Local Area Recreation Near Benson KOA Journey

Benson KOA is a central location to explore most of Southern Arizona.  Tombstone and Bisbee are just a short drive south of Benson.  If you would like to do some bird watching, we are close to the San Pedro Riparian Conservation area.  There is also fishing and boating at Parker Canyon Lake located south east of Sierra Vista on Hwy 83.  Rock climbers or spelunkers will enjoy two different caves to explore, Kartchner Caverns located just 10 miles from Benson or Colossal Caves to the west.  Hikers and bikers will enjoy the mountain trails at the Chiricahua National Monument or Cochise Stronghold.
