Have to give a much deserved thank you to Debbie she has always been very helpful and accommodating, We've stayed here many times the park itself is in need of some upgrades but it is clean and functional, and they seem to be making improvements Golf course is a little rough but improving and I will say this late in the summer hard to keep everything green as they may be on water restrictions.

We have stayed at the Benbow KOA many times and always have a great time. We come back due to the friendly staff, clean facilities, and golf. We will be back again.

Everyone was so nice to us! The pool guy happened to be cleaning the pool, but he made sure we were still able to use it. Also the people at the front desk were very nice, and I was so happy there was coffee in the lobby! You have a nice variety of items for sale in case we forget anything, too. My boys LOVE the Star Wars pinball machine as well. It was a quick trip, but we really enjoyed it!

It was great, as usual. The place was clean & well kept. I have stayed here many times & the quality has always been maintained. I was surprised to see that the grass was dried up but it was September.

Clean grounds, very dry with stickers. Spaces close together. Office staff chatty. Fine for an overnight stay, freeway noise all night

5th time being here this year. Got that extra day for $50. Had to call to add on. And Jenn was so pleasant on the phone ...so helpful and nice. When we checked in,there was Jenn and Chloe. So helpful, fun lady's. Everyone that we see in the office is always so nice. We love it. We always love going north out of sonoma county, love the Redwoods. It is always a must stop, cheers

Great location for the park but it needs a little more attention to the grounds. Cracks in patio, dirty picnic tables, and water or sewer leak near our site. Roads in park are very narrow. Front office staff was not familiar with park amenities. Utilities were good and location was quiet even with highway nearby.

Small but well-kept KOA. Only issue is that large rigs of 40 feet or more, have some difficulty moving around the park and maneuvering into a space. However, with a little work, we were able to fit

We needed a place with WiFi and this was the only campground we could find that had wifi. It was okay for a night stay. The two women in the office were very nice! The bathrooms need some help. The showers had spider webs and spiders above them and there were sugar ants all over the walls in the shower. Most of the towel bars were broken off throughout the bathrooms. The pool looked nice!

These guys are always great and consistent on cleanliness and improvements. Lots to do with the golf course, pool, splash zone, hot tub and the Benbow Inn just a few steps away!

We stayed two nights in an RV space. The staff at check in were super nice and friendly and accommodated our request for a change in spots. This is a beautiful park, very clean and tidy with excellent facilities. Pool was sparkling, restrooms' super clean, and the easy walk to Benbow Inn for dinner was really a nice addition to our stay. We played golf and had fun!

The site was level and clean and roomy. The highway noise was minimal. Nice walking access to the Benbow Inn. If you’re a golfer you’ll like it too.

We have stayed here for over 40 years and this was the absolute worse! Everything was dry including the golf course! It was run down! So sad ��

We love this KOA. It's beautiful, clean, full of helpful and friendly staff, and just all-around great. We love that there is a pool and that there is the Eel River right there.

Didnt get to attend the ice cream social or ride the barrel train since both ended prior to typical check in times. Following day with checkout being at noon, were also unable to do these activities, since they didn't start until after checkout. Makes no sense. Make sure families can do the activities. Start them earlier, run them later, or both. Just stay somewhere else for half the price instead

Rooms small,for 100$. shower was dirty and floor was not moped made my white socks black. No I don't wear shoes inside.. staff was very friendly I would stay again but in my rv next time..

Your property is very clean. The employee who checked us in was great. Our stay was quiet & relaxed. The ground poles help with the sewer smell. The wild kitty's were fun to watch.

The park is in a lovely area near the Avenue of Giants. The staff we came in contact with on the grounds were friendly. The front desk clerk was patient and friendly as I decided whether or not to stay another night when an unexpected situation came up. The clean pool and showers were inviting. We planned this 3-day stay as a base for visiting the redwoods. My husband who is now disabled had never seen the California Redwoods. We love the outdoors and chose to stay in a cabin. The staff went above and beyond to make sure the cabin we stayed in was to his liking. We appreciate their efforts because it really made our stay a memorable one. I highly recommend this KOA!

We stayed at the Benbow KOA for spring break 2024. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Check-in was a breeze. Since it was Easter weekend, the campground staff hosted an egg hunt for the kids with an appearance from the Easter Bunny. It was pretty awesome! We stayed in a FHU “comfort” patio site 52, with relatives staying in Tent Site T1, right across the road from our site. The RV site required minimal leveling and all hookups were well maintained. The site included patio furniture and a fire pit. The patio was nice since the grass was muddy from all the winter rain. The showers and bathrooms appeared clean and maintained. The hot tub was open, but it was too early in the season for the pool and splash pad. The laundry room was large and had newer machines. The gift shop had all the essentials for RVers and guests. There is also 2 arcade games, a Star Wars pinball machine and pool table in the lounge area of the front office. They have a small library of books and board games, dice and dominoes to use. The dog park area is on the smaller side, but there are some great pet walk areas around the resort. There is also a small 9 hole golf course next to the KOA. The WiFi was good and able to stream. The cable was not so good due to limited channels and fuzz (could have been my fault). The historic Benbow Inn across the way was a nice surprise with good food options, a full bar and traditional afternoon tea. It's a short walk on a nice path or you can drive there. We were within a few freeway exits of the Avenue of the Giants and a lot of other famous trees and redwood groves in the area. One exit away, in Garberville, there is a supermarket called Ray's Food Place and an awesome Mexican restaurant called El Cora Restaurant. There are fuel options in Garberville as well. I would definitely recommend Benbow KOA to others.

We arrived just before 8:00 p.m. with no reservations and we're greeted by Chloe and Juan who attended to our every need. Thank you for hiring the best. They are definitely an asset to your company. We so enjoyed our time there even though it was real short. Thank you again for your hospitality. You were amazing! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience. We would highly recommend your campground to anyone traveling

Best KOA cabins we have stayed in. Many models to choose from in the midst of Redwood country. We have stayed there many times, and they are always outstanding. They are very clean and spotless - you can walk around in your socks and they won't get dirty. Spacious and well stocked, towels, dishes, everything. Sheets are crisp. Staff is wonderful and helpful. You can dine at the adjacent historic Benbow Inn. Just wonderful.
