We had a great time for trick or treat weekend! Easily becoming one of favorite camping destinations. WiFi boosters would be greatly appreciated for football season though. Overall great experience.

We stayed at Buckeye Lake KOA in late October.The only reason I didn't rate it higher was WiFi was sketchy at times. That being said it was well kept and a pretty setting. Very large space with concrete patio with settee plus. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Fall colors were beautiful. Being late season many restaurants didn't open until 4. I would definitely recommend staying here,

We had a great stay this past weekend. Lots of activities for the grandkids and helpful staff. The only issue we encountered was as we were packing up, they shut off the water without notifying those who were cleaning up to check out. Would have started sooner if we had known. Very disappointed in this issue!!

Worst trip ever, didn't get the campsite we asked for, though there were plenty of empty spaces, management was rude and didn't care and did nothing to earn our repeat business. We travel that way often but we will never stay there again. My wife plans to write to KOA about the experience.

Disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathrooms and showers. The park was not busy at all so there should not have been an issue keeping the facilities cleaned. I actually requested the family shower be cleaned and the trash was taken out but nothing else was touched. For the price we paid, I’d expect better. We do annually but considering a new place next year due to cost/value.

Had a lot of fun, our little grandsons had a great time. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We had to do some laundry and I would like to suggest a detergent dispenser machine so we could buy packets of detergent. Thank you for a great time.

We were disappointed with the water outage. This was a huge inconvenience for many campers. Other than that it was a very friendly campground.

I was at the campground for an extended time for work. My stay there was very pleasant, and uneventful. The staff was very helpful, the facilities were all very clean, and there are plenty of amenities if you bring your kids or want to do kids things yourself. They had events on the weekends for entertainment. This isn’t a campground to go party all night, and that’s what I liked!

We paid extra for the patio and because where the sewer, electric & water was located we couldn't get close to the patio. We were at least 6 feet away from the patio. The staff was friendly.

Lovely spot. It was very windy and we were seeing sticks and branches fall around us. The office had closed but the gentleman doing maintenance was still there. He assisted with moving us to a safer site. We could not get the free WiFi code to work but were able to log on after we submitted credit card payment. Even then it continuously shut down and required relogging in.

Great fall weekend! Fun activities, great location, nice staff. FYI: The buddy sites are great (facing each other) but would be awful if it rained - dirt and gravel, no grass!!

Way over priced. The facility is not well taken care of. Sites are very small your on top of each other and the sites are not maintained. For $90 a night I would have expected more activities and options for the kids. The playground equipment is from the 80s and falling apart. They do have a newer jump pad that was nice but that was it. The mini golf was in horrible condition.

I wish we lived closer. This campground had a very cozy vibe with lots of trees. They had buddy sites which I have never seen before, two sites face each other.

We only stayed 1 night due to traveling. Great to have a pull thru site but set up for hook ups was strange. Pricey for 1 night stay.

our visit to the area was to attend OSU/IOWA game, so we did not take full advantage of the parks amenities. my only complaint would be the dump station. you cannot get a good dump when it has to flow uphill, and god forbid you were leaving on a major checkout day, you would probably sit for an hour waiting your turn, and just wanting to drive out would be stuck as there was not a lot of space

Nice and quiet grounds but with lots of things to do if you choose. The lake is great and we enjoyed fishing. Nice hookups and everything was clean! Staff was super friendly and extremely helpful!

Wonderful and very helpful staff! A beautiful location with lots of trees and a great restaurant and new donut shop literally a couple blocks walk away. We have stayed here several times and always enjoyed it. On the weekends they offer a nice breakfast on site. If you have bicycles you can enjoy a pretty ride around most of the lake as well!

The weather was disappointing but the stay was perfect! We enjoyed the quiet time and quiet campground. Everything was clean and I will definitely be back.

Even though it was a very rainy weekend our stay was good. I do have a suggestion-since none of the spots are paved more gravel would be beneficial. With the rain there was quite a bit of mud.

We arrive late so I had to do after hours check-in, which was fine. Appropriate documentation was there. The overall camp is very nice but does need some refreshing. The staff is very friendly. Would stay here again.

I loved this location. During the rainy season, make sure NOT to book sites on the creek. Well.seasoned campers will do well during the rain otherwise. There are plenty of of shelters if the rain gets overwhelming. The activities were an unexpected bonus! This property is situated in a charming lakeside village with a few eateries within walking distance. Perfect for families!

My husband, sister in law and I camped the weekend. It was very nice and relaxing. The manger was very welcoming and friendly. It was clean.
