spent two nights there. Third stay at Benbow. The place is lacking simple maintenance. Light bulbs in restrooms out. Hooks missing from shower doors, lawn needs mowing and water. Hot tub not working. Outside spray shower not working properly.

Good stay. Not too crowded and we got a round of 9 holes of golf in at the course right next door. Checked out the Benbow Inn.

Beautiful campground, very well maintained, such nice facilities and great, friendly service! I plan to go back often. The nicest RV campground I’ve stayed in.

I rented 2 cabins for 2 nights. . The cabins are very nice. No drawer space for clothes though. Cabin 37 has very good air conditioning with units in both bedrooms also. Cabin 38 only had one wall unit. Cabin 38 has nice back porch and full kitchen. If it's a hot day don't use the oven!! My boys love the golf course and the kids loved the club house activities and the river beach.

Great People. Very nice and helpful. Bathrooms are The Worst. Both the wife and I could NOT use the showers, or any other part of the bathrooms Complete remodel is way overdue especially at $90.+ a night. We have been coming for over 20 years (3 times in the last year)

The cabin was neat, clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The only fall was the hot tube was out of order. Otherwise, it was great. Highly recommend Benbow KOA!

Nice location. Overpriced and ladies bathroom not clean. Go into first shower on right and there’s mold. I stayed twice and it was never cleaned. Same goes for tiles. Yuk… Staff super nice though.

Easy access from the freeway. We noticed some upgrades and repairs in the campground � The store was well stocked, the help was great at check in Dog poo stations were stocked, The golf course was looking good. It was mighty hot the 4 days we were there. A

Stayed in one of the cabins. Nicely decorated but, the one we were in, #44, was very small and mattress was too soft. Swimming pool was great in that the weather was high 90s. Hot tub and children’s water park needs to be repaired and in working order. Neither was functioning. We have family that lives very close so, I’m sure we’ll stay there again.

We had an amazing time. Wish the splash pad and the hot tub would have been working but the pool was great! Campground was very clean. Wifi could be better but oh well we didnt really need it. We will be back!

Staff friendly and knowledgeable; showers good. Nice and quiet. Longest spaces too short for 40 ft motorhome towing a short car; forced to disconnect car to navigate space and exit.

The hot tub was out of order The lady’s restroom by the pool was out of order The Mens bathroom by the cabin and showers where Not fixed But all staff member Where very kind and polite And helpful

Very nice KOA! We had a problem with the electricity at our site. Two camp hosts came and tried to fix the problem. It was a Sunday so the electrician was not there. We had to move to a different site- they discounted our stay. I’d come back and stay here! We were just traveling through so we didn’t use the pool or spa.

Lovely shaded level pull thru. Bathroom clean. Pool area nice and clean. WiFi was not great, warned us before arrival so we had a back up plan. Check in was smooth and all workers were very friendly. Great spot to explore redwood parks.

We stayed in one of the modular trailers with other compartments next to us. We stayed in A hoping to not be next to another guest in the next room, having to listen to all their noises. The guests next to us were placed in B and their was no one in C. And the air conditioning unit was directly over the bed, adding more noise to what could of been a peaceful night of sleep. Room was clean :-)

Overall an above average KOA. The only negative was the dead grass and dirt on my site. The golf course is a huge plus for me! Shirt and Sharyn couldn’t be nicer. They are a great asset for your park. We will return!

Our family didn’t get a chance to use any of the accommodations due to an unexpected late arrival. We rented a sleeper cabin, my kids thought it was awesome, until we discover a very large spider in my bed. YES, it was alive and looked like a brown recluse! In addition the river had toxic blue-green algae, my boys were terrified our dog would drink from the river and die. ASAP a.m. departure.

It all started when we checked in, the park management were great to work with. Very nice, accommodating, welcoming. They were the type of people who insure you are having a great time.

Lots of trees and shade. Pool was great for swimming laps early in the morning before the kids took over. Nice and mostly quiet. Will come back when rivers are safe for our dog. Office and outdoor staff was very friendly!!

Friendliest staff I have experienced at a KOA and I have never had a bad experience at KOAs. Every question and need of mine was met with a friendly face/smile and knowledgeable insight.

Lovely big campsites. Lots of trees! Fun golf. Beautiful pool. Only complaint is cleanliness of the shower stalls. Very poorly maintained and cleaned.

Beautiful setting and RV sites are spacious with nice trees. Your staff is VERY friendly! But your bathrooms need PROMPT attention. A major clean-up is needed- the use of bleach and a power wash. The showers have black mold on the walls and under the handicapped seats! Some showers don't drain properly. The shower handles & heads are not working properly. The black mats need weekly cleaning. Thx

Always very nice people working at this KOA. The only two things this time is the internet is really bad and wish people would pick up after their dogs in the camping places

We traveled the 101 from Southern California to Oregon. Benbow was a wonderful place to stay for a few days to enjoy the beauty of the Redwood forest, swim in the river and have dinner at the gracious Benbow Inn. It was nice to have amenities at the campground also.

Kamping Kabins were perfect for me and my 2 kids- clean, all the amenities we could want, lovely back and front porches- which we loved, even with fans! Staff is friendly and helpful, and we had a blast playing soccer golf. Great time, we will be back!

The hot tub has been broken for MONTHS! What is the flipping problem?? Get the hot tub fixed. When I asked around, I was told that the owner or manager deletes/edits the negative reviews. Hey! Great option for them to keep the truth from being told. Guess I'll just need to post on Campendium & Yelp. Will also inquire @ KOA headquarters to find out why this is allowed. OK grounds, Great staff.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our Hot Tub Heater failed, and we are awaiting replacement. Due to Supply Chain issues, sadly this is taking longer than desired. We cannot Edit nor Delete reviews, we just reply like we are here. Hope you can return again, ask for Justin Legge, General Manager to talk in details in person. Thanks!

wifi is very weak for todays times...This place is falling apart. grass is dead in every site, golf course is dead. roads need repaving. up keep is seriosly needed. it is a naice place..Thank god for the staff, they were wonderful.

It was great and clean… the only problem that we saw was the showers. They were not working correctly and were outdated by the office as well as the toilets. With this busy campground you would think that they would put more money into those things. Other than that we enjoyed our Stay very much.
