have stayed there many times over the years and this was the worst. Rented a cabin NO internet, employee came to fix it and couldn't so just left it at that No compensation. Then not much for the kids as in the past went to activities and was told out of crafts for kids to do. First responders came and that was a flop. Then kids only had a half hour to trick or treat. WON'T LET ME FINISH MY STORY!

We had a great stay! I would ask that maybe the bathroom pocket door could be fixed on KL4. It kind of closed last year, but is hanging crooked and will not close all the way.

Rainy/Wet…Not the camp grounds fault….I realize the KOA site specifically stated “No Internet”. Yet when we get there and due to the weather we were basically..cabin bound.. My wife and I are both pretty computer savvy so we figured we would just “Hot Spot” our phones and use our I pads. The deluxe cabin was nice except for the bed. The mattress was very saggy and we didn’t sleep well. The staff was very nice but the camp store did not have any lighters to buy to start a fire. We forgot ours and couldn’t buy one. Luckily another camper gave us one.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It wasnt clean. Leftover raw chicken in fridge, plastic water bottles floor by couch used tooth pics on floor by bed. Dust collected under bunk mattress. Musty smell to cabin. The overall campground just needs some TLC.. When we were there , they had a major mosquito problem. They were so bad u couldnt sit outside. The Buckeye Lake area is so beautiful.

It was good I only stayed one night because I was gonna do a body positivity camp in Newark and just wanted a place to stay for the night so I didn’t have to travel the same day. There were lots of amenities. Loved the pool and that it was not only open during Labor Day weekend but it had longer hours than I expected. The cabin had ac and felt good. I love the camp store as well

Overall great, super friendly staff, quiet and cozy. The mosquitoes were terrible. The water pressure in the shower was unusable, and tried to go to the shower house and get a shower instead and they were out of order

It was very enjoyable. The cabin was clean and nice and cool when we got there. The bathrooms were extremely clean and the air conditioning was amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it. I highly recommend.

Meet Shelly & her fiancé, was super nice people & hard workers. Really think needs some security later in the night, just happened to be outside at midnight white van pulled about 7 kids jump out started throwing rocks at metal building & trying to get in the pool.

All of the staff were great and were very friendly and sincere. Our cabin was clean and well maintained. We had a great stay!

Everything was great except we did not know the tvs did not work. It rained so we would have liked to watch a movie. And we were used to the breakfast in the Pavillion. All else great. We will be back!

I really enjoyed our stay! We rented a deluxe cabin and it was super clean and had everything that we needed and we went in August and the ACs worked really well which we appreciate appreciated. The campground itself was super clean and had some fun things for the kids to do which we also really appreciate appreciated!

I have stayed in many KOAs but this was a terrible experience. I should have taken the other negative reviews more seriously. It started with finding out at check in there would be no tv, no WiFi and no discount for the inconvenience. I had to buy a $40 dvd player from a Walmart 20 mins away. Then no hot water just an icy shower to end the day. No follow up on my complaint, just thanks for coming.

I just found out from my daughter that the cabin they were in had carpenter ants that crawled on them while they were sleeping and that they were all over the cabin. Because she arrived late and checked out early, I never knew about the issue. Our Rv site was good, the people were nice, but I would have requested a refund of the cabin had I known about the ants. I can’t believe you rented it out

We stayed in cabin K12. in the years past we have stayed in a cabin. When we arrived we did not know they moved all the cabins to the area, which was the rustic camping area. We felt secluded in area we could not interact with fellow campers or see our vehicles Not sure if the KOA camp got caught off guard due to the Mopar nationals date change. Actually, we're very disappointed with the cabin. We left a day early I'm pretty sure the cabin didn't get clean before we were there because when I swept, a lot of dirt and mice poop and was mice poop in the drawer. we mentioned about the water pressure. was told it was fine but you had to pretty much stand against the water handle to get enough water to wash . boxspring was discolored mattress?

We stayed in a Studio Cabin and it was FANTASTIC! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was the best night sleep we had had in a week. The staff was friendly and knowledge and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The quality of this campground is poor in comparison to other KOAS. I stayed there for 2 nights. The bathrooms attached to the office were not cleaned the whole time I was there. The campground as a whole appeared tired and worn out. The sites were too close together too. The camping cabin I stayed in was clean and in working order as was the pool which has been reopened. I will not be returning.

Everything and everyone was really great. It was convenient to the lake and eateries. The amenities was awesome, swimming, volleyball all fun. Dog park was great. The only complaint is the shower water pressure was awful. I think the shower head just needed replaced.

The front desk staff was RUDE. The mattresses in the cabins were extremely uncomfortable. The cabins had nothing in them. (Every other KOA cabins have a fridge, a microwave, a toaster, or something for comfort… this had nothing but a two foot table). Very run down. The showers were dirty (stayed Monday and Thursday night and the same clump of hair was on the wall). One star because of the pool.

The stay wasn’t very enjoyable, the pool was broken, the putt putt course was not running, the gem mining never ran, and wasn’t much for kids to do. Very disappointing.

The pool was closed again. Second year in a row we’ve come and it’s been closed. Discount should have been applied. I was not told when booking my reservation. Store closes at 6 which is way too early. Paying $263 for one night for a cabin is ridiculous

Arrived late and left early so did not personally interact with anyone. Easy to find campground and pick up night registration. Basic cabin overpriced. Parking in rear of cabin inconvenient, especially in the dark.

We was in town for the buckeye country music fest. Stayed there last year in a cabin had a great experience. This year was a Lil different as the back cabins were shut down. Nice clean camp but need to focus on back cabins to make it feel more camping. If your in a tent prolly feel great!

Things appear to be ageing and falling apart. The bathrooms were clean, but only got hot water in the shower for about 30 seconds before it turned ice cold. We normally just camp, but got a camping cabin to accommodate some friends. Definitely wasn't worth the almost $150. Could have stayed in a hotel. Personally, won't rent a camping cabin again

We had wonderful time! We all got to decompress for the weekend despite the rain that happened on Saturday! The kids had a great time with the water slide and the rides in the golf cart. They got to play and win at the arcade. Great visit over all! Thank you!

There not alot for adults to do and to pull into find out the pool was close but we was never notified about it is disappointing. Then the morning we was suppose to leave to be told the water was off and we couldn't shower was even worse. I look on their web site and at no point is it being told to customers

Bathrooms were filthy 80% of the time, heavy rains caused flooding & the staff and office was clueless as to what to do. Campers were outraged at the lack of help and knowledge of the staff.

Previously had stayed in our camper and that was a great experience. This time rented a cabin. This experience was disappointing. The cabin had not been thoroughly cleaned. There were mouse droppings in the bunk areas and a liquor bottle under the mattress. The hot water never reached to the shower so it was an uncomfortable shower for that evening. I would not rent a cabin again. Cabin was KL1.

Very clean and friendly staff. Was here for Halloween weekend. The did a great job treating the kids. The bouncy pad was great for the kids
