Beautiful area, friendly people! This being our first year RV-ing it’s been wonderful finding that KOA campgrounds are so accommodating and ready to accept us checking in late and checking out early!

We have stayed at Buckeye Lake KOA a few times. Overall I will rate this location a 4 out of 5. It is quiet, the staff are wonderful and helpful, bathrooms are clean. The reason for the 4 instead of 5 was due to no notification that the pool was closed during our trip and was looking forward to some pool time during our weekend.

The staff was very accommodating. My reservation was changed so I could be closer to my friends. The park was clean and quite.

Loved our spot for the night. Campground was easy to get to and despite the rains, our spot was out of the water danger. They did a great job with happy faces despite the water issues they were facing. Would stay again if in the area.

The weather created some problems for the staff but they handled it perfectly and kept everyone informed so the weekend was still enjoyable. The staff at Buckeye Lake KOA was fabulous.

Had some problems with our camper and our truck, they were very helpful and very willing to work with us as our stay needed to be extended. Due to extended amounts of rain, there was some flooding, which made navigating the parts of the camp difficult.

We always enjoy the KOA @ BUCKEYE LAKE. The staff made the best of the situation . Our full hook up site had a full sewer with all the rain. We didn’t go tell the staff, assumed it was a common problem during flooding. When checking out, I mentioned having to use the dump station and we were conservative all weekend. Staff stated no one reported it. A small refund or credit would be nice.

We stay here often. This past stay was very rainy and we all know we have no control over the weather. That said, when it rains this campground turns into an absolute mud hole. Had to cut the trip short because we couldn’t go outside the camper without standing in 2 inches of sloppy mud. Sites need more gravel. Not built for rain.

Rained a lot and we weren’t there the last night but came back to pick up camper and everything was flooded. Would have been nice to get a text that the water was out of its banks and we should move it sooner. Everyone is very nice and helpful that was my only complaint.

Weather can’t be predicted but the site we were in had no gravel and was pure mud. Maybe invest in some gravel to your site, it would have made the stay much more enjoyable.

The management really needs to get the ground water situation fix and the trees trimed up in the pull through sites. Those of us with full body painted RVs are not interested in having the sides of our paint all scratched up.

our stay was OK but it was just an overnight stay. we were traveling to Michigan and stopped at Buckeye Lake KOA on our way. we experienced heavy rains and part of the campgrounds flooded. the management team was great.

No concerns other than sites are in need of some gravel. I would tell people to stay at the park but would let them know about the possible conditions.

It rained the whole time we were there, which was really disappointing. Dog park was nice. Showers were very nice and clean. We plan to come back again and hopefully the weather will be better.

The staff was very friendly and check in and out was very efficient. The facilities were very clean and up to date. The sites were certainly in the smallish category, but they were good enough. I will go back again.

We came to the Buckeye lake Koa because it is close to home and a good spot to get the camper out for its first run of the season. That isn't the only reason Buckeye Lake Koa is great your right near the water, not far from the state park there, plenty of restaurants you can walk to and the walking path over the dam area is right there to. It is a nice campground to stay at the people are friendly

Right in this cute little lake town. Very nice, well maintained and clean park. The lady checking us in was super nice and sweet, and the spaces are nice and large for motorhomes with tows.

Its getting better!! Still needs some cleaning up and updates done. Broken concrete in patio sites need fixed before someone trips and gets hurt. We always enjoy our stay the desk girls are great when we stayed. Love the changes in the store. Outside just needs work overall we will keep coming and watching the place grow.

Very muddy Lots, picnic tables so old and broken down they were unusable, the most expensive place I've stayed at in a 4000 mile trip. Just goes to prove that supply and demand dictates the price.

We car camped for the night. It looked like a beautiful campground. Our only complaint was the bugs in the rest rooms and showers.

I loved this location. During the rainy season, make sure NOT to book sites on the creek. Well.seasoned campers will do well during the rain otherwise. There are plenty of of shelters if the rain gets overwhelming. The activities were an unexpected bonus! This property is situated in a charming lakeside village with a few eateries within walking distance. Perfect for families!
