We are 53 feet toatal. Going on grass cannot happen in the sites at this time of year. We were placed in site 72. As I approached could see trailers before had created a mud puddle. Had to drive through it putting the truck and trailer in mud. I washed it all off. Could not walk around site as mud and water at back of trailer. I mentioned at front, was told they had lots of rain, no sorry. picture

We're sorry you had poor experience at our park. Unfortunately during this time of year we do get a lot of rain and mud, but our staff is always more than willing to help get you a site that's more accommodating for your needs. We also ask that you don't park on the grass during any time of year.

The Employees are super AMAZING !!!!! The RV park is clean and fun for the family:) Remember to go over to the Hotel for cocktails and food. My wife and I have been going there since 1976 on our Honeymoon . It's a Great place in the summer for the kids with the pool , Jacuzzi , playground and summer swimming holes on the river. Very nice office staff. However the sites were narrow and we were placed in a very muddy site when drier sites were empty. To top it off we had our rv broken into and things were stolen during the night.

This was a typical KOA based on our experience staying in other KOA’s across the country. The bathrooms were clean, all the hookups worked, the lobby was nice and the staff were friendly. The only gripe I have, is that the spaces and roads to the spaces were not paved enough to allow easy in/out access. We ended up dragging our toad through the mud to get lined up properly.

Unhelpful woman at check-in rang us up as non-members despite being told we are members. She insisted on our membership number, which we didn’t have and couldn’t find without cell coverage. Signed in at 3 other KOA’s in the last month using only our name. Finally got logged in and found our number, and she had it on her screen the whole time! Very disappointing and unfriendly!

We're sorry you had a poor experience checking in. Upon looking into the issue we have found that it was a communication error. Our front desk was told to use a nickname while your rewards is associated with your full name. Our system is very sensitive to those differences, we hope to see you again.

Great facilities and super friendly staff! Just off the freeway so easy to maneuver the trailer and rest for the night. Only downside is no ATM on site, so if you need to do laundry you need to drive 3 miles to the closest ATM and then come back to the campground for change.

Love this place. Very clean and accommodating. Large pull through for our class A and jeep. A lot of sights to see in the area. Dog friendly is a big plus for us. We will definitely be back. Very friendly staff.

Off season, so plenty of space. Check in in fast and friendly. Assigned spot was too wet (it'd the off season -rain) - move to a new spot was fast and easy. Price was good.

We were traveling up to Newport, Oregon and used this KOA for an overnighter on our way up and back. We found it to be clean, quiet and the staff was super friendly. We will definitely be back and we'll stay longer. Thank you!

Staff are responsive and friendly. Just a short walk over to the Benbow Inn for Tea and Scones or a lovely dinner. Love this place!

It was a lovely stay. Sites were spacious and the park was quiet, but we were there midweek In November. Very helpful staff.

Facilities were very nice, but unfortunately the lady at the office had very negative attitudes which made our stay uncomfortable.

The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. It was very clean and well taken care of. The only downside was the sights were a bit small and hard to pull into.

Very nice property. The campground was nearly empty. We requested a quiet space. Instead, two units were parked next to us on each of the two nights that we were there. We were already setup and both nights their heaters were humming like jet engines. We had to wear earplugs. Too late and too much hassle to request another space and pack up and move. Just pointing out what quite means.

This is a lovely KOA not far from the 101 in Benbow CA. Yes you can hear the freeway but it's not that loud, inside our RV we do not hear it at all. The facilities are clean and well maintained, and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

The young lady that checked me in was very nice. The roads/streets through the park are extremely narrow and with cars parked along them very difficult to navigate. I WON'T BE GOING THERE AGAIN.

Had a wonderful time. Stayed for 5 nights with our Elk’s Lodge group, 26 people. Golfing was good but greens need more attention. The Village Hall was nice to use for our dinners and games. Thank you Benbow, we will be back next year. Eureka Elk’s Redwood Roamers RV group.

A clean level site. The bathrooms were also clean but water tended to pool on the wrong side of the shower curtain in the handicap shower. We always enjoy our stays at Benbow. The office personnel and staff are friendly and competent. Thank you.

On of the finer campgrounds we stayed at during our trip. The property was well cared for with decent spacing between units. We tried the golf. The layout is good but condition is rough. It will be a fun play when brought back to good condition.

We were lucky we were there in the November / December season so lots of room for us. We loved the spacious grounds, close proximity to Redwoods and the cute town of Garberville. We ate at the Historic Inn and loved the Christmas decor and beauty of the hotel.

Beautiful campground! Stayed 3 nights in RV spot. Avenue of the Giants road is just 20 or so miles north, so spent a day doing that. Played 9 holes of golf here one day and that was fun! Lovely and friendly staff!
