The campground is in a good location, close to rt. 70. It has many nicely shaded sites and several dog play areas. It is also walking distance to a great Pizza place with live music, as well as other eating establishments.

Narrow sites. Old partial rotten picnic table, lots of oversized trees. Worst part of the stay was that we traveled all day in 90 plus heat. Wanted to relax and cool off at the pool, but it was closed!! 4 th KOA campground on our travel in the past weeks with an inoperable pool. No compensation offered and during a heat wave!!

Sites were large enough, but muddy with debris that had washed from other sites during a recent storm. Staff was friendly. Area around office was pretty. The pool was broken. Everything was gravel and that made it hard to walk the dogs. There was a dog station available, and other activities for the family.

It was just what we needed for 1 night. I would suggest: #1 - work on your roads which need grading and patching #2 - the jumping pad is extremely noisy and annoying. Most KOA’s now have built in pads which are silent except when kids are there, of course #3 - you need a printed color park map - the photo-copied map is inappropriate for a KOA #4 - office did not know correct WiFi code

The campground is exceptionally well maintained. The showers and toilets are always clean, the camp store is convenient and the management is very accommodating.

We stayed for one night as we were on the road. There are many amenities for kids but the entire campground was in need of attention. The pool was not filled and closed. Several games in the game room were out of order. We had a problem with our water when we first arrived and could not get any one to help. No one answered the phone and messages were not returned. Not impressed at all.

MORE GRAVEL needed at camp sites. Camping is not much fun on a rainy weekend. However, when your campsite is a mud pit due to lack of gravel it's a MESS! Also noticed your pool was not filled. Had it been a sunny weekend, the pool seemed as if it would not have been available. I believe this is a promising campground with some fun features for kids. Just needs some work done.

Buckeye Lake KOA is considered a Holiday KOA charging the higher rates. Most of the sites did not have enough gravel and were very small meaning not much grassy/sitting area. It was muddy hooking up the camper to the truck. The site was level though. The pool was not working. Staff was friendly. I've been to other KOA's which are better than this one.

Our stay was short and wet. That is not a criticism but a comment on our available time and the weather. We found the campground clean and neat. The Campground Staff warm and friendly. We will stop here again when our travels lead us back. One note watch for the DEER they are plentiful.

This was by far the worst KOA on our 17 day trip. It started right from check in when the lady at the front desk was rude and acted like our arrival was an inconvenience to her. There was one nice lady in the office when we went in later, but we once again got the rude lady the next morning. Also, people driving way too fast in the campground, playing loud music, and shooting fireworks.

We have stayed here twice. Not very impressed. Campsites are too close together. The site 2 from us had a sewer line backup. The pool was down for maintenance. There is a purple bus at one of the front spots that makes the campground look trashy. Probably won’t come back.

Stayed there one night on our way home. Pros - location and employee at front Cons - numerous potholes/very muddy, no gravel. WiFi did not work. Water and electric connections were at front of site (after I disconnected I had to reconnect for 2’), unusual smell, road noise, mini golf/jump pad were run down, pool closed for a year(overall grounds are poor), no kids activities, not worth $90/n

The pool was closed, the sewers backed up we were on a buddy site and the park was empty and they put someone next to us, the people pulled in and went up to office to change sites because they didn’t want to stay there either. We asked earlier to put them somewhere else but they didn’t. The bathrooms were dirty. Very disappointed because we have stayed in past and everything was great.

Great people and awesome facilities. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the ventilation system in the showers and restrooms near space 318.

passing through to check out the lake. you were about the only campgrounds in the aera.i have noted this about a lot of KOAs. that way they can set there price. the stay was nice, but so is most campgrounds. we found some stuff that needs fixed. most showers had slick floors. this a lawsuit ready to happen. found a handycap chair bent up legs, showers not cleaned daily,bad electric hook ups,

We were in site 237 and the 50 amp hookup voltage was low/high and our watchdog would not send power to our coach. We had to hookup to 30 amp and had to limit our appliance usage.

Paid $120 for the night, WiFi wasn’t working, pool Was closed. Gift shop had kids sized tshirts and men’s 2x, nothing in between

4 night stay to visit friends in the area. Crowded, not well maintained, junky long term resident trailers (including a crappy purple bus on a site at the entrance), smoke from fires so bad we could hardly breathe, quiet hours not enforced. Another example of a far-degraded KOA. Will never return.

I feel the sites were too close to each other. Also it was very upsetting that the pool was closed. That’s one of the reasons we went there. A refund of some sort is in order.

The stay wasn’t very enjoyable, the pool was broken, the putt putt course was not running, the gem mining never ran, and wasn’t much for kids to do. Very disappointing.

Sh!t hole! Very run-down. They claim 'close to the highway, but you can't hear it.' Not true, you can hear the highway. Pool broken. The Putt Putt course is broken. Tent sites are next to a swamp full of mosquitoes. The office smells like cat pee. A long walk to the shower house that wasn't clean.

The pool was closed again. Second year in a row we’ve come and it’s been closed. Discount should have been applied. I was not told when booking my reservation. Store closes at 6 which is way too early. Paying $263 for one night for a cabin is ridiculous

Arrived late and left early so did not personally interact with anyone. Easy to find campground and pick up night registration. Basic cabin overpriced. Parking in rear of cabin inconvenient, especially in the dark.

The personnel were very quick to get us going out of the office on check in. No guidance other than map. Short pull through. Close to neighbors. Electric tripped three times right away. Did replace fuse it worked. Then the sewer was full and bubbling onto neighbors lot. Noon responded from office

My wife and I are in our 70's and don't use your amenities however they look wonderful and the convenience to everything is great. Your campground is kept clean. I appreciate the military discount. There is a bush that needs trimmed along the front fence. It makes it difficult to see the traffic coming from the left when exiting your campground. See you next time we're in town...

Stayed 6/18: site 6. It was tight where we were but no issues getting our rig into or out of the site. Didn't use any of the amenities but we did like all the large, mature trees in our area. Lots of shade throughout the day.

This is a wonderful place to take the family camping. So much for the kids to do, swimming in the pool, giant inflatable jumping mat, mini golf, game room and more. Great employees working SO hard to make this older park enjoyable for all. We really enjoyed our stay.
