Very expensive for a one night stay . No amenities wanted or used. Consider reduced rate for a single night. There is no where in area for folks just passing through at a decent rate. Would engender good publcity.The flooding was beyond your control.

quick on and off the interstate. Attentive staff. Easy drive through sites. Staff offered to trim up a tree that would have caused problems with our rear slide.

Half of park was flooded. Understand can’t control weather but we could not have a basic site. Had to pay more and then could not hook up sewer because pipe was ankle deep in water for 3 feet around it. So we paid $99 for water and electric. A reputable campground would have at least discounted by 25-30%. The usable sites were not all taken. VERY disappointing and will not stay here again.

It was very enjoyable. The cabin was clean and nice and cool when we got there. The bathrooms were extremely clean and the air conditioning was amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it. I highly recommend.

Stayed 2 nights and loved it. It was so nice to be escorted to the site and have staff stay to offer any assistance needed. I will definitely be back!

Convenient location. Site was nice, but alittle close. Water, sewer and electric we had no issues. Courteous staff.

Meet Shelly & her fiancé, was super nice people & hard workers. Really think needs some security later in the night, just happened to be outside at midnight white van pulled about 7 kids jump out started throwing rocks at metal building & trying to get in the pool.

All of the staff were great and were very friendly and sincere. Our cabin was clean and well maintained. We had a great stay!

Usually have no problems but this time arrived at 5:10, office was closing. So we got our info from the overnight slot. When we got to our spot (311) someone else was camped there and there was no one to help us! On paper said office was open to 6:00! We just parked in the spot next to 311 and hoped no one would be booked for that spot.

The owners of this campground should be ashamed. 3 managers in 3 yrs. And the employees that work the hardest to attempt to make this park look good have all been fired. They talk about customer service yet they do not treat their employees well at all Respect for workers was lost with the newest manager. And the lies they tell are amazing. If they would dredge the creek it may stop the floods

Everything was great except we did not know the tvs did not work. It rained so we would have liked to watch a movie. And we were used to the breakfast in the Pavillion. All else great. We will be back!

Ery nice place- but very expensive. $80 for 1 night. If you consider the gas used to get there with a big trailer- it’s the same cost as a cheaper hotel.

1 night, poured with thunder and lightning all night and the next morning… but we like that , however we really didn’t get a chance to enjoy the amenities… maybe next time! GPS took us to Buckeye lake …

I really enjoyed our stay! We rented a deluxe cabin and it was super clean and had everything that we needed and we went in August and the ACs worked really well which we appreciate appreciated. The campground itself was super clean and had some fun things for the kids to do which we also really appreciate appreciated!

We are always pleased when we stay at Buckeye Lake KOA. Everyone is so friendly and nice. The only thing we were a little disappointed in was there were no extra activities for the families. Last time we stayed, we made tie-dye shirts and they had lots of extra things going on.

I have stayed in many KOAs but this was a terrible experience. I should have taken the other negative reviews more seriously. It started with finding out at check in there would be no tv, no WiFi and no discount for the inconvenience. I had to buy a $40 dvd player from a Walmart 20 mins away. Then no hot water just an icy shower to end the day. No follow up on my complaint, just thanks for coming.

I just found out from my daughter that the cabin they were in had carpenter ants that crawled on them while they were sleeping and that they were all over the cabin. Because she arrived late and checked out early, I never knew about the issue. Our Rv site was good, the people were nice, but I would have requested a refund of the cabin had I known about the ants. I can’t believe you rented it out

Our lot was all rocks mixed with very little pieces of grass and in the game room half the machines didn’t work The driveway like conditions of our whole lot was very uncomfortable and when it rained it turned to mud so disappointing we will not be back unless or until that is corrected such a shame it was such a nice place years ago

Other KOA's we stayed at were more welcoming upon check-in. Site was ok, laundry (2 washers out of order) & baths were clean. There were signs of needing some TLC, but over all, was ok. Enjoyed the surrounding area including Buckeye Lake.

The staff was absolutely amazing and helpful in many ways. We were given a spot with zero grass and not even enough space for our tent and car. The staff was able to switch us with no problems. There was a constant lingering smell though from possibly the dump station though. Just some FYIs- The fire pits didn't have a grate to cook food. The bathrooms/showers are closed from 9am to 12pm.

Quick overnight stay, but staff was friendly, site was nice and clean, and worked perfect. Only thing I would recommend is maybe widening the exit by the dump station. Not everyone uses common sense when approaching and blocks the exit. ended up sitting for about 15 minutes while someone emptied their tank.

We stayed in cabin K12. in the years past we have stayed in a cabin. When we arrived we did not know they moved all the cabins to the area, which was the rustic camping area. We felt secluded in area we could not interact with fellow campers or see our vehicles Not sure if the KOA camp got caught off guard due to the Mopar nationals date change. Actually, we're very disappointed with the cabin. We left a day early I'm pretty sure the cabin didn't get clean before we were there because when I swept, a lot of dirt and mice poop and was mice poop in the drawer. we mentioned about the water pressure. was told it was fine but you had to pretty much stand against the water handle to get enough water to wash . boxspring was discolored mattress?

We really enjoyed our stay, however the septic is not working. The staff were amazing in letting us know, and we were able to stay without it. Great proximity to many activities and restaurants on the lake.

No water when we arrived, finally got water about 2 hours later; strong sewer smell all weekend; sites across from us could not use their sewer. And the sewer line we tried to dump in on our site was overflowing when we went to leave. Here’s a suggestion: if your infrastructure can’t handle your capacity, don’t fill to capacity until it’s properly repaired. Paid for full hookup. Will not r

It was disappointing that the shower house and bathroom at the back of the property were shut down. Very inconvenient to have to walk up front in the middle of the night to use restroom. The putt putt corse was disappointing also. No turf just concrete. Nothing on the website said anything about this

It wasn’t terrible, the water situation wasn’t the greatest and the bathrooms/showers were a little dirty. But also we understand that the park had a lot of guests for the weekend.

Love staying at this koa. One of the best I have stayed at. Everything is offered. Food, supplies, pool, jump pad, plenty of showers.

Bath houses were broken, sewers broken and two of 3 washers were broken. Not a secure, safe feeling. Staff was nice.

Very clean and friendly staff. Was here for Halloween weekend. The did a great job treating the kids. The bouncy pad was great for the kids
