It was my first time to visit this KOA but it is very impressive. This place is full of fresh air, sound of tree and silence of mountains. Sky is clear enough to reach stats. I would definitely visit this place again, when I am exhausted by my daily stress. This is one of my favorite places.

We were there for 2 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The owner greeted us and showed us around and then took us to our campsite. It was quiet and peaceful and the dog pen at the space was perfect for our dogs. The trails were great and we explored as much as we could in the short time. After spending a week at a busy and very full RV park, this KOA was a breath of fresh air!

A hidden gem! Quiet, peaceful, clean, friendly. An abundance of amenities. I love all the animals and country atmosphere. I'd rate it 20 out of 10!!

The friendly staff helped make our two night stay very pleasant. The camp was clean and well spaced and the grandkids had a great experience, particularly on the playground and the Zip Line. We will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful we only stayed 4 nights �� park is beautiful, clean people at front desk (excellent customer service) we will definitely come back. Only one thing Signs �KOA is known for their BIG Yellow signs. Thank you Ladies and Gents. God willing will see you soooooooon Muchas gracias

We were only able to stay one night but it was very enjoyable. The staff went out of their way for us and they were very nice people. The campground was clean and it felt like we were camping in the woods. It was a nice stay!

Recommended if you’re in the area! It’s a nice, quiet place to stay. Very helpful and friendly staff. There are several interesting places to see in nearby Campo. The only thing we noticed was the low water pressure during our entire stay ( about 20psi). But it was fine and didn’t cause any real issues. And it’s a lot better than too much pressure….

The people who run this campground are some of the nicest people I have met! We were there during a California Winter storm so the weather did not cooperate but this campground is in a very beautiful area of Cleveland National Forest and would be a lovely escape from the city of San Diego.

Very friendly staff, called me by name from day one. Owner on site and willing to chat with his guests. Nice large large dog and small dog park. Had a great time !

Beautiful campground, great dog park split in 2 sections. The owner Jai was very nice when we arrived and even allowed us to choose our own spot in the same area without adding a fee. The labyrinth was very peaceful to walk and the animals were adorable. We will definitely be back. Oh, the water pressure is low, that was the only negative thing.

Very bad surprise the quality of this KOA Campground. Very, very expensive for notting at all. For a month, over 1200 US $$, my evaluation for a month is under 500 $$ max if I compare with others KOA Campground. This year, it was the 4th one so, I have a good experience of KOA.

I lived at this AMAZING koa for abouy a month as we were opening up the brand new yoga center, Vikara Center, that is now attached to the KOA. This was one of the most transformational months of my life. All the staff at the koa is so kind and helpful. The koa is clean, has amazing amenities and wonderful animals! And now you can get some amazing yoga and wellness experiences there too. :)

We stayed at site 12, was wonderful with the extra dog pen area, we used our gates and wrapped it around to that area and all we had to do was open the door and the dogs had their place to play, etc. Only thing we were not aware of is there was no dump station, but there is a rest stop going east on interstate 8 that has a free one. So was it a big deal. Did enjoy seeing the livestock.

From the moment we drove in till the moment we left, we were treated like family. Dolly, Karen & Briana were so friendly and helpful. The park is very clean & peaceful with lots of large trees for shade. We stayed in the RV site with a private kennel, which was so nice to have. My daughters favorite were the pigs and all the other animals they have on the property and the zip line. We'll be back!

Quiet and relaxing! The staff was very very nice and extremely attentive. The weekend we visited they offered locally made tamales and breakfast burritos for purchase as well!

Very calm and relaxing campground. Staff were very nice and helpful. Our children had a blast swimming, zipline, biking, petting the ostriches, llamas, pigs, chickens, cows... have already recommended it to others and plan to make more trips.

The location of this KOA is beautiful. The layout made for a nice evening walk. The pool is closed until April 15. The night sky is breathtaking with no light pollution. I recommend you walk over to the labyrinth to star gaze. We went on a light traffic night and there was no noise aside from the wilderness. The staff was so kind and welcoming. Jacob and Rob went out of their way to make us feel welcome and answer all of our questions. It is very apparent that they love what they do. It really shows. Great hospitality. We stayed for one night in the bunk house. The bunk house has four sets of bunk beds (eight beds total). There are also lights, a ceiling fan, a standalone heater, a rocking chair, and a small table. Outside, the house has a dedicated fire pit and two picnic benches. This arrangement was perfect for our party. There is only one bunk house on the campground. There is a laundry room, bathrooms with flushing toilets and showers, and a rec room with a stove, microwave, and a fridge. I saved the best part for last: the animals! They are acquiring more animals for the ranch but at the moment (April 2024), they have ostriches, horses, goats, donkey, a cow, chickens, a peacock, and a llama. I can't forget the Vietnamese pot-bellied piggies, Sage and Pepper, by reception! The animals set this campground apart from others and is what makes it so special. 10/10 would visit again!

Beautiful well maintained koa. Off the beaten path, a bit of a trek, but worth it. Peaceful and quiet, very different then a lot of KOAs. You actually feel like you are camping. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of fun for the kiddos.
