I can't believe you would charge $100 for that tri-plex you call a cabin. There were no chairs, no picnic tables. A big hole dug outside with with a tractor parked in unit spot. There was a TV but no cable, would have been nice since there was nothing else to do outside in the evening.

We're sorry you didn't enjoy your experience. Our triplex units are cabins split into 3 smaller units, so they are indeed quite small. If there was an issue with the cable staff would have been able to fix that if notified. Please reach out and let us know how we could make your next stay better!

such a nice, clean campground with great amenities! The only con I would say is that the site we were at seemed more well suited for a trailer or RV so it was a little small and awkward for a tent. Next time, I will specify wanting to be in a more grassy area.

Staff was all very pleasant and kind. My biggest complaint is that I reserved the premium patio site but what I got did not match the photos. There were no lounge chairs. The table was fine but the chairs were very worn down and we were afraid to sit in one of them. They also put 1 night stay people rotating in the site next to us all week. even with the place less than 20% full.

We arrived and checked into our site , when we got to our site we found the cement patio pad covered with debris and the picnic table was very dirty and had lots of bird dropping on it . I had to clean the cement pad off, and we did use the table because of the condition. It would seem that if you had someone checking into a site you would check it before your guess arrival .

We had a wonderful visit at Benbow campground, the site was nice and clean , we noticed a lot of workers attending to the park, watering the lawns, tree trimming, The office lady’s where very friendly, thank you for all your help

We always enjoy our stay at Benbow KOA. My ONLY complaint is there were foxtails in the dog run. The staff is helpful and friendly. We'll be back again!

This is a wonderful KOA with an amazing team. The location is beautiful, perfect as a home base to explore the Lost Coast and redwood forest. The pool and spa were great. On our last daywe got a flat tire on our trailer. The KOA team recommended a great towing company to change out our spare and helped make sure all our tires were properly inflated for our trip home. We will definitely be back.

I am angry about the people with golfcarts. They drive so fast over the campground.

Unfortunately we did have many people break our rules regarding safety and speed on our golf carts. We spoke to as many of those people as we could and some have been banned from any future use. We apologize for the disruption you experienced and hope to make your next stay a better one!

The staff at this KOA is by far the best of any KOA I’ve ever stayed at. Nor only is their facility extremely clean and well-kept, but the staff members are very helpful and go above and beyond. We will be back next year. Thank you you guys!

Great for one night stop on the way south on route 101. Movie night for the kids was great. Minor comment - the showers and restrooms could do with a makeover..

We enjoyed our stay! The employees were professional & friendly..,,Great place for kids! We loved the pool, the dog park &. the river! We had our honeymoon at the Inn 54 yrs ago! It’s been wonderful to come back through the years! Thanks for keeping it authentic!

The place was very well-maintained in a beautiful location. There are also activities visitors can do - pool, basketball, golf, fishing, not to me tonight exploring the area. There are many cabins and a community hall to hold family gatherings/celebrations. We would definitely like to come back.

Most of the sites have overgrown trees as did our site . The trees dragged across our roof and side of our motorhome. Hot tub and pool were nice, just wish they were open later than 8pm.

Nice area off the road, with a small golf course connecting to it. Showers were in need of some repairs, but were adequate and plenty of hot water. Used the laundry and was clean. Both were secure, as had to have code to enter.

Key card did not work. New card worked but room was disgusting. Moved the disabled member further away in tall uncut grass and very high weeds. Room door very visible gap outside. Lots of spiders and webs I had to remove before room could be used (really a lot). Bed made me feel I was in a hammock. Smelled as just painted so very strong paint smell.

There seemed to be a trash problem. During our brief visit, the big trash bin was never dumped. Some trash was removed so the lids would close. On our first evening, we all gathered at the wagon master's site and every once in a while when the wind would blow, you could smell the trash. The group voted to return next year....it's a beautiful and everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Yes, unfortunately the company who picks up our trash missed it the last 2-3 times they were supposed to be here. We understand the discomfort caused by the bins and have been in contact with the company to have this resolved.

Two of the three dog stations were out of poop bags, the garbage dumpsters were overflowing and it would be nice to have the Jacuzzi hours posted, being closed by 8:10 pm seems awful early.

We stayed at the Benbow KOA for spring break 2024. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. Since it was Easter weekend, the campground staff hosted an egg hunt for the kids with an appearance from the Easter Bunny. It was pretty awesome! We stayed in a FHU “comfort” patio site 52, with relatives staying in Tent Site T1, right across the road from our site. The RV site required minimal leveling and all hookups were well maintained. The site included patio furniture and a fire pit. The patio was nice since the grass was muddy from all the winter rain. The showers and bathrooms appeared clean and maintained. The hot tub was open, but it was too early in the season for the pool and splash pad. The laundry room was large and had newer machines. The gift shop had all the essentials for RVers and guests. There is also 2 arcade games, a Star Wars pinball machine and pool table in the lounge area of the front office. They have a small library of books and board games, dice and dominoes to use. The dog park area is on the smaller side, but there are some great pet walk areas around the resort. There is also a small 9 hole golf course next to the KOA. The WiFi was good and able to stream. The cable was not so good due to limited channels and fuzz (could have been my fault). The historic Benbow Inn across the way was a nice surprise with good food options, a full bar and traditional afternoon tea. It's a short walk on a nice path or you can drive there. We were within a few freeway exits of the Avenue of the Giants and a lot of other famous trees and redwood groves in the area. One exit away, in Garberville, there is a supermarket called Ray's Food Place and an awesome Mexican restaurant called El Cora Restaurant. There are fuel options in Garberville as well. I would definitely recommend Benbow KOA to others.

We arrived just before 8:00 p.m. with no reservations and we're greeted by Chloe and Juan who attended to our every need. Thank you for hiring the best. They are definitely an asset to your company. We so enjoyed our time there even though it was real short. Thank you again for your hospitality. You were amazing! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend your campground to anyone traveling

Best KOA cabins we have stayed in. Many models to choose from in the midst of Redwood country. We have stayed there many times, and they are always outstanding. They are very clean and spotless - you can walk around in your socks and they won't get dirty. Spacious and well stocked, towels, dishes, everything. Sheets are crisp. Staff is wonderful and helpful. You can dine at the adjacent historic Benbow Inn. Just wonderful.
