passing through to check out the lake. you were about the only campgrounds in the aera.i have noted this about a lot of KOAs. that way they can set there price. the stay was nice, but so is most campgrounds. we found some stuff that needs fixed. most showers had slick floors. this a lawsuit ready to happen. found a handycap chair bent up legs, showers not cleaned daily,bad electric hook ups,

We were in site 237 and the 50 amp hookup voltage was low/high and our watchdog would not send power to our coach. We had to hookup to 30 amp and had to limit our appliance usage.

Paid $120 for the night, WiFi wasn’t working, pool Was closed. Gift shop had kids sized tshirts and men’s 2x, nothing in between

4 night stay to visit friends in the area. Crowded, not well maintained, junky long term resident trailers (including a crappy purple bus on a site at the entrance), smoke from fires so bad we could hardly breathe, quiet hours not enforced. Another example of a far-degraded KOA. Will never return.

I feel the sites were too close to each other. Also it was very upsetting that the pool was closed. That’s one of the reasons we went there. A refund of some sort is in order.

The personnel were very quick to get us going out of the office on check in. No guidance other than map. Short pull through. Close to neighbors. Electric tripped three times right away. Did replace fuse it worked. Then the sewer was full and bubbling onto neighbors lot. Noon responded from office

My wife and I are in our 70's and don't use your amenities however they look wonderful and the convenience to everything is great. Your campground is kept clean. I appreciate the military discount. There is a bush that needs trimmed along the front fence. It makes it difficult to see the traffic coming from the left when exiting your campground. See you next time we're in town...

Stayed 6/18: site 6. It was tight where we were but no issues getting our rig into or out of the site. Didn't use any of the amenities but we did like all the large, mature trees in our area. Lots of shade throughout the day.

When we arrived we found the activity amenities out of service. None were noted before making the reservation. We chose this campground and paid extra fees for our kids in order to have the activities after a long travel. I did not receive a reply to my email addressing this. My check in email noted to the pool closure but that arrived the morning we checked out which wasn’t helpful for plans.

We had a problem with the electric hook-up but as soon as I called the office they sent someone to our site, as it was an issue that would require the electrician they immediately move us to a deluxe site at no extra charge. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We have stayed here a number of times over the years as we passed through and always had good experiences. The park is well kept and clean.

There were no activities the way KOA typically does, the pool wasn't operational, and the staff was nearly non-existent. My understanding is that this is new owners / management and things take time, but we were not informed of these things prior to arrival. Also, less in their control, but the mosquitos were terrible.

Prior to our arrival We got a call saying they were moving us because the sewer was blocked (we had not picked our site so we just shrugged and said ok) . 2nd day there we had a geyser dumping grey tank! And it wasn't just grwy water in that sewer line! They had put us in the blocked sewer site! What a mess! NOW THEY HAD NO FHU SITE EXCEPT ALONG THE HIGHWAY, TIGHT AGAINST BOTH SIDES.

This was a nice park. The bathrooms were always clean. The location is great. Restaurants are nearby. I walked to the lake every morning. I like the area. There was so much to do. I'd definitely come back. My only suggestion is that the store hours should be longer. Certain spots seriously flood. Thankfully, we were not in one of them.

Staff was nice but campground is run down. Pool was unfortunately closed for repairs and we would not have stayed here had we known that. Sites aren’t very level and muddy. Beware of buddy sites. We knowingly booked a buddy site because of the price but regretted it once we were setup and were right on top of our neighbors.

The buddy sites are nice but this place has absolutely crazy mosquitoes. And why is the pool still not open. We were here a few years ago and it was closed then.

I don’t like that they never notified us of the pool not being up prior to booking. We should have gotten a partial refund.

My stay was nice and peaceful.Better if your pool was open.Staff was easy to approach.Your showers had great water pressure.I felt golf carts were alittle pricey.There is room for improvement with amenities.

This KOA does not compare to others we have stayed at and should NOT be considered a Holiday. It is an older campground, and it shows a lot of wear and tear. The office staff and friendly and professional. We had a deluxe site with a concrete patio. The concrete patio was broken, and the patio furniture was very dirty. The swimming pool was closed.

I had requested a pull-thru & close to bathrooms. We were given a buddy site when there were plenty of vacant sites for one night stay that would have suited us better. Pool closed for repairs should be made known by an alert notice. I would not have chosen this KOA but didn’t realize it until after we arrived. There is a notification on the website but it’s embedded in the amenities. �

we were traveling back to Pennsylvania from Kentucky. It was our first time just stopping at a KOA and hoping they had availability. We showed up after office hours and saw the sites they had avail and picked one, gave our information and the next day they ran our credit card. My only concern was not being able to use my KOA membership, but they found me in the system.

We usually do not leave surveys. But, we do stay a lot at KOA’s. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The campground is very rundown. We had some rain and there were several sites that were flooded.

Basically this is a trailer park and poorly managed for overnight stay. First time I stayed a long term resident fired a diesel generator and gassed us out in the dead of night. Second time I stayed arrived at 1830 and no paperwork in bin. After hours phone number didn’t work. Last Sunday arrived 2030, paperwork available, but site electric hookup broken. Phone # not working. Stay elsewhere.

We have stayed here previously over the years and loved it. This year was disappointing to say the least. Weeds, overgrown areas, putt putt was horrible now, no turf except on and it was torn. Very clean and friendly staff. Was here for Halloween weekend. The did a great job treating the kids. The bouncy pad was great for the kids
