Beech Mountain
America 250 festivities continue at Beech Mountain with holiday weekend events, live music, outdoor recreation, and spectacular mountain views. Visitors can celebrate America's birthday while enjoying one of the highest towns east of the Rocky Mountains. Event schedules will be announced throughout the year.
Many visitors choose to celebrate throughout the region by spending the morning at the Blowing Rock parade, exploring West Jefferson in the afternoon, and ending the day with fireworks in Boone or at Tweetsie Railroad. With Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, Beech Mountain, Banner Elk, and Jefferson all within a short drive of one another, the High Country offers one of North Carolina's most scenic and memorable ways to celebrate America's 250th anniversary.
