Stayed a few times now! we would definitely recommend trailside KOA to friends and family.

Great facility. Nice and quiet which is what we like. Clean and maintained. Office hours were 10-5pm which is a little bit different then what we are used to.

Great place; loved the buddy sites. Good things for kids to do. Only negative was low water pressure in Women's showers. Gotta love Bear Lake!

first time staying at k o a .alittle pricey for me.One complete,speed limit in campground 5mph. People would drive way to fast kicking up dust.If you are going to have a speed limit please enforce it

People at the campground were great. The Trailside location isn't as nice as the Marinaside campground, but it's within walking distance, and you can still use the facilities there. The pull through spot I was in only had 50 amp and 20 amp, so I had to use my adapter to plug in my 30 amp rig. I probably wouldn't have been able to use both A/C units if I'd needed them, but luckily I didn't.

Staff personel were great, kind and friendly. Just the Body site green areas, not so green.

We were in one of the little cabins and found it cozy but adequate, except the door was difficult to lock; you had to pull real hard to line up. We were very happy to have an air conditioner since it was very hot all week long. It would have been better if we had a couple of trees to help shade us when we were outside at the picnic table. The campground and restroom facilities were very clean.

Came from Banberry Idaho drive to Bear Lake. I was charged n RV fees when I had only primitive setup. Stay was ok. Site table was wooden n warped n showed signs of wear. Mens: The show stalls was small. 1 toilet for all the guests that I could see. Also toilet was clogged n over flowed. Camp site was clean n had decent/good amenities except a pool.

Mattress on bed not the most comfortable. Hard to get out of the bed easily if not sleeping on the edge. Liked having fridge, microwave and tv in the room.

The biggest problem was that the sewer connection was on the high side of the trailer (site 22) and had new pipe that was about 8 inches above the ground. Do you believe the swage will flow up hill. I had to keep lifting the pipe above the connection over and over to get my trailer drained. Not at all satisfying. I WILL NOT BE BACK

Bear lake is beautiful, but this KOA and their advertising is quite misleading. You think the park is beautiful and right on water from pics which is not the case. It’s a very basic KOA - not much shade and most sites are buddy spots so sharing your main space. Would not choose to stay here again. Had issues with laundry. Broken and crappy. Marina side is much nicer, shady and lots of amenities.

This was a very neat, well-maintained property. We enjoyed the campground itself. The older lady who runs the desk is pretty rude. She was angry with two of the other staff and proceeded to drop many obscenities loudly next to the basketball court and playground in front of many children. My two children ran back and reported it to us. A couple of F bombs and GD in front of children by staff.

This was an overnight stay on our trip to Yellowstone, and The staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to get to our campsite. I would stay here again, might even make it a destination stop,

only issue is that the bathroom paper towels were never refilled so nothing to wipe your hands on. we even reported it at the store but still not replaced.

Recommendation by Susan for dinner was great along with all her other helpful information. There were some noisy vehicles coming in and out of the campground in the evening, some after dark which was annoying.

We stayed in the group site with the enclosed area and hot tub. Everything was clean and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I feel you owe me a refund for the tent site I purchased. I was told no tents at the trailer site, so I paid over4 $200. For a 4 night tent site. Then across the way the put up a tent on the grass, so I wasn’t told the truth.. Also on Thursday July 21 the lady working that day was so rude. I expected so much more from KOA. Please refund my tent site T24 money to my credit card.Penny Pyle

Nice clean friendly, lawns last yr. Greener, bathroom shower one in ladies need repair, no one on duty to patrol loose dogs but overall I’d return just can see a difference in a year. The staff in office so very friendly.

The hours of the office open is not good. We leave early in the morning and come back in the late afternoon. So the office was closed every time we needed to talk or pay for extra person to stay. Also, no tents on trailer sites. We have been coming to this area for 20 years and we have put a tent next to our trailer for our adult children. We are willing to pay but policy will not allow.

We had a total of 4 campsites & 3 cabins. I called the week before our arrival to confirm site numbers and days of stay. When I got there all the campsites dates were wrong and sites were not face-to-face as I had requested (even though they told me they were). My family was told to move vehicles one place and then someone else would tell them to move the cars to another place. VERY DISSAPPOINT

The grass was all dead. I checked in on a Wednesday and left on a Sunday. Open sites were never watered during that time. The grass throughout the park was dead.

We have stayed here every time we visit Bear Lake. The sites are the perfect size and we love all the amenities! We plan our annual trip to this KOA every year.

It’s a basic pull through site with the grass barely alive and dusty roads all around. Susan The host was awesome and very helpful. It is super close to launch a boat at the state park just 1/4 mile away

Clean restrooms and showers but their "on demand" water heaters did not give me enough hot water. Icy cold showers that made my scalp feel frozen. Nice sites with some shade. We had 4 sites for family reunion, 2 buddy sites and 2 more buddy sites across the road. Also had tent site which had plenty of grass and parking. Not allowed tent on RV site or off road vehicles at site (Polaris RZR).

We had a great experience. This KOA site is smaller but we loved it. There was still things for the kids to do and we were able to go over the Marina site also to use the pool and the amenities there. We will be back for sure!

We liked how this KOA was smaller and quieter, but allowed us to go to the neighboring KOA to use their pool and other kid friendly amenities. The bathrooms were clean, and the playground kept the kids happy while the adults relaxed at camp.

We loved everything but the shower in the women’s bathroom (the one with the seat) had no water pressure. It was only a drizzle and was not well maintained. I haven’t had this experience before so I wanted to share this feedback so it can be improved. Thanks for a great stay!

The trail side needs more trees. The marina side seems much more cozy. That being said, easy in and easy out. Everything worked well and we didn't have any issues.

Bathroom Facilities were clean and good got water. We would have preferred the KOA on the main road because that is where we stayed without kids years ago.

Beautiful scenery in all directions, it was too bad we were only passing through for 1 night, it was quiet and mostly empty since school had started a week or so before we stayed there, planning a family vacation here next Summer.
