Golf course is not being maintained, lowered the price to golf but price of cart was higher! WiFi is terrible, could pay for better but at $80 and $90 a night that should be included Saw numerous workers driving carts around the park off and on all day and never saw them working on anything. All employees were very nice and polite but overall was overpriced.

Nice setting, though close to noisy 101. Very friendly staff, nice facilities. Hot tub warm but dirty and jets haven't worked most of the season.

The staff was friendly, the park was clean, and we really enjoyed its location. Quick on and off to the Avenue of the Giants. Walk to Benbow Inn for dinner. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful location & friendly staff. Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for the terrible Wi-Fi & Verizon cell service. Would have stayed longer had we not needed to drive to Garberville when we needed to get some work done. And while they have no control over this problem, they warn you that if you let your dog go into the adjacent Eel River, it will die within 10 minutes from toxic algae!

The RV hookups are easy to use. Pet walk is a great green pathway for the pups hot feet. Staff were super friendly and informative about the river.

Lovely campground! We wanted a peaceful evening but some very rude people didn’t let that happen. They had very loud music with the bass turned up very high. It boomed away for several hours & we had no peace at all. Then there was loud screaming & laughing from young adults going back & forth from this cabin. Was not pleasant to listen to when all you wanted was a relaxing evening.

We enjoyed our stay and would have liked to have stayed longer if the internet was better since I have to use it for work if we stay longer than 3 days. Unfortunately we couldn’t. The grounds are kept up great and the staff is very friendly. We will recommend to anyone not needing the internet! Thanks for the great stay

I really love staying at Benbow KOA. I enjoyed my recent stay at Benbow KOA. Just a couple of things… Jacuzzi was out of service, I was told I had space 36B but accually I was suppose to be in space 35, the grassy areas were dead and brown, and most of the shower stall benches were missing.

Late night noise control was not enforced, our neighbors were partying till after midnight keeping us awake. Our than that our stay was great, employees were very helpful.

This KOA was amazing! The sites are spacious and the amenities are numerous. We enjoyed riding our bikes around the area and even to Garberville. Having the Benbow Inn close by to enjoy cocktails in the afternoon topped the perfect experience.

We had a lovely stay. My only complaint is we traveled with 2 other families who made reservations after us and requested that our sites be near one another and this did not happen. It would be nice to be able to pick our sites so we could have all could have been close. We will be back though as we enjoyed the stay and the location.

We had a great stay. the staff were great as well as the pool and arcade. The cabin however had an uncomfortable small queen bed and the AC was very loud so we had to shut it off at night to sleep so it did get warm in the cabin.

When we arrived our patio was covered in dirt and mud and our picnic table also the hot tub still isn’t working and the splash pad only has one jet that works sometimes this has been going on for two years I find it hard to believe you’re waiting for parts people ride motorcycles around kids on motorized scooters loud music at the pool it looks like it’s turning into a trailer park

It was very fun. The staff was very nice and personable. We loved the activities they offer. I stayed in the cabin and I think it could use a little improvement. The mattress was super loud and I thought I would wake someone up just shifting in my sleep & it could use a better mop job in there. Also the splash pad needs to remodeled. Only 3 spouts worked. We were just passing through and wanted a safe place to spend the night. to pay 100 for a night in which i didn't need hook up seem like a lot. The staff were kind and helpful.

The single cabin was small but clean and comfortable enough. The air conditioning was adequate and quickly responsive. All the children in our group had a great time. It was a bit expensive but the location desired.
