAS RECOMMENDED BY 2 FRIENDS. JOINED AND STAYED 1 NIGHT LADY THAT CHECKED US IN WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEABLE. DID NOT USE ANY OF THE FACILITIES.

We had a short stay here while flyfishing the area streams. The campground was set up nicely with a variety of settings (grass, gravel, trees). All were relatively close to facilities and level. The restrooms were great and appeared to have been recently updated. Showers were tiled and there was plenty of hot water. There’s no Wi-Fi except at the camp store but it made for a nice walk. Thanks!

Beautiful camp, very friendly staff! We enjoyed our walks every day and visiting with others and their walks as they passed out site. Sites were large, flat, and ideal. Store was cute and well stocked. (Charging $1.50 for post cards advertising a different camp was very odd.) Bathrooms were top notch!

It was wonderful, the management was so warm and we totally enjoyed our stay. Kids really want to visit again. The playground, petting zoo and game room are bonus features.

Was very happy with our stay. Beautiful area. Laundry room was spotless and accommodating with a nice table that had a built in rod to hang clothes right out of the dryer. Lots of walking trails. Hope to see you again soon.

The place is super nice & relaxing camp sites are very large , nice grassy areas . The laundry Room is clean and has very nice washers & Dryers The baths are spacious and clean. Fishing pond has great fishing 2 nice dog runs and poop bags are all around as you walk your dog . We will definitely be back

Beautiful campground & so easy to get to from Reno…super clean rest rooms, plenty of doggie bag stations and play yards…overall, had a wonderful time! Wi-Fi & cell reception was not good…maybe something they could work on

We really enjoyed our stay at Burney Falls/Hat Creek KOA. We played pool and pong pong two nights in a row and ate the delicious breakfast burritos! The grounds were clean and picturesque. The staff were nice and friendly!

Beautiful park, great employees, very polite and helpful. But, we had no Wifi - it did connect but there wasn't enough power to get on the internet and the cable at our site and at least one other site wasn't working. Aside from those issues, we enjoyed our stay.

People were friendly, place was clean fir the most part. Pond was disgusting. Went to go to dinner in the cafe and an hour into service they were out of chicken which was the special.

Great location, camp site clean and roomy. Late season visit, store sparse on inventory; didn’t get to sample kitchen but aroma convincing. Wi-fi is limited to store footprint.

We stayed at 2 other KOA on this trip before Burney Falls. I did not have anything particular good to say about the previous locations. But the staff here was so incredibly nice and helpful. On top of that, the showers could have been at a resort. Let alone the property was just clean. We hope to make it back!

Cabin wasn't quite as described. Pictures seem to indicate it would be bigger. Plant some trees for a sound barrier, the trucks at night are very loud. Shower door did not fully close, Railing for bathroom sliding door broken (couldn't fully close it). Staff was nice enough and helpful, but attention to details somewhat lacking.

Back in site with FHUs on gravel/ dirt. Easy check in. No surcharge for early check in.Showers and bathrooms largest we have seen. Plenty of room in shower stalls and lots of hot water. Laundry room was excellent $3/washer, $3/dryer. WiFi only in main building and very weak. Only major improvement needed. Great access to Lassen National Park....only about 25 minutes to north entrance.

Beautiful, well maintained and spacious grounds. Lots of paths and options within the campground for morning and evening walks. Very enthusiastic camp management.

Loved this park employees were great. My only slight negative is that when there are so many spaces available it would be nice to space the guests out more. This comment would apply to most campgrounds. Tjis park was great and will be even better once the lake/swamp.is cleaned up.

The property was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only suggestion would be to extend the wifi beyond the immediate vicinity if the store.

Easy check-in. Very accommodating. Large sites. Restrooms/showers recently remodeled and are beautiful and CLEAN! Huge showers. Two dog areas which was convenient. Well-kept grounds. Absolutely non-existent Wi-Fi/internet, which we are sure KOA will enhance in the future. We would definitely return to this KOA!

Stayed two nights in one of the small camp cabins. Perfect for the two of us. Staff was friendly and helpful. Grounds were clean and well kept. The pond had an algae bloom, not a big deal for us since we spent our time exploring the area.

Nice spot to set up fishing or deer camp. Staff were super friendly. Lots of RVs. Beautiful area near Hat Creek and Lassen National Park! The on-site store could be better stocked with sandwiches, and other pre-made foods for midweek when the restaurant is closed but overall a nice place!
