Great fall weekend! Fun activities, great location, nice staff. FYI: The buddy sites are great (facing each other) but would be awful if it rained - dirt and gravel, no grass!!

Way over priced. The facility is not well taken care of. Sites are very small your on top of each other and the sites are not maintained. For $90 a night I would have expected more activities and options for the kids. The playground equipment is from the 80s and falling apart. They do have a newer jump pad that was nice but that was it. The mini golf was in horrible condition.

I wish we lived closer. This campground had a very cozy vibe with lots of trees. They had buddy sites which I have never seen before, two sites face each other.

We only stayed 1 night due to traveling. Great to have a pull thru site but set up for hook ups was strange. Pricey for 1 night stay.

our visit to the area was to attend OSU/IOWA game, so we did not take full advantage of the parks amenities. my only complaint would be the dump station. you cannot get a good dump when it has to flow uphill, and god forbid you were leaving on a major checkout day, you would probably sit for an hour waiting your turn, and just wanting to drive out would be stuck as there was not a lot of space

Nice and quiet grounds but with lots of things to do if you choose. The lake is great and we enjoyed fishing. Nice hookups and everything was clean! Staff was super friendly and extremely helpful!

Wonderful and very helpful staff! A beautiful location with lots of trees and a great restaurant and new donut shop literally a couple blocks walk away. We have stayed here several times and always enjoyed it. On the weekends they offer a nice breakfast on site. If you have bicycles you can enjoy a pretty ride around most of the lake as well!

The weather was disappointing but the stay was perfect! We enjoyed the quiet time and quiet campground. Everything was clean and I will definitely be back.

Even though it was a very rainy weekend our stay was good. I do have a suggestion-since none of the spots are paved more gravel would be beneficial. With the rain there was quite a bit of mud.

We arrive late so I had to do after hours check-in, which was fine. Appropriate documentation was there. The overall camp is very nice but does need some refreshing. The staff is very friendly. Would stay here again.

great park with nice trees for shade. great people also for help. restrooms need maintain better. cobwebs, spiders, and pieces of toilet paper on floor for 4 days I know that were not cleaned or vacuum up.

We liked being able to walk along the boardwalk on Buckeye Lake and see the birds. We were thrilled to see a great blue Heron right on someone’s wharf!

Only a one night stopover, arrived after hours, but everything was fine. Especially liked that the rear bathhouse had individual rooms. Clean campground. Would definitely stay again.

Not a bad campground. It was quiet and out of the way, we had a great site except for the fact that it was close to one of the bathhouses and every morning the smell was horrible. I live across from a hog farm and it is not nearly that bad. Wi-Fi ?? There is no free Wi-Fi here if you want it you have to pay for it, could not connect any device through the regular Wi-Fi.

It was quiet yet the spaces were close together, dusty and very little grass. Unfortunately, we were there during a huge event happening nearby but I give all the credit to this KOA for keeping order and not having the participants affect our stay. We visited in a 40’ Class A towing with 2 dogs. There wasn’t room to tie the dogs up and use our patio table due to the neighbor being so close.

We arrived late and still had someone lead us to our site. Then in the morning, as we were getting ready to leave, the office/store texted me to see if we needed anything. We needed to know if they had coffee, which they did, and they responded to my text reply that they did have coffee. It was a little thing, but I really appreciated it. And it helped us get on the road quickly.

Packed solid with little room between each site. Almost every camper had a dog or two and some three. Barking all day long and into the night. Actually had someone walk their dog right up to our site and it did its business next to our pick nick table and they walked away! No tv service and if you wanted usable internet you had to pay. Also had to pay for price increase? never again

The cable and internet services as advertised are in extreme need of updating ASAP. The camp store is great! It has everything I want need and then some; I love shopping there! The women's handicap restroom in the main building could use a deck scrubber brush to eliminate mold and dirt build-up. A non-slip strip should be put on the approach in shower as it is very slippery if walked on.

Very nice campground. I feel their alittle high priced, a hundred dollars for elec and water is high. Place was clean staff was friendly. Would reccomend to others.

Even though there were many spaces open I was given one right next to someone else. Could have given me one more isolated and private. Also, the spot was barely large enough for my rig. Reservation site said it was a large spot. Ground is grass free so when it rains there is dirt and mud everywhere. When dry there is lots of dirt dust. Showers are barely maintained in terms of cleanliness.

This is a wonderful place to take the family camping. So much for the kids to do, swimming in the pool, giant inflatable jumping mat, mini golf, game room and more. Great employees working SO hard to make this older park enjoyable for all. We really enjoyed our stay.
