We had a great time as always, my only complaint is the emails we received before arriving indicated that the pool was closed for repair so we didn’t bring our swim gear with us.

This was probably the worst experience we have had at at KOA. Mostly dirt site, smelled like sewage, putt putt hadn't been maintained in atleast a year with carpet gone and mosquito/moss infested water, jump pad was full of sand to the point that if your kid jumped it just shot up in the eyes, pool was on and the only thing clean but very basic. This would be better off a journey for expectations

I was awakened by a plumber outside my window at 6:30 am running a gas powered auger down the sewer line. When I was packing up to leave i found my sewer overflowing and running right where I needed to stand to disconnect and pack up. I had to stand in raw sewage. I was told a I would be contacted about my complaint but have yet to hear from anyone. Not a good experience!

Spots are tight. You're right up on each other. The sewer lines backed up. The bugs were crazy bad we thought. Now not all bad. The pool was nice, my kids liked the jump pad and basketball hoop. I will come back next season and give it another chance just in a different spot.

Nice campground, very hot in July (not their fault) The nats were bad. Was only a stop over for our trip down the road. Very level and clean camp sight.

Put me into site next to site where drain had overflowed. Still “stuff” laying on ground. Electrical post went dead during night. Site muddy no maintenance. Only stay here as overnight when going/coming East. Will try to fing alternate now.

We stayed over 4 th of July. Staff was very friendly. Dog friendly campground. There was a sewage issue, but they communicated very well throughout the issue. Would stay again

This campground was disgusting. We paid for a “bigger and longer “ spot but it was cramped. The people next to us utilized the sewer. It was right next to our picnic table and they in fact left the cap on our picnic bench leaving it unusable. Loud vehicles going way too fast. We couldn’t wait to leave.

Great people! Easy directions and they actually answered their phone! I never thought I could get a reservation after 6 but they answered right before 8pm. I was so relieved to be able to camp that night and plug in.

The campground is well shaded and attractive. Unfortunately, the site I was on was in serious need of new gravel. We had I short period of moderate rain and it left both my truck and trailer with a lot of mud splatter. Previously I had been camping on gravel sites with a lot of rain and both the truck and trailer remained clean, so this site needs better upkeep.

First and foremost I heard that ownership has changed hands 3 times this year. We had a full hook up and couldn’t use it, had to use the dump station. Holiday weekend and your store wasn’t open half the time…. Not sure I’ll be back

I realize it was a "buddy" site, but still very narrow and the trees at the end made exiting impossible were it not for the vacant pull through across the way. Our site had a bunch of litter from prior campers and the sewer was so far at the end of the site we couldn't use it. To pull up to use it we wouldn't have been able to extend our slide. Lots of work to do at this campground.

The park manager, Michelle, her husband and staff work SO HARD to make this older park better. The pool was clean and refreshing. The mini golf was great for the family. The HUGE inflatable jumping mat was a blast for the kids. Basketball and inside arcade games. This is heaven for kids and parents alike. Its a park that's getting better and better. I highly recommend Buckete Lake KOA!!!

There were no events during our stay. Our camping site was not level. There wasn’t much to do there other than swim and bike.

Our sewer hookup was backing up along with everyone on our road. Wouldn't offer a refund even though we were full hookup. The putt putt course did not have any grass on it.

I was not impressed by the site 163 that I received as it had a wrought iron table and chairs and a metal fire ring that was too close to the adjoining site, versus the other deluxe pull through sites which had brick type pavers for a fire ring and patio and much more comfortable patio furniture , and slightly wider sites.

The KOA did not meet the standards of a KOA. The sites are incredibly close and the sewer pipe from the neighboring camper was located in the area of our camper: A big turn off. The sewer gushing into the family site was so disgusting. Due to the sewer issues, bathhouses were closed and dumping at our site was not permitted. And for this we paid full price!

I was not as impressed with this KOA as others that we have been to. The playground is not very well maintained. Also they did not have any activities going on even though their Facebook page stated they had several things planned. The pool was also broken the first couple days that we were there.

Wrong site to start was told multiple times what site we had but never once was told there was a “lock in fee” til we arrived an was to late site that we got was the absolute worst spot at the camp ground after some rain complete site was under water not a good stay at all

Staff was good but campground seems to need some utility work/upgrades. Problems with sewer this time paid for a full hook up and still had to stop at dump station on the way out. Suggestion is to widin out the road at dump station so you can pass .

Buddy sites weren’t listed properly on website, activities that were advertised not only didn’t happen but none did, pool falling apart and my kid got cut twice on tiles that had fallen off & was on bottom of pool, full hookup wasn’t full hookup because they had issues both days, 30 mosquito bites in one night, chemicals in pool were also not proper (it was cloudy and burned). Left early.

The campground was ok but seemed a little rundown and not as well taken care of as it used to be. 4:00 p.m. check in is too late and 11:00 a.m. check out is too early when paying $80 a night.

Overall stay was nice. Friendly and helpful staff. Sites were a little closer together than we are used to but enough room for our camper. Plumbing issues occurred campground wide and they worked to get those corrected quickly on a very busy holiday weekend.

The campground is in a good location, close to rt. 70. It has many nicely shaded sites and several dog play areas. It is also walking distance to a great Pizza place with live music, as well as other eating establishments.

Narrow sites. Old partial rotten picnic table, lots of oversized trees. Worst part of the stay was that we traveled all day in 90 plus heat. Wanted to relax and cool off at the pool, but it was closed!! 4 th KOA campground on our travel in the past weeks with an inoperable pool. No compensation offered and during a heat wave!!

Sites were large enough, but muddy with debris that had washed from other sites during a recent storm. Staff was friendly. Area around office was pretty. The pool was broken. Everything was gravel and that made it hard to walk the dogs. There was a dog station available, and other activities for the family.

It was just what we needed for 1 night. I would suggest: #1 - work on your roads which need grading and patching #2 - the jumping pad is extremely noisy and annoying. Most KOA’s now have built in pads which are silent except when kids are there, of course #3 - you need a printed color park map - the photo-copied map is inappropriate for a KOA #4 - office did not know correct WiFi code

The campground is exceptionally well maintained. The showers and toilets are always clean, the camp store is convenient and the management is very accommodating.

We stayed for one night as we were on the road. There are many amenities for kids but the entire campground was in need of attention. The pool was not filled and closed. Several games in the game room were out of order. We had a problem with our water when we first arrived and could not get any one to help. No one answered the phone and messages were not returned. Not impressed at all.

MORE GRAVEL needed at camp sites. Camping is not much fun on a rainy weekend. However, when your campsite is a mud pit due to lack of gravel it's a MESS! Also noticed your pool was not filled. Had it been a sunny weekend, the pool seemed as if it would not have been available. I believe this is a promising campground with some fun features for kids. Just needs some work done.

Buckeye Lake KOA is considered a Holiday KOA charging the higher rates. Most of the sites did not have enough gravel and were very small meaning not much grassy/sitting area. It was muddy hooking up the camper to the truck. The site was level though. The pool was not working. Staff was friendly. I've been to other KOA's which are better than this one.

This is a wonderful place to take the family camping. So much for the kids to do, swimming in the pool, giant inflatable jumping mat, mini golf, game room and more. Great employees working SO hard to make this older park enjoyable for all. We really enjoyed our stay.
