we had a superb time, as always. the cabin was wonderful! only 2 pieces of constructive feedback: please put a trashcan in the bathrooms. Women menstruate, we need trashcans. and two, please clean behind the toilets too. I wiped up some water that I spilled behind the toilet and it was clear that it hadn't been cleaned behind the toilet. other than that, we loved our stay!

Super friendly and happy staff! Made the stay that much more enjoyable. The cabin was great size, a little stuffy and warm when we arrived but the ac cooled it down quick.

It Was clean very nice. Bed was so uncomfortable. The cabin was small as we were told. This was tiny. I would recommend that people REALLY check it out when you are told it is small.

We had a great time swimming, playing at the park and having our own campfire. We were just one night in a 4 person cabin. Only criticism is that there were not plates and silverware for 4 people- otherwise great!

Cabin was nice and clean but coffee maker and toaster were broken, we have our coffee at 6 am so very disappointed we didn’t get coffee until 9, I will bring my own toaster and coffee maker in the future.

Upon arrival there was no toilet paper, the sink was leaking water, there was mold under the sink and the trash had not been emptied. Overall the cabin wasn’t very clean. We made it work for one night but likely won’t stay there again.

We really enjoy staying at the Benbow KOA. Whether it be RV or cabin. The only issue was the plumbing. Shower water lines was backwards. Cold side ran hot and hot side ran cold. The coffee pot was missing the lid. We had coffee all over due to the filter reservoir over filling.

I can't believe you would charge $100 for that tri-plex you call a cabin. There were no chairs, no picnic tables. A big hole dug outside with with a tractor parked in unit spot. There was a TV but no cable, would have been nice since there was nothing else to do outside in the evening.

Benbow KOA is the best! We had such a nice time at the pool and at the river! One of my favorite vacation spots!

Key card did not work. New card worked but room was disgusting. Moved the disabled member further away in tall uncut grass and very high weeds. Room door very visible gap outside. Lots of spiders and webs I had to remove before room could be used (really a lot). Bed made me feel I was in a hammock. Smelled as just painted so very strong paint smell.

We stayed in a cabin with 3 Units (41B). It was great having the creek below us and hot water in the unit to shower, but I don’t think that was a mattress on the bed. It felt like a box spring because that’s what we felt all night -springs.

Great cabin, but very disappointed in the parking accommodations. We called ahead to see if we could park our truck with flatbed trailer in a pull through for the night. We were told they could not give us one without charging for it. When we got in at 9pm the parking was quite a ways from our cabin. We had to walk past many empty pull through sites. We will not stay here again.

We have a small parking lot next to our cabins as well as a spot for a single vehicle at each cabin. As discussed, overflow/golf parking is available at the entrance of our park. Using RV sites as parking can cause conflict as sites are predetermined and we had many late check ins such as yourself.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The whole grounds were beautiful and kept very nice and clean. We rented a cabin which was run down, next to a permanent RV with lots of clutter and the floor flooded with water in the middle of the night.

Beautiful place, well maintained. Stayed in a cabin, clean and well stocked, however, needed a floor mat near the door and extra blanket in the back room. The heater works well, but too loud and hot for the people in the loft at night. That being said, we are already planning a summer trip to enjoy the river, pool and water splash area.

Very nice, clean cabin by the river. Comfortable and convenient. Peaceful to sit on the back porch and listen to the river below. Just a few steps down to the river bank.

Super clean, well-stocked cabins, and lots of them! Wonderful staff. Beautiful location near redwoods. Adjacent historic Benbow Inn a nice place for dinner or a drink.

I think for the winter season, the value was not good. Price in general was too high for the state of the cabin. Towels were thread bare and no sugar or creamer for the coffee. A heavier winter blanket or an extra blanket for the winter would have been nice. Staff at front desk was very nice and professional.

We stayed at the cabins that are right on the river and I would highly recommend this location as you can sit on your back porch and watch the river. There is a cute little front porch too. I stayed in two different cabins, one slept 4 people and one slept 2 people. I prefer the cabin that sleeps two. Kitchen was stocked with cookware but you may want to bring your own. The winter discount is $125

Family lives up the street so, very convenient. Cabin is old and a bit beaten but, we don’t care. It’s clean and has all we need to be comfortable. We’ll be back. Love it in the summer when the pool and hot tub are available for use.

We stayed at the Benbow KOA for spring break 2024. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. Since it was Easter weekend, the campground staff hosted an egg hunt for the kids with an appearance from the Easter Bunny. It was pretty awesome! We stayed in a FHU “comfort” patio site 52, with relatives staying in Tent Site T1, right across the road from our site. The RV site required minimal leveling and all hookups were well maintained. The site included patio furniture and a fire pit. The patio was nice since the grass was muddy from all the winter rain. The showers and bathrooms appeared clean and maintained. The hot tub was open, but it was too early in the season for the pool and splash pad. The laundry room was large and had newer machines. The gift shop had all the essentials for RVers and guests. There is also 2 arcade games, a Star Wars pinball machine and pool table in the lounge area of the front office. They have a small library of books and board games, dice and dominoes to use. The dog park area is on the smaller side, but there are some great pet walk areas around the resort. There is also a small 9 hole golf course next to the KOA. The WiFi was good and able to stream. The cable was not so good due to limited channels and fuzz (could have been my fault). The historic Benbow Inn across the way was a nice surprise with good food options, a full bar and traditional afternoon tea. It's a short walk on a nice path or you can drive there. We were within a few freeway exits of the Avenue of the Giants and a lot of other famous trees and redwood groves in the area. One exit away, in Garberville, there is a supermarket called Ray's Food Place and an awesome Mexican restaurant called El Cora Restaurant. There are fuel options in Garberville as well. I would definitely recommend Benbow KOA to others.

We arrived just before 8:00 p.m. with no reservations and we're greeted by Chloe and Juan who attended to our every need. Thank you for hiring the best. They are definitely an asset to your company. We so enjoyed our time there even though it was real short. Thank you again for your hospitality. You were amazing! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend your campground to anyone traveling

Best KOA cabins we have stayed in. Many models to choose from in the midst of Redwood country. We have stayed there many times, and they are always outstanding. They are very clean and spotless - you can walk around in your socks and they won't get dirty. Spacious and well stocked, towels, dishes, everything. Sheets are crisp. Staff is wonderful and helpful. You can dine at the adjacent historic Benbow Inn. Just wonderful.
