Nice super friendly staff. At checkin we asked the GM for some fishing advice he referred us to Scott who led us to our site, gave us all the ins and outs of the site and gave us some tremendous fishing advice. Scott checked on us multiple times to make sure we were comfortable and fishing well. Out tent site #18 was great, the facilities were well kept. Great facility to stay at.

This was our second time staying at Burney Falls/Hat Creek. We enjoyed it very much both times and will be back. Suggestions: We missed the fish in the pond this year. Also the bathroom is great, but cleaning the corners of the showers and drying the floor in the dressing part of the shower stall would make things over-the-top Great!

This place was AWESOME!!! It was less than 30 minutes from the North entrance to Lassen Volcanic NP. 23 were able to pull in after hours and they helped pair our spots on short notice! Highly recommend! #KanesGreatAdventure

The campground is very clean and quiet. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The restrooms, showers and laundry are very clean. The campground is centrally located between Lassen and Burney and there are many local attractions to visit within 30-45 minutes.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our trip started off as a total disaster with truck issues on the way there. We made it late and our check in paperwork was there after hours. The next day we had great conversations with the staff, who gave great suggestions for site numbers. We chatted about the pond and the kids loved the petting zone. Overall a great experience.

We loved everything but the road noise, and the terrible set up for the pull thru spots. The fire pit and picnic table should be on the door side of the trailer (site 35)

We had a nice stay, with a beautiful campsite, and staff was very helpful on getting us a nice site. My only complaint would be that fellow campers that were playing music past the 10pm quiet time (11:30). If there was a late patrol by staff to see that everyone is being respectful after hours would help.

Closing the bathrooms for cleaning from 8:45-9:45 is incredibly inconvenient, as this is when folks are trying to get packed up for check out or ready for the day. Why can't you clean them at 1 or 2 pm like other KOAs?

The personal there is great they make you feel at home and we can’t wait to come back next year. It would be be nice to have a pool there as it get real hot there.

Very welcoming staff on arrival. Beautiful, quiet forest location. Can be a bit noisy if you stay up front near the highway. Did not use bathroom or shower. Very family friendly (kids playground).

Outrageously priced for a small back in space with road noise. No trees or view. Kind, helpful staff and nice bathrooms. Laundry prices very expensive.

We were fortunate to get a last minute spot for an early summer weekend. The staff were fantastic. The facilities were well kept. We had a very relaxing time doing absolutely nothing.

Hands down, the best KOA we have ever stayed at. The staff were kind, friendly, and very welcoming. The bathrooms were very clean, and grounds were well kept. We will very much be back next year!

Very friendly. We had a mechanical issue and delayed one day. They were very accommodating. We have stayed here for 6 years. The most wonderful bathroom and showers. Ever.

Love the place and we try to stay at least once every year. This is the second time in cabin 4 and the bed really needs to be replaced. The box spring has broken down. The cabin needs some TLC. We were with a group that had 2 RV spots, 1 tent spot and the cabin. The RV and tent spots were great, it is nice having electric and water at your tent spot!

The campground staff called me earlier in the day to confirm that I was on my way. They were very courteous upon our arrival. The camp was well maintained and the bath and showers were very clean. We had a great stay.

The campsite we had was amazing with the pond right next to us and we really like how large an spacious it was.Your not right on top the next camper like alot of campgrounds we have stayed at.And a very special shout out to JOY she went well beyond what you usually get.She was very helpful with all of our needs.Roberto was very helpful also.Thank You Joy & Roberto your the reason YOUR KOA IS GREAT

Camp site was nice and quiet. All the staff was very polite and helpful. Restrooms were clean. Petting zoo was cool!! The lady that made the Mexican Food on Saturday was great!! She made Chili Rellenos & Chimichangas and there were fantastic!!!!!! Her homemade hot sauce was great!! We would stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay. The site was primitive and clean with full hook ups. The bathrooms were clean. The pond was pretty. The location is good for exploring the sites in the area. Enjoyed it!

Enjoyed visiting the National Park and meals at the KOA, Breakfast and dinner. Just wish ther had been the famous cinnamon rolls had been available. Very well stocked store too! Just did NOT like the directions from Green Valley provided that took my class A rig towing a car on a big adventure on ablack Butte Road and through Shingletown.

Registration was easy. Front staff was friendly. General store at the park had most necessities. Our spot had many shade trees. Great water pressure for showers. Great experience all around. Would definitely recommend.

You stayed in cabin number two and I have just a couple of notes. The larger bed is listed as a queen but it is definitely a full size bed. I sleep on a queen at home and this one is smaller. The air conditioner was loud but pumped out plenty of cool air keeping us us cool and comfortable even at the hardest part of the day. There were no bowls, cups, plates or utensils which I was surprised about because when I've stayed in other KOA cabins there were but we bought paper plates and plastic utensils. Since the shower was small, we decided to use the showers in the main main part of the campground and they were beautiful. Honestly, they are the nicest showers I've ever seen at a campground. The Wi-Fi strength was excellent, allowing my husband to watch a world cup soccer game on his iPad with no difficulties. Thanks for a great stay.

Six Stars for the Incredible Staff at Burney Falls/Hat Creek KOA! While we didn't actually camp here, I need to share how the incredible staff at this KOA saved us from what could have been a true nightmare. We had a car incident on a remote forest road nearby and our vehicle had to be towed. With zero cell phone reception in the area, a kind soul drove us to this KOA—the closest open place around. Because of the remote location, we ended up stranded here for many long, uncertain hours waiting for a tow truck that could take us all the way to Reno. From the moment we arrived, the staff—specifically Joy and Kevin, the manager—treated us with overwhelming compassion, empathy, and generosity. They immediately provided us with their Wi-Fi connection so we could coordinate with the car rental company and the highway patrol. Throughout the evening and way past midnight, they did everything possible to help us, even offering overnight accommodations if we couldn't get a ride. Thanks to them, a stressful situation felt completely safe. The kindness didn't stop with the staff; an amazing Australian family staying at the campground even offered us some of their freshly baked pizza, which warmed our spirits during a tough night. A tow truck finally arrived and we were able to leave at 1:30 AM. We drove away with so much gratitude in our hearts. To the caring Australian family: thank you for the pizza. To Joy: thank you for your deep concern and your incredibly generous offer to drive us to Reno yourself if needed. To Kevin: thank you for providing so much more than just a safe shelter. Good Samaritans absolutely do exist. If you stay or visit here, know that you are in the absolute best hands.
