Highly recommend this KOA! My tow vehicle broke down and had to towed to a nearby repair shop. The staff at this KOA were GREAT and worked with me to extend my stay. They checked in with me on a regular basis and went out of their way to make my very unexpected extended stay a wonderful experience. The grounds are well maintained. Highly, HIGHLY recommend spending a couple nights here!!

Excellent stay even though the weather was wet. The staff are all very friendly and doing a wonderful job getting ready for season. It was a bummer though that we payed for amenities and a "holiday" resort...yet nothing was going on within the park as far as actvities during the week.

Only giving this 4 as we were there barely 12 hours and didn't partake in the amenities. Stayed in a deluxe pull-thru site 313 which was spacious. Plenty of space to walk the dogs.

This was our 2nd stay at your campground so we are returning visitors and will come again in the future. The campground is well maintained and grounds are kept well. My son and daughter-in-law rented one of the cabins this time also. It was a cozy little place that made great use of the space. Keep up the great work!

I know it was early in the season, but grounds were really rough and not manicured. Some junky areas. A number of sites with clutter which appear to be a few full timers and seasonal renters. Needs better gravel and drainage in many areas. Staff very nice and helpful. Shower/bathrooms very clean.

Knowing you had a lot of rain, we still expected the pad we were parking on would at least have enough stone that we were not walking in mud .

The staff was very nice and attentive, always ready to assist in any way. The property have plenty of activities. Close to highway I-70, various restaurants and shopping center. However, the property has very poor drainage and floods very badly when a severe rain storm comes through. Some of the lots are in direct flood zones and hook ups will be under water.

It had been a rainy week. The site would have been so much better with more gravel. It was so muddy that my husband slipped an fell while setting up. Really a problem that the campground could have prevented.

Peaceful and quiet. Lots are complete with a cement patio complete with a table with 4 chairs and a pair or adarondak chairs. A light and grill made a wonderful spot if you wanted to cook out. As we were packing up to leave they came and weed eated around the bushes and edge of cement and the tree as he finished another came and blowed all the grass clippings away.We Certainly will go back again

I asked for help clearing my paver block fireplace site along with firewood pricing through the auto text function because I was not at the resort. The messages went unanswered and when I returned with friends to enjoy a fire at my site, the office had a hand written note stating that they were closed. This was prior to three o'clock in the afternoon... My friends were not impressed as was I.

No hot water in the showers and no internet - basically we paid $60 for electric and water - we are full timers and use KOA on the road almost exclusively- we won’t make this stop ever again. Would request a refund but we know it doesn’t work that way sadly.

Very clean campground. Greeted by a friendly staff. We needed a propane refill. The staff picked up and delivered our tank once they refilled it. Very pleased with stay.

The area was experiencing severe weather and flooding. Most staff was pleasant; however the campground was disorganized and unprepared grocery's nor rentals were available. The staff kept giving conflicting information. Due to the flooding we offered to leave early to free up space; but was told that wasn’t necessary; we left early anyway and a staff member told us they needed the space.

As I was leaving home the Manager called me to say that the weather forecast called for violent thunderstorms that night. She asked if I wanted to find other accommodations. I asked if I could get a cabin and she upgraded me from a tent site to a cabin for which I was very grateful since we did have a violent storm with tornado warnings. Excellent pro active service.

Our site was fine. The shower water was lukewarm in the ladies but cold in the men's, not much fun on a chilly evening. We did enjoy a walk by the lake.

Keys and map were left for late check-in, left at 5 am so left everything back at late check-in box. Knob on heater was broken, but it did work. Bathrooms clean and as expected. Biggest issue was that the cabin smelled like wet dog. We tried to air out when we first got there, which helped, but still fairly strong odor. Otherwise, pleased.

Buckeye Lake is our favorite jumping off place when we are heading west. Their office staff is great and they go out of their way to make your stay great, too.

Campground was experiencing a flood; so take comments in context. We experienced a belligerent male in office when we asked for site not requiring us to cross over flooded bridge; female attendant was polite and gave us a safer site. Only one bathroom per sex was open on entire site. Shower curtain in men's bathroom was on the floor. Sad to see this KOA gone down hill.

I understand that there is nothing you can do about mother nature but I would of liked a phone call or some type of notification letting us know that your campground was flooded. We drove 2 1/2 hours to the campground to only find out that it was 75% under water. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I'm sure it's a beautiful campground in the summer.

The campsite itself is right in the heart of Buckeye Lake with super easy access to local restaurants, the lakefront and convenience stores.

We were only stopping one night and checking in late, office closes at 5pm. Left info at pickup area, which was fine. Upon arriving late and not planing on hooking up to services we found out that you have to have a key for bath houses and they didn’t leave one with our check in stuff so at 10:30pm we had to hook up to use rest rooms in trailer, this is ridiculous for short term stay there’s

The staff was very helpful getting us in for the night. The campgrounds sites were clean and easily accessible. The restrooms/showers were clean.

While I was happy to have a site, $70+ for a one night stay in winter when nothing but bathhouse was open is ridiculous. Stayed at another Koa for $50 per night which is better but still high considering lack of amenities!

We've seen a lot of changes over the 14 years as seasonal guests but nothing like this year. Change can be good when organized and communicated but not the case with the new owners/staff. Although costs have gone up across the board for everything these days, one would still have the expectation of maintenanced grounds, clean facilities, and polite staff. And verbally attacking guests is not ok!

We really enjoyed the campgrounds, but management was not friendly and often yelled directly at the children instead of bringing up any concerns to parents. For being a customer driven business, the management has a lot to work on. Don't plan on coming back at this point or recommending the campground to friends or family.

We stayed Halloween weekend in a camping cabin. The cabin was as advertised. The staff throughout our staff was attentive, professional, courteous. The activities for the kids (mining, pedal cars, pumpkin painting, costume contests, DJ dance party, etc. made the weekend so special. Loved that all of the people staying there participated in trick or treating for the kids. Will be back.

We stayed in the KL3 cabin closer to the front of the campground. Overall, the cabin was nice. It was toward the end of the season, so we understand that. But, the table was pretty sticky and blinds were missing from some of the windows or broken. Nothing terribly wrong, but it was evident that some upkeep was needed overall. Would stay again - and am planning on it.

Rented a tent site and the managers and employees were super helpful and very nice. Great location for Buckeye Lake activities.
