The Columbus East KOA is very easy to get to from route 70 and convenient to Buckeye Lake and all the restaurants. This KOA is very dated and needs a lot of updates and TLC. Compared to other KOA‘s this campground visually needed some work.The Wi-Fi and the pool were not working during our stay. Staff were very friendly.

We stayed at the KOA and it poured down rain the first night which caused nothing but a mud puddle completely around our camper. It would be nice if there was more gravel or grass in the areas that tend to flood. It made it very uncomfortable for camping. This is the second time we’ve camped there and this has happened.

The campground is showing its age. One of the bathrooms was out of order and a lot of sites were flooded out. Would recommend improvements and new gravel or mulch at the sites to cut down on the mud and wetness

I booked 2 sites as were wit friends. Would have been great to have our camp sides facing one another. Also my site didn’t have a gas grill and I didn’t bring charcoal

This place floods bad and is very muddy. Nice staff, clean bathrooms, shady sites. Could use some upgrades and TLC.

Clean restrooms and good location.. there was no cable or internet. Was told a storm wiped them out two weeks ago along with the electric. Then stated can't get workers back until next week. Suspect they are switching wifi and I was not told the correct info. Should have discounted my stay or refunded my 3 nights so I could go up the road. May not return!

There was no WiFi,the bathrooms in the back were closed, the cable doesn’t work from a flood. They tell you that after you check in. The site had water all around it. After driving for 9 hours didn’t have the energy to leave. They still charged the full price after all that. Very disappointed again with KOA. We have been members for many years but not anymore.

Sites are tight and very close together. Exit turn is VERY tight (greater than 90 degrees). Campground was still recovering from Spring floods so difficult to provide an accurate assessment.

No WIFI, water turned off without notice, sites weedy and muddy. Sites very tight - neighbors sewer hose was right next to my picnic table. Seems like an older tired campground.

I called end of April to cancel our reservations left a message.Received an email reminding us of our upcoming stay,I emailed back May 15th said I already called and left a voicemail that we needed to cancel, I got no return email. Still was charged a night ..the girl even said they were having problems with the phone ,she also seen the email I sent...totally not FAIR..

We’ve stayed there a couple of times. I’m sure we will again. The staff has always been friendly. The facilities and better than most. Good close activities to do around if you’re into that as well.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. Our only constructive feedback was that the DJ was very loud. We could hear every word inside our camper. We have a young daughter who needed to go to sleep and it made it a bit difficult. Other than that, we loved the campground.

The stay was very unwelcoming! There was a busted water line or something through our campsite so part of it was flooded the entire time. One shower house was closed. No WiFi during our stay. Not all activities were open as advertised. Some staff super friendly others were not nice or knowledgeable. Staff did deliver ice and one man aired up bike tires. Will not choose to stay again. Left early.

Campground and facilities were clean and well shaded. Sites could use some new gravel. Water leak somewhere around site 180 kept the road and edges of campsites a bit muddy and wet.

It seems like it’s gone down over the last couple years. I’m sorry to say. There’s no activities it seems like for adults anymore. There used to be bingo extra and Memorial D weekend. It was dead except for the one night that had a DJ. I would think you would have more things going on. We were just very surprised you had a few things. We go to relax but not be bored. Years we have come

Nice campground with mature trees and very friendly and helpful staff. A lot of the activity equipment is poorly maintained. A bath and shower house was out of service but the other two we still open and clean. Campground did have activities with campers but we only found out about them by the night host driving around on their golf cart. Suggest adding a flyer of activities when you check in

Just ok - lots for kids to do and probably nice in summer but only there for one night - I paid extra for a pad site so I wouldn’t be in the flooded area again like we were on way out for our trip

My first stay at a KOA so nothing to compare other than local OH state parks. It was nice overall. Staff was nice and readily available. Water even with my filter left a weird white residue on cups. Hard to believe the expense is worth it though, the pool is TINY. I have two other KOA stays booked. Will see how those go.

Of 4 KOAs we booked for our trip we paid the most for this one. However the office was closed when we arrived, despite a 5:20 arrival. There was no WiFi and the advertised bathroom near our site was closed.

This was our first camping stay ever. The grounds were clean, well kept, easy to maneuver with clean shower houses. We were helped as soon as we got to our site by John. He walked us through the entire set up with lots of good information and suggestions. We appreciated that so much. Thanks again to John.

We had one of their patio sights. Grass was cut and every thing working on a very level sight. There was a lot of light poles and lights on the electric panels in our area. Every light was in working order. Great Job!

This was the most expensive campground I have ever stayed in and far from the nicest. Facilities were out of order including a bath house and the dump station. I was looking at KOA rewards program and was underwhelmed. No discounts are guaranteed. Most KOA facilities are great. Not so much with this facility

Booked from out of town was told campground was full due and only you highest cost site was available due to town event. Arrived just before midnight. Campground was may at most 40% full lots of lower cost sites open. These idiots put us in the costliest site and the one in sitting water and was not even mowed around fireplace. We did ask for price adjustment boubt I ever get a call...

We don't know how much rain fell before our Tuesday arrival, but we were a bit dismayed to find our part of the campground half submerged in flood water, requiring a bit of shallow water wading to get hooked up. Our only other complaint was that one of the men's shower doors could not be locked. But the staff was helpful and pleasant, and the campground quiet. We may well be back!

Sites are extremely narrow for pull-throughs. Water is okay, but our faucet head leaked. Staff is friendly. Convenient to lake, food and gas.

The new policy of locking in your site is ridiculous. The cost of staying at tge KOA's is already higher than most others and then we're supposed to pay more to be next to each other. Plus we had 3 campers and one was "moved" 2 rows over but all weekend we had at least 2 spots behind us empty.

This campground is a gem hidden away in the woods! Such a beautiful location and especially child friendly with lots of things to do and explore on the premises! A pretty blue pond with a water fountain adds the finishing touches to the campground.😊

This is a wonderful place to take the family camping. So much for the kids to do, swimming in the pool, giant inflatable jumping mat, mini golf, game room and more. Great employees working SO hard to make this older park enjoyable for all. We really enjoyed our stay.
