Short overnight, poorly located utilities for travel trailer, has been the same for years. Bathrooms that we’re working were clean.

Overall we really liked this KOA. We understand there are new owners working to make improvements. Hopefully one is a better hot water system to the showers next to the office…ran out 2 or 3 times. But even so, we will be back!

It wasn't terrible but it's definitely not a top KOA. Its easy to get too, check in was smooth and staff was friendly. The sites are close and ours was not even close to level. Looks like a lot of long term tenants with some pretty rough and run down rv's. Good shade in many areas. Im not saying to avoid this KOA, just not the level you would expect.

Limited kids activities. All they had was the pool, game room and playground and they charged me 5 dollars a child and no kids activities. This was one of the reason why I chose KOA

Our stay at this KOA SUCKED.On arrival at our site,a mud pit,lady escorting us said we were assigned this spot so we were stuck.Told her to move us to 1 of 5 open spots that were dry and she never said another word.Friends were parked in 6”water.Escort lady lied to friend that we never asked to move.Manager lied next morning to us.Terrible service and will never go to this KOA again PLACE SUCKS!

premium site a mud pit/standing water. Last rain recorded with weather service 7/20 11:00, we arrived on Tues afternoon. Mgr and staff lack professionalism & communication. Staff made multiple false statements, I.e. manager stated she was unaware of our complaint re campsite, staff stated they advised mgr of our concerns, mgr stated all sites were no shows however they were avail the day before

Office staff not very friendly. We arrived about 45 minutes “early” and were admonished for that, even after making a phone call to ask if was ok (we were told “sure!”). This is a huge property that needs work. Most of the seasonal/full-timer’s sites are messy. Signs everywhere warning that violations could result in ejection w/o a refund. Just not a welcoming place.

Campsites are very close for the overnight stay campers. There was more mud than gravel at the site. Not just our site.

A very nice camp area with the nicest folks working there. They were friendly and helpful. There are restaurants within walking distance and a delicious coffee and donut shop. I would absolutely recommend staying there.

Short distance fm Interstate, quiet town, well maintained RV Park! I did have trouble finding the location of the Park’s dumpster on their map! Never did!

Check in was easy unfortunately due to a large amount of rain and lack of proper topography maintenance and drainage. Much of the campground was a muddy flooded mess. The office and camp store closed unusually early being 6 PM and would actually close prior to that the event scheduled for the weekend were poorly hosted. The location approximation to the actual buckeye Lake is a major plus.

The staff were wonderful, from the woman working at check in to the various staff who I saw on the grounds. The grounds however, left a lot to be desired! The RV section sites were so close together I could hear my neighbor snoring. There was no grass, only muddy gravel. I won’t stay there in a RV again. All sites were horrible ball, even the tent sites along the edge of the woods were too close

As we entered the campground at 915pm 10 teenagers were standing in the road and didnt move for several minutes to let thru. 1 of them grabbed his crotch and just stared at us. There was a group of about 40 people staying in cabins actress from us that were very loud and were at their cars in the road until 1am. I tried to contact management several times no response. Called and emailed corporate.

This was a fairly nice campground. The sites were well kept. The only reason I rated a 3 was because the roadways had deep ruts and needed more stone. The wifi signal was very weak and the bounce pad was not up the entire time we were there. The sites were mowed and very clean

We didn’t get to visit the pool because of all the rain. But we usually stay at Buckeye KOA every year from our return from our NC beach trip and our KY bourbon tour. Great place to stay for a night or two. See you next year hopefully.

This is the worst excuse for a KOA we have ever stayed at.We are full-time RVers and I've stayed at literally dozens and dozens of KOA's and this is by far the worst.There's a total lack of care at this place as your premium pull through sites are nothing but a swampy mess.I get you can't control the weather but grading and gravel would make this drain properly and not be unsafe.This has been goin

The Buckeye lake KOA need. Somethere camp sites are full of water very low need. A lot of work, the road is full of water. We could not even get into the site. The woman gave us because it was so muddy. This. Campground is not suitable to be A Koa away of any kind. I would. Recommand that this can't round. Have it OA establishment taken away.

We came to the campground and our site was very muddy. Felicia was very friendly and switched our site to one that made our stay very pleasant. The campground is well maintained and managed. Would recommend this stop over to all!

Customer service was poor. Very rude. Paid extra for the child activities. No child activities available as they did not have staff (their excuse), activities are only available on Friday and Saturday. Wood was not available to purchase. The lot was nice.

This might have been the worst KOA we have ever stayed at. The person at check-in was great, however, the store on Monday closed at 4:00 and so did the pool. The pull through with Patio site ($110) was so muddy from the earlier rain that I got stuck and it smelled like sewage everywhere. This KOA needs some work for sure. Most of the sites were basically underwater. I will not camp here again.

The staff were pleasant and informative. After a couple brief but hard rain the roads were pretty much a river, that turns into a pond. A fair weather campground no doubt.

We were very disappointed in the conditions of the park overall and our campsite was not anywhere I would choose to be. We were unknowingly assigned a "buddy" site which is the most uncomfortable camping experience you could have. We are new to the camping world and being in close proximity to strangers was NOT a good first-time experience. We will NOT be returning to Buckeye Lake KOA. (MuchMore)

Campground was fine but must be under new ownership. This was our 4th year and I missed the breakfasts provided on the weekends and the miscellaneous texts throughout the day advising of the many activities going on. There were none this time. Hopefully will be better next year.

Online reservations and site chosen. Yet the site chosen was occupied by another camper. We were given a site without sewer due to Power outage was given even though our site selected was still taken. The power outage didn’t stop the rest of the camp fill up. Felt wronged at that point.

The cabin we stayed in was great. The campground itself could use some “help” with drainage during rain as it was quite difficult to let our kids out to play with all the mud and large puddles all over, some campsites were completely under water.The office, while everyone was very nice, was not on the same page at all when it came to my having guests for a party and payment that came with that

Morning of check got a call in asking if we were in our spot already. A camper was there and they couldnt get ahold of them. We put at a lesser site and had to tear down/move. 5 phone calls. Asked how they were going to make it right and they offered 10% = $24. She kept telling me $50 off however that included my KOA rewards that I pay for. Asked for a bundle of firewood , told no. Never return

This is our second stay and will sadly be our last. It began with myself and my daughter’s family booking buddy sites with full hookup. The older woman was nasty to our daughter about her pets, and there was a constant “patrol “ during the entire stay . Then additionally we paid top dollar for 2 sites that were nothing but mud and rocks and was a pond after the rain. An 11:15 pull out = $20

I loved this location. During the rainy season, make sure NOT to book sites on the creek. Well.seasoned campers will do well during the rain otherwise. There are plenty of of shelters if the rain gets overwhelming. The activities were an unexpected bonus! This property is situated in a charming lakeside village with a few eateries within walking distance. Perfect for families!
