Staff are responsive and friendly. Just a short walk over to the Benbow Inn for Tea and Scones or a lovely dinner. Love this place!

It was a lovely stay. Sites were spacious and the park was quiet, but we were there midweek In November. Very helpful staff.

Facilities were very nice, but unfortunately the lady at the office had very negative attitudes which made our stay uncomfortable.

The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. It was very clean and well taken care of. The only downside was the sights were a bit small and hard to pull into.

Very nice property. The campground was nearly empty. We requested a quiet space. Instead, two units were parked next to us on each of the two nights that we were there. We were already setup and both nights their heaters were humming like jet engines. We had to wear earplugs. Too late and too much hassle to request another space and pack up and move. Just pointing out what quite means.

This is a lovely KOA not far from the 101 in Benbow CA. Yes you can hear the freeway but it's not that loud, inside our RV we do not hear it at all. The facilities are clean and well maintained, and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

The young lady that checked me in was very nice. The roads/streets through the park are extremely narrow and with cars parked along them very difficult to navigate. I WON'T BE GOING THERE AGAIN.

It rained at night but was warm and comfortable during the day. Facilities were clean and the staff was eager to help.

Had a wonderful time. Stayed for 5 nights with our Elk’s Lodge group, 26 people. Golfing was good but greens need more attention. The Village Hall was nice to use for our dinners and games. Thank you Benbow, we will be back next year. Eureka Elk’s Redwood Roamers RV group.

A clean level site. The bathrooms were also clean but water tended to pool on the wrong side of the shower curtain in the handicap shower. We always enjoy our stays at Benbow. The office personnel and staff are friendly and competent. Thank you.

On of the finer campgrounds we stayed at during our trip. The property was well cared for with decent spacing between units. We tried the golf. The layout is good but condition is rough. It will be a fun play when brought back to good condition.

The park is nice & quiet even with the freeway nearby. Would have been five stars but one of the stalls in the women’s shower was really dirty. The whole bathroom needs a deep clean. Turning to 406, around spot 412, the tree branches need to be trimmed. I drove slowly and close to the grass to avoid it but I heard the branches on the roof. Would have said shared but I left b4 the office was clos

I checked in late [8pm]. I parked where instructed and began to fill out the form provided. But nothing else was available at the window [site locations etc.] I spent an hour trying to locate an electric site, then parked where I could see best. Your campground is extremely poorly lit! After all that trouble I saw your store was open [also dimly lit] and went inside. Your attendant had me move [af

Close to California Coastal redwoods. Nice campsites with mature trees at every site. Easy to pull in even for our 40 foot motorhome. Very friendly staff. Great dog walking. Green grass at all sites as well as designated pet area. Peaceful setting. Could benefit from general maintenance. Bathrooms could use deep cleaning. Entrance and all interior roadways need resurfacing. Too many potholes.

I thought the facility was more expensive than other KOA’s. A shower and changing room in the pool area would be an improvement.

We walked, played golf, enjoyed the pool and spa, and enjoyed dinner at the benbow inn. It was a very restful getaway.

This was my third visit to KOA Benbow, and always a treat. Easy check in, Immaculate grounds. Everything worked as it should. Luxurious hot tub after a long day of travel. Topped off the propane tanks on our way out. Great place!!

We stayed at the Benbow KOA for spring break 2024. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. Since it was Easter weekend, the campground staff hosted an egg hunt for the kids with an appearance from the Easter Bunny. It was pretty awesome! We stayed in a FHU “comfort” patio site 52, with relatives staying in Tent Site T1, right across the road from our site. The RV site required minimal leveling and all hookups were well maintained. The site included patio furniture and a fire pit. The patio was nice since the grass was muddy from all the winter rain. The showers and bathrooms appeared clean and maintained. The hot tub was open, but it was too early in the season for the pool and splash pad. The laundry room was large and had newer machines. The gift shop had all the essentials for RVers and guests. There is also 2 arcade games, a Star Wars pinball machine and pool table in the lounge area of the front office. They have a small library of books and board games, dice and dominoes to use. The dog park area is on the smaller side, but there are some great pet walk areas around the resort. There is also a small 9 hole golf course next to the KOA. The WiFi was good and able to stream. The cable was not so good due to limited channels and fuzz (could have been my fault). The historic Benbow Inn across the way was a nice surprise with good food options, a full bar and traditional afternoon tea. It's a short walk on a nice path or you can drive there. We were within a few freeway exits of the Avenue of the Giants and a lot of other famous trees and redwood groves in the area. One exit away, in Garberville, there is a supermarket called Ray's Food Place and an awesome Mexican restaurant called El Cora Restaurant. There are fuel options in Garberville as well. I would definitely recommend Benbow KOA to others.

We arrived just before 8:00 p.m. with no reservations and we're greeted by Chloe and Juan who attended to our every need. Thank you for hiring the best. They are definitely an asset to your company. We so enjoyed our time there even though it was real short. Thank you again for your hospitality. You were amazing! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend your campground to anyone traveling
