It is a beautiful place only one thing I would like to mention we drove all day were very tired we call at 4:30 booked a spot now realizing we were still 106 miles out we did not get there till 9:30 at night we were looking forward to 2 days of rest at your beautiful peaceful park here to find out we only had one day because even though we got there at 9:30 PM it was considered a full day.

Friendly, helpful staff, great store, clean bathrooms. Easy in & out with rv. Very large campground that has alot of things to do for kids. Only complaint was the tight patio sites. We were as close to our patio as possible & our slide came right to the edge of the other patio. The campers next to us had zero privacy. Still give it a 5 for all other positives.

The water, electric, and sewer connections were at the front edge of the spot by the street. The sewer required a 32' long hose. An employee on a golf cart was no help. Didn't attempt to help us move to an open spot where we could use the hookups we paid for. And there were full Hookup spots left unoccupied all night. I should get a refund for the sewer connection I couldn't use.

Our stay was fine except for the seasonal people that were way to noisy for the people that were trying to rest from and to our long journey. Did not meet the staff because we checked in late.

Staff are nice and attentive . Cafe kitchen is very clean and the food breakfast is delicious. The breakfast staff are pleasant and do a great job. Lots of great activities to keep our granddaughters busy. Great Santa for Christmas in July. He even had gifts for our grandchildren.

Site #162, while easily accessible for a motor home with a car in tow, had too much of a slope for us to properly level our coach. Water did not properly drain when we showered in the morning. Our satellite dish was obstructed by trees so we could not get a signal. Free WiFi is sketchy at best. On a positive note, the campground is very clean with a wonderful dog run we used often!

Nice campground, lots to do, very clean, well maintained grounds and friendly helpful staff staff. Very quiet at night even though it is in town. This was a one night stay for us, I would do it again if we were in the area and get one of their patio sites.

We stopped at the Buckeye/Columbus KOA both to and from our way to West Virginia. Our stats were only for one night, but the location and amenities were excellent. Would definitely stay there again for a longer stay.

Stayed on a patio site which was quite nice. However, the junk 5th wheel sitting right across from my RV door was quite an eyesore and detracted from the park's character. Remove the eyesore and plant some tall shrubbery for privacy from the pizza joint and the road

This campground may not be the best if you have kids as told to me by our neighbor with their 2 grandkids. The bouncy pillow was hardly open during the week and then for 2 hours. Told we could not put down big rugs pads so as to not kill the grass - there was no grass to kill. Mike, the head maintenance guy, was FANTASTIC! He came over and cut several branches that would have damaged my fiver.

Had an excellent stay. The only thing that could improve would be offer activities later in the day/evening and send out text messages for the activities before the activity starts not after. Other than that we really had a nice stay and weill be back.

Each time we stay here we feel it is worse than before. The sites are too close together, there's no grass on a lot of them and unless you want to pay a huge sum, you can't get a site together with a traveling companion. The people that run the place are terrific.

Nice campground if you don’t have kids with you. We had 2 grandsons and none of the blow up toys were set up until Friday from 4-6. We were there Mon-Sat. The store closes at 5 weekdays and 6 on weekends so don’t run out of marshmallows or anything when at your campfire. The facilities are clean and the pool is very nice. The pool is open all the time which helped entertain our guys.

I needed the 110 plug outlet since my camper don't take 30amp. But it did not work luckily I had a nice neighbor to plug into. These should really be checked at all sites cause this was the second time in 2 days the 110 outlets didn't work.

Nice, well maintained campground. Good amenities Utilities are solid except we never could make the cable work. Would definitely stay again.

I had reservation in May. I called to cancel after a family member passed. I called all day within the time frame per your policy. I left 2 voicemails. I received a call saying that because it was not with the time frame, your fault for not answering, I would not be refunded and had to reschedule. Very very wrong. Your people there are scammers

Very nice campground, clean and kept up. My only complaint would be they no longer offer escort to your site. That is one thing that I always appreciated about koa.

Great place all around with lots to do at campground and surrounding area. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the flys in the day and mosquitoes at night.

I've stayed across the country visiting national parks for seven years am a KOA member most of the time. This KOA is among if not the best I've ever visited. Cleanest by far not a cigarette butt in the fire places no litter everything in excellent condition. Staff is professional and courteous to a fault.

Rented a tent site and the managers and employees were super helpful and very nice. Great location for Buckeye Lake activities.

We were early season guests during a week with very strong spring weather. The camp hosts were awesome and worked tirelessly to keep us and all of the other guests happy, comfortable and taken care of. The campsite itself is right in the heart of Buckeye Lake with super easy access to local restaurants, the lakefront and convenience stores.
