The Benbow KOA has easy access from US101 and egress back to the 101. The Benbow KOA has plenty of activities available to RV campers …….. a 9 hole golf course, swimming pool, splash pad, horse shoe pit, shuffle board, plus an activity room for special get-togethers. There are KOA cabins, a big laundry and campground store in the office. We highly recommend the Benbow KOA to travelers.

The pool, hot tub and splash pad combo really helps us make this a fun camp. Rarely,have I seen kids openly cheering because they are having so much fun on a train ride around the camp. The location was very convenient if you are exploring the Avenue of the Giants.

We had site D-60. It is an end spot with a great shade tree, and a table and chairs on the lawn. The rivers trees grow beautiful and tall, just across the street. Because it is an end spot, there is no other RV in view. The park was 98% full. It felt like a resort. There were lots of what looked like family reunions. Everybody was having fun, and were friendly. The quiet hours were fully respected

The manager was VERY friendly. Camp sites are a little close together. Had to ask neighbors to move their vehicle so I could get out

Very nice KOA. Great customer service - I accidentally booked the wrong date and a quick phone call had it resolved. We only stayed one night but looks like a fun family KOA to vacation at.

Very friendly staff. Great place to take the kids. Did miss the evening activities this year and wish they did a couple different day activities for kids. But overall was a great time and the kids had a blast. The pool, splash park, and barrel rides are awesome.

Wonderful Stay. My kids loved the pool and splash playground. The barrel rides were a blast, and my kids also enjoyed the arts and crafts. Looking forward to playing golf on our next visit.

Pretty nice little campground outside the redwoods and close to Richardsons grove. Had a good time there with a small 9 hole golf course and swimming pool there were plenty of activities to keep us entertained.

Very clean, nice staff, well furbished store. A bit pricier than most KOA’s and the office amenities close at 8, which seemed early for summer time. Very family friendly-pool, splash pad, playground etc! Would definitely recommend and will most likely return!

Not pleased with extra taxes/fees added on to stay after we arrived why weren’t these fees apparent when I booked and paid for our stay?

We like this place but it’s not really a holiday for the price. We were there on a holiday weekend and it was really hot and the 1person working the desk turned off the splash pad at 4:30. My grandkids were very disappointed. We went to take grandkids for ice cream about 5 minutes before closing and she wouldn’t let us in and she kicked out the others that were already in. Again disappointed!

This stay was very disappointing. They charged $135 for a standard pull thru (picnic table only). We needed wifi, so booked it, but we were never able to get on it (tried many times). Had to unhook as the site was so unlevel, grass was dead, the kids water park was closed (they said the water co didn't allow them enough water). Advertise many amenities, but didn't come through with any of them

I would like to say 4 1/2, the woman’s bathroom showers and bathroom were not very clean the day I showered there. Otherwise we loved every minute! We are in our late 60’s and still played in the fountain �ϋ� we were sad that there was roadwork on The Avenue of the Giants, and no signage. We were on our motorcycle and it was very dangerous for us to turn around. It was the main reason for o

We love the Benbow KOA and it is definitely a 5 star location for us. However, the bathrooms could use some repairs and was surprised that after the morning cleaning, the toilet paper was not replenished. The showers were great! The arts and crafts were a big hit with my granddaughters and they are hoping to see Chloe again next year. They really loved her and she was so patient with them.

The kids looooved the craft time with Chloe. The grass was really dry at the campsites but we had a great time. The kids loved the pool, playground and basketball courts.

Campground was very clean. Neighbors partied until 1 am on Sunday night. Staff is sparse, no one checking on pool area because there were a few people with wine and champagne bottles. Kids jumping and running into the pool. Lots of gift items (souvenirs) in the store but not much of the supplies needed! The little train that went around the park carrying the children was going a bit to fast!

What a friendly campground! Staff were SO nice. Felt very welcome. Grounds are nice with fairly private sites. Dog walk is really nice. Had a great pancake brekkie here too!

We stayed at the Benbow KOA for spring break 2024. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. Since it was Easter weekend, the campground staff hosted an egg hunt for the kids with an appearance from the Easter Bunny. It was pretty awesome! We stayed in a FHU “comfort” patio site 52, with relatives staying in Tent Site T1, right across the road from our site. The RV site required minimal leveling and all hookups were well maintained. The site included patio furniture and a fire pit. The patio was nice since the grass was muddy from all the winter rain. The showers and bathrooms appeared clean and maintained. The hot tub was open, but it was too early in the season for the pool and splash pad. The laundry room was large and had newer machines. The gift shop had all the essentials for RVers and guests. There is also 2 arcade games, a Star Wars pinball machine and pool table in the lounge area of the front office. They have a small library of books and board games, dice and dominoes to use. The dog park area is on the smaller side, but there are some great pet walk areas around the resort. There is also a small 9 hole golf course next to the KOA. The WiFi was good and able to stream. The cable was not so good due to limited channels and fuzz (could have been my fault). The historic Benbow Inn across the way was a nice surprise with good food options, a full bar and traditional afternoon tea. It's a short walk on a nice path or you can drive there. We were within a few freeway exits of the Avenue of the Giants and a lot of other famous trees and redwood groves in the area. One exit away, in Garberville, there is a supermarket called Ray's Food Place and an awesome Mexican restaurant called El Cora Restaurant. There are fuel options in Garberville as well. I would definitely recommend Benbow KOA to others.

We arrived just before 8:00 p.m. with no reservations and we're greeted by Chloe and Juan who attended to our every need. Thank you for hiring the best. They are definitely an asset to your company. We so enjoyed our time there even though it was real short. Thank you again for your hospitality. You were amazing! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend your campground to anyone traveling
