As I was leaving home the Manager called me to say that the weather forecast called for violent thunderstorms that night. She asked if I wanted to find other accommodations. I asked if I could get a cabin and she upgraded me from a tent site to a cabin for which I was very grateful since we did have a violent storm with tornado warnings. Excellent pro active service.

Keys and map were left for late check-in, left at 5 am so left everything back at late check-in box. Knob on heater was broken, but it did work. Bathrooms clean and as expected. Biggest issue was that the cabin smelled like wet dog. We tried to air out when we first got there, which helped, but still fairly strong odor. Otherwise, pleased.

We were early season guests during a week with very strong spring weather. The camp hosts were awesome and worked tirelessly to keep us and all of the other guests happy, comfortable and taken care of. The campsite itself is right in the heart of Buckeye Lake with super easy access to local restaurants, the lakefront and convenience stores.

We stayed Halloween weekend in a camping cabin. The cabin was as advertised. The staff throughout our staff was attentive, professional, courteous. The activities for the kids (mining, pedal cars, pumpkin painting, costume contests, DJ dance party, etc. made the weekend so special. Loved that all of the people staying there participated in trick or treating for the kids. Will be back.

We stayed in the KL3 cabin closer to the front of the campground. Overall, the cabin was nice. It was toward the end of the season, so we understand that. But, the table was pretty sticky and blinds were missing from some of the windows or broken. Nothing terribly wrong, but it was evident that some upkeep was needed overall. Would stay again - and am planning on it.

Tried to cancel 2 weeks before and they said we were too late to cancel it needed to be 4 weeks notice. We were billed full price and did not go there, i dont think thats fair 1 night charge would be fair. We will not go back again, we liked camping there the other times we were there.

Very nice and quiet place. I came in late and they left the light on for me. Did not spend much time there but it was very peaceful.

We stayed in the studio cabin. Very nice little cabin, very clean. Lots for the kids to do. Gave 4stars instead of 5, because even though the cabin had lots of linens, there were no dishes. We brought everything but dishes understanding that they were provided. Asked management and was told they but them in at the beginning of the season, then they are used up or taken.

Our cabin was lovely, but lacked basic expected supplies, like cups or mugs, even though there was a coffee maker. Also, there was never an attendant at the bikes/blow ups/put put course.

We stayed in cabin #1, across from our daughter. Our other daughter who lives in the area, bought our grand children to play. We all had fun and the weather was great.

Recommend adding free premium wifi for deluxe cabin rentals. Also, WTTE/Fox is not working right on your cable. Was not able to watch OSU game which was a disappointment.

We stayed in one of the cabins. It was one that slept 6. I had paid half when I made the reservations months ago. When we got to check in we were asked how many were staying with us. Total of 6 Friday night and total 3 Saturday night. The check in person said that will be $16.00 extra for 4 people ,per person on Friday and $16.00 for 1 person on Saturday. Would like an explanation for this. not on

We rented 3 camping spots and 2 cabins, I feel that they were a little high priced, charged for kids in addition to the camp spot, was told 1 year old was free but was charged for them. There were activities for the kids

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Cabin was clean. we really enjoyed ourselves my only a few minor complaints are that the air conditioning smelled like mold, the bathhouse at back of campground restrooms are so small that only a child can be in there and it’s not built for an adult. Also, the pool needed some cleaning. But overall everything was nice.

We have been staying at this KOA for several years now and have always enjoyed ourselves, but I do have to say this year was even better. Everything was functional, the exposed mud pits from last year were fixed, the new deluxe cabins were very nice and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.

We stayed in the cabins at the back of the park. Lots of room back there for the kids to run around and play and close enough to the bathrooms. We arrived late, but the camp host greeted us and brought us firewood. In fact, the nice men worked all weekend delivering wood and ice, and even took us for a hay ride! We would recommend a cabin again!

The Kamper Kabin was fine but definitely should have been swept & mopped before our stay. The kids enjoyed the amenities while they were staffed/open. The staff was friendly. The bathrooms, especially the one in the back near the cabins, were without paper towels and soap all weekend and really needed cleaning. Considering these were the ones nearest most "primitive" campers, I expected better.

We really enjoyed our stay there. Our grandkids loved the breakfast at the cafe on Sunday morning and the nice lady who cooked for them. It was very quiet up in the cabin in the woods. We drove to the zoo and olentangy Indian caverns while staying there also.

This is the second time we have brought our granddaughters here and we all love it. There is so much for all ages to do!! Everyone was so kind and friendly. Very accommodating!!

Stayed three nights - two were tent camping and we used one of the cottages on the last night to avoid heavy rains. Great facilities and things for kids to do. Enjoyed the pool which had extended hours to 8 pm which was convenient. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Really enjoyed our stay!

Going for years but this time was ok.Staff was nice.Shop, and services shut down at 5pm during week, middle of summer rush. Gameroom shutdown early. Had deluxe cabin but when time for bonfire, no lighter. Was told must have been taken & would need to purchase. The deluxe ones are most expensive & are to have everything you need but had missing items. Wifi was weak, air conditioner barely cooled.

Friendly staff, nice area, LOTS of things for kids, clean bathrooms, ability to text with front office. Quiet area about 30 minutes away from Columbus Convention Center with easy access to two I-70 ramps and a TA just minutes down the road. This campground is exactly what I expect when the KOA name is on the signboard.
