Unfortunately, our dog couldn’t go in water because of blue algae, we stayed in back part for just one night…traveling thru…park has some nice features but it needs some serious gardening upkeep and watering. Didn’t care for open gate in the back either. It could be so great there…nice clean bathrooms!

Great people that work there and very comfortable. Internet and cell service if hit and miss. Benbow Inn was fabulous food!

We have stayed here a few times abd really enjoy the proximity to the Avenue of the Giants. The sites are level and perfect size for our C-class RV and jeep. Enjoy the pool and hot tub as well. You can hear the highway noise but it didn't bother me very much. The staff is very friendly and heloful.

Check in was easy and the staff very helpful and friendly, Campsite was good with only 2 complaints: Table was missing and was located at cabin next to our site. and the power pedestal was angled so the rain fell on my surge protector. I did not report any problems and we stayed inside our rv because of rain.

Great location, friendly staff, tight sites but pretty level. Trim your trees that overhang the main travel loop within the park. One by cabins and one just after trash cans drug along the top of rv.

The campground was very dry, had weeds not taken care of. Observed young ladies just standing around and not working. Had problem with bathrooms not being cleaned very well. Found hair & bandaid on the floor soap build up on shelves. Pool was very cloudy just a disappointment from the last time we stayed it has gone down hill.

The weather was beautiful, the trees were lovely, the families were fun to watch. Overall everything was wonderful. I would have loved to have been closer to the office but it was a great site for camping

Spaces for RV’s need attention, pavement is damaged most places, it makes so hard leveling trailers. Prices aren’t cheap and needs maintenance. Sorry but I don’t think about returning. Very disappointed about this one location.

Nice KOA right off of Highway 101. Premium only comes with a table and chairs. Not worth the extra money.

The staff in the office was very nice. Bathrooms clean, it was a very nice place to,stay. Got,really busy on the weekend but that’s expected. The only negative was that the grass is kinda dead.

It was good. Just wish there was a little more to do besides the pool and the activities center. As an adult I was bored.

We camped with friends here in RV spots over the Labor Day weekend and were pleasantly surprised to discover how quiet and chill it was despite the campground being full over a holiday weekend. The spots were clean, the kids loved the pool and splash pad area, and we enjoyed the easy access to the river for wading. We'll be back!

The spaces are decent, not well kept. Leaking sprinkler system in our space, the grass is dead. The golf course is more like a cow pasture.

Was very expensive, but nothing to justify that. No cable which is needed, because there are no antenna stations. The spaces were plain with no shade, The “patio” was rough asphalt. Trash bins were not convenient. Hookups were very far back, would be ok for 5th wheel or bumper pull, not rv towing a vehicle. We paid $5 extra to be by the dog park, as on the map, but it was elsewhere, behind a c

Front desk greeting was really nice. Our spot was great! The pool and spa were wonderful. Loved the path to the Benbow Inn. Very nice park, clean, sleep with the crickets. Great location! Thank you to the entire Benbow KOA team!!

We saw pictures being posted on their Instagram that made it look fun and nice. We drove from Menifee CA and there wasn't much to do. They were having a water restriction so the splash bad didn't work and the grass for the golf course was so dead. I won't be coming back

Difficult with everything so brown after the damage to their water lines this Spring but everyone is always nice and helpful. Love having the laundry and dog run.

The staff were wonderful, our site was a little tight but worked out just fine, other than dealing with yellow jackets and ants. The pool, market, and restrooms/showers were great. The only thing we didn’t like was the road noise, all night long. Being in a pop up trailer we heard it all. But, all that said, we will be back because the area is so beautiful!

Our RV club enjoyed our stay at your campground. We really appreciate being able to use the club house. The bathrooms and showers were spotless and well maintained. If there is one criticism it would be the lights in the clubhouse (Friendship Hall) are very dim, and there were no shelves in the freezer. Other than that our stay was very enjoyable and we look forward to returning.

We enjoyed this RV park. It was clean and quiet and had many amenities to enjoy. A plus was the close proximity to the charming and beautiful Historic Benbow Inn which we enjoyed for dinner. Only a five minute walk from the park.

Our site appeared to have a tree missing so it was quite sunny. The restroom could use an update and a bit more cleaning. It had lots to do around the area. All campsite should have a fire pit /cooking grill on site.

The 30 amp plug housing was damaged. The restrooms have no ventilation, except when the motion sensor is activated and turns on the exhaust fans. I went in to take a shower on an hot day and it was like walking into a sauna, hotter inside than outside. The ventilation stopped halfway through my shower because there was no detectable movement. The ventilation system needs be separated from sensor.

Our site 87 was good. Power and water good ,ewer hook ok. Its a older camp was bit tight just pulling into our site had maneuver a bit. We noticed that the park grounds are showing a lot of lack of maintenance in area's. Understand water conservation, but why let a leak run for the 5 days. Pool and patio area was clean as well as spa. Not enough umbrella's for the pool area. no CABLE! NO OTA!

wish pool and hot tub could have stayed open till 9pm it closed at 8pm, a little early during the weekdays. other than that, it was relaxing, and weather was great, had a friendly staff willing to help when ever needed.

Love the Benbow campground. The only thing that needs to be worked on is getting the golf course back into shape. I enjoy going there and playing golf.

We stayed at the Benbow KOA for spring break 2024. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. Since it was Easter weekend, the campground staff hosted an egg hunt for the kids with an appearance from the Easter Bunny. It was pretty awesome! We stayed in a FHU “comfort” patio site 52, with relatives staying in Tent Site T1, right across the road from our site. The RV site required minimal leveling and all hookups were well maintained. The site included patio furniture and a fire pit. The patio was nice since the grass was muddy from all the winter rain. The showers and bathrooms appeared clean and maintained. The hot tub was open, but it was too early in the season for the pool and splash pad. The laundry room was large and had newer machines. The gift shop had all the essentials for RVers and guests. There is also 2 arcade games, a Star Wars pinball machine and pool table in the lounge area of the front office. They have a small library of books and board games, dice and dominoes to use. The dog park area is on the smaller side, but there are some great pet walk areas around the resort. There is also a small 9 hole golf course next to the KOA. The WiFi was good and able to stream. The cable was not so good due to limited channels and fuzz (could have been my fault). The historic Benbow Inn across the way was a nice surprise with good food options, a full bar and traditional afternoon tea. It's a short walk on a nice path or you can drive there. We were within a few freeway exits of the Avenue of the Giants and a lot of other famous trees and redwood groves in the area. One exit away, in Garberville, there is a supermarket called Ray's Food Place and an awesome Mexican restaurant called El Cora Restaurant. There are fuel options in Garberville as well. I would definitely recommend Benbow KOA to others.

We arrived just before 8:00 p.m. with no reservations and we're greeted by Chloe and Juan who attended to our every need. Thank you for hiring the best. They are definitely an asset to your company. We so enjoyed our time there even though it was real short. Thank you again for your hospitality. You were amazing! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend your campground to anyone traveling

Best KOA cabins we have stayed in. Many models to choose from in the midst of Redwood country. We have stayed there many times, and they are always outstanding. They are very clean and spotless - you can walk around in your socks and they won't get dirty. Spacious and well stocked, towels, dishes, everything. Sheets are crisp. Staff is wonderful and helpful. You can dine at the adjacent historic Benbow Inn. Just wonderful.
