Well kept campground despite heavy rains. Lots to do close by as well as in the campground.

Great camp spot bathrooms and showers were clean. Everyone from check in to workers were friendly and helpful.

I've stayed at numerous KOA's but this one was the worst experience. The sewer systems were backed up in the majority of the sites to the point of overflowing onto the ground. My site was so bad it was backing up out of the sewer in the ground into my sewer hose. Once disconnected sewage kept spewing out of the ground and wouldn't stop. Front desk didn't help, just mentioned were having issues

The smell of sewage was disgusting. It was impossible to sit outside and enjoy the evening. There were several areas that had this smell. The cap on the septic at site 325 was screwed on so tight, it was impossible to unscrew it. I dumped at the dump station on the way out. The office did not open at 9am, I wanted to talk to someone and waited until 9:10 but had to leave. I will not be back!

We stayed in a Studio Cabin and it was FANTASTIC! It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was the best night sleep we had had in a week. The staff was friendly and knowledge and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for a month, however, constantly had text messages. That plumbing was getting turned off. Electricity was getting turned off tax were there to work on things and locations were not available. The pool was closed. It was almost a daily occurrence.

The first night that we were there at about sunset a side by side ATV with an altered exhaust started driving very fast around the campground and the highway in front of the campground. No regard for pedestrians or children. The way he was reving his engine he was obviously trying to be a nuisance. This went on for more than an hour.

We stayed for 2 nights on a weekend. We found the campground and amenities clean and upkept well. KOA staff was polite and took care of our needs. Some of the other campers brought their obnoxious golf carts and ATVs and were driving through the campground on both nights as though they were in a parade. This did take place before quiet hours, but I still feel ATVs should be limited.

They were supposed to have events but never said anything about them when I arrived. The whole atmosphere was off compared to years before. Had some issues with a person who thought taking their side by side around the campground late made it hard to sleep. I feel they are letting things slide making it not a family friendly campground, I don’t know if I will be back again or not.

Had a great time here. We are Full time RVers but decided to leave the RV at our seasonal site and ride our motorcycle down. We have been to several KOAs and yours is definitely in our top five. Cleaned and plenty of things to do. Our only complaint would be the ATV side by side running around and the smell of people smoking weed. Children don't need to smell that. Otherwise it was good thanks.

We stayed 6 nights to attend a conference in Columbus. The pull through patio site was nice. It came with a glider rocker, patio chairs/ table, grill, and fire ring. Restrooms were always clean. Laundry room was clean ($3.50 total per load). Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We plan on coming back just to stay at the lake. It’s only 3 miles off the Interstate for overnight stays.

Unable to enjoy assigned site due to “plumbing/sewer problems”. Reassigned Site next to entrance. Much traffic. Very noisy site. A unmuffled quad vehicle was unbearable but did stop before 11 pm. More of a Journey location.

EASY CHECK-IN. CALLED IN ADVANCE TO CHECK SITE AVAILABILITY WITH REQUESTED PULL THRU SITE BEING AVAILABLE. WARM RECEPTION UPON ARIVAL WITH FRIENDLY STAFF. SITE WAS LEVEL AND REQUIRED NO CAMPER ADJUSTMENT MAKIN ARRIVAL QUITE EASY.

Bad weather (not KOA’s fault). Not good WiFi or TV reception. Decently level sites. Water pressure spotty. Buckeye Lake area very pleasant.

Campground needs maintenance/upkeep. Sites 318 to 327 are supposed to be satellite friendly. At this point trees have grown so large that only about four sites in the area are satellite friendly. Satellite TV needs to point southwest; now blocked by trees. Trees now scratch the side of any unit pulling into sites. Sewer pipes are too tall & affect draining; need to be flush with ground.

We had a great time, even with a thunderstorm. Easy check in, someone drove to the tent sites with us and delivered our wood. Restrooms were cleaned regularly. Lots of shade by the tent sites, and very close to the restrooms.

We stayed on pull-through site #326 2 nights with our 40' MH pulling a 15' cargo trailer. Site was level, and long enough for us. We enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the lake. What needs some attention IMHO are tree pruning and pot hole filling. The low Pin Oak branch at the Entrance/Exit drug our roof twice, and the Bradford Pear branches at our site also touched the side of the coach.

Great location directly adjacent to Buckeye Lake. Walking distance to Dockside donuts, cottage pizza and the bike trail, excellent central location to easily explore all the lake has to offer.

Excellent Visit -- as always. Buckeye Lake KOA is our preferred stay when we're passing through (heading West or North), but this time we added an extra night to enjoy ourselves here (we're learning). Great facilities and a friendly, helpful Staff makes for a great Destination!

We had a great time as always, my only complaint is the emails we received before arriving indicated that the pool was closed for repair so we didn’t bring our swim gear with us.

The quality of this campground is poor in comparison to other KOAS. I stayed there for 2 nights. The bathrooms attached to the office were not cleaned the whole time I was there. The campground as a whole appeared tired and worn out. The sites were too close together too. The camping cabin I stayed in was clean and in working order as was the pool which has been reopened. I will not be returning.

This was probably the worst experience we have had at at KOA. Mostly dirt site, smelled like sewage, putt putt hadn't been maintained in atleast a year with carpet gone and mosquito/moss infested water, jump pad was full of sand to the point that if your kid jumped it just shot up in the eyes, pool was on and the only thing clean but very basic. This would be better off a journey for expectations

I was awakened by a plumber outside my window at 6:30 am running a gas powered auger down the sewer line. When I was packing up to leave i found my sewer overflowing and running right where I needed to stand to disconnect and pack up. I had to stand in raw sewage. I was told a I would be contacted about my complaint but have yet to hear from anyone. Not a good experience!

Spots are tight. You're right up on each other. The sewer lines backed up. The bugs were crazy bad we thought. Now not all bad. The pool was nice, my kids liked the jump pad and basketball hoop. I will come back next season and give it another chance just in a different spot.

The showers had human long hair strands all over it, the other showers had muddy everywhere. The light didn't stand on and it went out after I was all soaked up and couldn't see to do my ronce off. Horrible driveways filled with mud puddles. Will not recommend to anyone I know.

Nice campground, very hot in July (not their fault) The nats were bad. Was only a stop over for our trip down the road. Very level and clean camp sight.

Everything and everyone was really great. It was convenient to the lake and eateries. The amenities was awesome, swimming, volleyball all fun. Dog park was great. The only complaint is the shower water pressure was awful. I think the shower head just needed replaced.

Very clean and friendly staff. Was here for Halloween weekend. The did a great job treating the kids. The bouncy pad was great for the kids
