The stay was not bad. However it appears there are campers that are there long term and they were a rude and had dogs barking constantly.

Great location for day excursions to Cascades, and San Juan Islands. Beautifully kept campground with tall trees all throughout.

Great park, well maintained. Just wish the showers were a little hotter. Otherwise we had a great stay. Perfect base for visiting the San Juan islands and the Cascades.

100% we will be going back. Nothing negative to mention. Camp sites and park was clean and in a beautiful part of Washington and offered a ton of kid friendly amenities.

It was Awesome BEST KOA out of all them ... The owners Howard and Sunni are the Best !!Staff is Awesome Ruthie and Carol in the office are the Nicest . Anytime you need something they are always willing to help . Park is Neat and clean very safe place to take your Family.. Bathrooms and facility is Sparkling clean..

We had our third stay of the year and it was very enjoyable. The staff were great in the office and out in the campground. Everything was neat and clean, and other campers all appeared to have a great time. We have already booked again to get another stay. We have camped at this KOA for at least 15 years and enjoy everything there is to do all around the area, from sights to food!

The spot was fine but the very first impression one always gets is the front desk. The 2 women seemed rigid (the older Caucasian more so) as I’d they’d prefer to not talk to you or have questions answered. The price of $82 per night was bad enough but they had charges to add for everything. Visitors $10/person & $5 for car. Neighbor had to pay $20 for arriving 2 hrs early.

This is our second time staying at this campground. We enjoy that it is quiet and there are lots of things for the kids to do.

The copious amounts of excessive rules and restrictions made this stay at an otherwise lovely park, unpleasant. Regulating the length of a dog leash, what firewood you can and can’t burn, and who may visit you at your campsite are all things I’ve never experienced in many, many years of camping. The overwhelming amount of rules and policing make guests feel unwelcome.

On the phone the staff were quite friendly, but in person they were very abrupt and rude. The upcharges were totally unreasonable, and restrictions on everything from visitors to firewood and pets were totally ridiculous! We will not return to this campground under any circumstances.

Office staff was very nice and helpful. A lot of rules but that made for an enjoyable stay. Grounds were nice considering it was mid-July. About 15-20 minutes from shopping/dining in Burlington/Mt Vernon areas. Nothing fancy about the sites - gravel pads and drives. Very little shade in the back area of the park.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The campground is very well run and it’s very clean and quiet. The location is ideal as it served as a hub for day travel to other locations in Washington.

Great campground, could be in a better spot and isn't close to Anacortes though. Lots of quiet, respectful campers there. It was my first time staying there and I had a nice spot under the trees, which was nice and shady. I took my dog and he stayed on a tether, we tried using the designated dog area but there were too many rocks.

Our site was much smaller than described to us when we called to schedule. The pool seemed to need cleaning as it was very dirty as was the bouncy house.

From the minute you drive through the locked gate, this KOA feels more like you are someone to be tolerated ran than welcomed. Signs everywhere, telling you what not to do, a security "patrol" busting rule-breakers and threats to fine you if yo charge your car here. We personally were told to get our stuff off the brown lawn. The place is pretty enough, only if it were just more friendly.

Rules for both of your complaints are clearly stated on our website,map &in the office. Your issue is with too many rules posted throughout the park,however you could not follow any of them.We do NOT allow charging electric vehicles!No rugs on grass?That rule is stated.Where is your love for nature?

Enjoyed stay. Something must be done about the German Shepherds across from main entrance! The owner seems indifferent to the disturbance this causes; especially to the KOA PAYING customers! Unpredictable barking is an annoyance. It's hurting this KOA's business. Please look into county/animal control assistance if possible. Thanx.

Our first stay at a KOA and, while our kids are adults now, we understand the value! A bit pricey but guaranteed comfort and lots of family/kids stuff to do. This campground had a nice patch of grass plus a patio with picnic table and, as rv campgrounds go, a not bad amount of space between you and your neighbors. Would definitely stay again!

I was charged extra for each person. They charged $14 for my child and significant other. Plus $10 for his truck. In the reservation, it says up to 6 people at your campsite. We did pull through site with water and electricity. It was just the 3 of us. Total was about $170 for 2 nights. We will not be returning.

The place was very clean and well kept. Staff was friendly. Our site was not big enough for our 22 foot trailer and truck and we struggled to park the truck so that was disappointing. I understand why they make you buy their firewood but it was very expensive - felt like price gouging and led us to have less fires than usual. $5 per bundle would be more reasonable for that amount of wood.

I checked in late, and the Security Guard was so helpful in helping me to orient myself late at night. He even hand-delivered my parking decal when I misplaced it. I loved the deluxe cabin. Everything is made of high-quality wood and looks beautiful. I was at a family reunion and stayed alone, and it was just perfect for me. The queen bed was really comfortable, and there was a TV?

The pool could use some cleaning and TLC. Not impressed that our visitor was charged $15 to come visit us at our campsite. Sites were nice but the grass should be watered once in awhile. Great playground for kids

The front desk staff are very rude and unprofessional. This campground has a ridiculous rule about no guests on summer weekends. Even if they are willing to pay. Camping is supposed to be a family oriented. This specific campground has way too many rules. I have used this campground for 25 years plus with my family and this rule was not always in place. Multiple people have complained about this.

Sorry that you were unhappy with our rule. Even after we told your guest our rule, you left the park and picked them up and brought them to your campsite. So you actually allowed 4 visitors after the rule was explained.

This place is just minutes off off interstate 81. I was surprised how quiet it was in the evening. I was the only one having a fire. Unfortunately it wasn't much of a vacation since I spent most of the time troubleshooting some issues with the RV, but it was nice just the same, and the girl in the office helped me the morning I had to leave and my slides would not retract.......... I definitely recommend this campground for whatever your needs might be.

It was after school opened. The pool and jumping pillow was closed. But the large playground was great fun for my 4yr old granddaughter. The glide swings were fun and relaxing. The office had limited hours so we had trouble finding someone to ask questions to.
