Camp ground was very clean. Check in crew and escort was great. Very easy to get pretty much any camper or RV in and out. We had a full hook up spot with our group. Hook ups were in great shape.

My wife and I needed a campground in a pinch, for a Friday night after leaving another campground that we did not feel comfortable in. The staff and facilities were nice. However, the price paid for the site is an absolute ripoff. Campers were packed in like sardines! You have no privacy here! I knew the reviews we so-so, but we did not have a choice. Most likely I would not return here.

The location was great and we enjoyed the Halloween activities. There was plenty for the kids to do! On the downside, there is a big burn pile with some large trash right near the primitive site where we stayed. The flood lights from the bathouse shone right on our tent all night, making it hard to sleep.

Stayed next to the seasonal guests who were very noisy and ignored the quiet time (noisy until after 12:00 midnight). Site was extremely small for the price we paid (the Saturday night 10/22/2022 and Friday night 10/28/2022 were both $97.00). These were the nights the seasonal guests were very noisy.

Great campground. Reservations were very easy to make and the staff is awesome!! I’ve stayed here a number of times over the years and never had a bad experience.

Have stayed here before but this time around ended up with a site that barely fit my unit. Thought I had reserved a deluxe site but according to clerk that is not what I received. Will hesitate staying here in the future. Very tight sight between sites.

Very nice campground. We were just there for one night so we didn’t get to enjoy all the amenities they offer. Easy to get into and out of. Everyone was very kind.

Site was spacious and really quiet. Might be worth checking clearance on the entrance for low branches as one hit the rear ac unit on our fifth wheel.

Very nice grounds and well staffed. The bathrooms were well maintained and clean! The kid’s entertainment was a little lacking. The playground was dated and so was the putt putt. I thought there would have been more events for the Halloween themed weekend.

Out of all the sites we have stayed, I felt the safest at Buckeye Lake KOA! I have an active 3 year old and I was never worried about his safety.. The staff was always visible and easy to find if we needed anything. The restrooms were extremely well maintained and clean. The campsite was well lit. The ability to rent golf carts limited the amount of cars driving through. We felt very safe!

Very disappointing. Halloween weekend had practically no activities for children. Hayride had been canceled. DJ had been canceled. We were told it was due to Covid, but we got the impression it was due to not wanting to spend money on the campers. Campground looked shabby, needed fresh paint. Arcade room had problems with taking money without giving a game. Will not return.

We never advertised there would be a DJ or a hay wagon ride. If we are made aware of an issue in the game room we always take care of the guest. Our guests enjoyed pumpkin decorating, trick or treating, costume contest plus all our activity ammenties we advertise were open

Sites were nice and bathrooms were great. Staff on the other hand were not very pleasant. No "problems" per se, just that they never really smiled nor acted like they were happy that anyone was there. Walked through the gift shop area and when paying, seemed to be treated as a "bother", rather than thankful. Only pleasant staff member encountered was the one collecting garbage!

The campground was nice and our stay was enjoyable. I found the cost for a full hookup site expensive. Our campsite was small, and our neighbors sewer hookup was feet from our picnic table.

Check in was easy. Spot was level. Folks friendly. Good service and follow up on propane request at departure. Nicely wooded. Laundry room was in dire need of a cleanup.

Sorry I can't say oneway or another as I just pulled in for the night. Hooked up the electric, got a good nights sleep and up and out early. Looked like a nice area...................nice office personnel.

Only did an overnight of pull thru W/E-and didn't unhitch the trailer. Only utilized the shower house. Site was flat enough and the shower house was clean.

Well kept campgrounds. Love there are 2 dog parks, many cabins, and accommodated our request to be close to our son. But be prepared, if you have visitors, to pay $6.00 per person.

What a great family campground! Awesome hosts. Very clean and well maintained. It was fun walking the dog through the campground and seeing all the Halloween decorations.

I've stayed across the country visiting national parks for seven years am a KOA member most of the time. This KOA is among if not the best I've ever visited. Cleanest by far not a cigarette butt in the fire places no litter everything in excellent condition. Staff is professional and courteous to a fault.

Rented a tent site and the managers and employees were super helpful and very nice. Great location for Buckeye Lake activities.

We were early season guests during a week with very strong spring weather. The camp hosts were awesome and worked tirelessly to keep us and all of the other guests happy, comfortable and taken care of. The campsite itself is right in the heart of Buckeye Lake with super easy access to local restaurants, the lakefront and convenience stores.
