We enjoyed our overnight and wish we could have stayed longer. Appreciated the holiday decorations! Staff was very accommodating when we asked to move sites because of the sewer location. Appreciate the store staying open until 9 so we could grab our dessert:)

Some issues with the dranage of water . That will cause the bugs to be so bad the area of standing water

Campground was nice could use some tlc near the mini golf course and the WiFi could use some upgrade workers were very friendly and helpful

Nice lots, park needs some TLC..mowing, pressure wash pads, metal table and chairs rusted… WiFi not reliable. The staff was nice and friendly, felt they enjoyed their job. For the price , KOA needs a lot more TLC!

Run down, needs work and maintenance. Very wet campsites, Stone is needed to raise grade on sites.

Stay was very relaxing and enjoyed our stay. ( 5/5) - Reservations easy ( online) - Pick your site worth the extra charge. - Place was clean and quiet (even in the day) Issues with KOA as a whole. (3/5) - Sites -small and cramped - 6/ per site max. We had 4. Fee/camper/day over 2 ( 4 here) - wood 3/$25. Get law for loose wood. But bringing sealed, debarked & dried ($5/bundle) still p

We enjoyed our stay at the Koa. We have been to quite a few! We really like the fact that if you didn't have a sewer hook up for a small fee a nice gentleman came and pumped it out for you. My husband really liked that. The rain was horrible the night before we left and the flooding was really bad, yes we liked our stay at Buckeye Lake KOA

Our neighbors were rude and very loud until 4am. I asked them nicely to quiet down and they laughed. Everything else was wonderful.

Sights were uneven and to small for our RV . Campground flooded during the night, not their fault but could have minimally knocked on doors and warned us. Felt bad for tents who had 2 ft of water After paying for pull thru needed to unhook to back up to get out. Disappointed in them and KOA corporate for rating this very poor excuse for a campground, a Holiday Level… wont trust KIA ratings

The fire pits are too close to the campers, the sites are small and the sewer odor is bad. The showers are great and the staff are friendly.

They were having sewer related problems so they were sending a gentlemen around twice a day to empty people’s rv’s. Also, the sites were very muddy due to recent rains and had to ask them to put down some straw or gravel just to get vehicles in and out of sites. Would be really nice if there had not been recent storms. Lots of shade if it was hot.

Bathrooms were very well kept! The campground is run down a bit but the staff was very friendly and they took good care of everything!!

I made a group reservation a couple months ago. I stopped by a day before scheduled arrival to verify arrangements and discovered the previous manager, no longer with KOA, had failed to schedule the group and failed to place us in a common area. The current manager was able to resolve some of the issues, two of our group in a nonfunctioning sewer area, requiring them to use a honeywagon.

We were only there for overnight. The bathrooms closest to our site were closed. The camp sites are way too close. I hate how KOA shoves as many camp sites as possible. It appears money is more important than the camping experience.

Site was very nice, really level, good location. Good amenities /facilities. Phone and WiFi reception were very poor�. The exit road could use repair-quite bumpy with potholes. Very friendly and exceptionally helpful staff.

Only there for an overnight trip this time, but will definitely return. This is a quiet and well maintained campground with a friendly staff, in a great location.

The better parts of our overnight stay consisted of friendly staff, not up front, but friendly. Second was clean bathrooms. Other than that I paid for full hookups and sewer was unavailable due to flooding in previous weeks. Therefore, the mosquito population was horrible due to standing water. Had I read the reviews prior to reserving site, I would’ve skipped this place.

50 Amp power outlet didn’t work. Someone came out immediately to check it out. We got the 30 amp power to work which was okay since I didn’t need both air conditioners. Site was pretty muddy. I’m not sure how much rain there was prior to my arrival. Several of the sites next to me were unusable due to being covered in water. Otherwise the campground was nice and shady and my site was roomy.

The staff is WONDERFUL! My problem with this KOA is that it looks and feels very run down and not well maintained. The area around the arcade is very trashed up. Weeds are overgrown. It just looks bad. And I don't know what is up with the abandoned trailer down by the dog park that has an actual tree growing out of it, but it seems like a safety hazard. For the expensive price, it should improve.

Always like Buckeye Lake KOA. A little pricey, but the campgrounds are nice and the check in/out is easy.

It was all flooded and muddy mess at the site. All the hook ups are in the front and not the back of the RVs so you need two cords to reach. The septic was broken and from the reviews which we failed to read before had been for awhile. The dump statin is higher than the road, so you have to let the sewage drain into the hose and then lift it to dump into the station. Run down never again!

We were placed in the last concrete patio site facing the bathroom and construction parked trucks. Site needed gravel. Was so low we needed boards to raise our camper so we could open our door using the pull out steps. We were disappointed this visit. We have been here every year for 9 years straight . The campers when you first pull into the entry way of the koa campground were an eye sore.

All the permanent campers make the place look junky..also if you get any rain or floods very easy. The sites are too close. The staff was friendly though. This just wasn’t what we were used to with the KOAs we have stayed at.

Site was tight and had a lingering foul odor. Pool was closed, and the mini golf needed major cleanup and maintenance. Several pull thru sites were unavailable due to unstable electrical issues. The only positive we found was the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We arrived on Friday 9/4/26 for a 3 night stay. Friday night it rained and flooded our camp site. There was 2" of water outside of our door. The water subsided somewhat, but the picnic table and fire ring were under water for the remainder of our stay. The campsite was a muddy mess. It would have been nice if we offered a dry site.

Very clean and friendly staff. Was here for Halloween weekend. The did a great job treating the kids. The bouncy pad was great for the kids
