At the Batesville KOA Journey, many activities are available from Memorial Day through Labor Day every year. Recreational activities take place every weekend, and themed weekends include special activities. Enjoy a day in the sun by the side of one of our two pools. One pool area has a depth of 3 feet to 5 feet and it also has a splash pad with beach-entry safe entrance for the little ones. The larger pool that ranges in depth from 3 feet to 9 feet has a baby pool as well for your little ones. Please be aware that anyone that is 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Thank you.

Enjoy fishing at the big 52 acre lake or one of our smaller lakes or ponds. Fish are catch and release No fishing license required.

Batesville Area Skatepark

Batesville Area Skatepark

Located right beside Liberty Park is the NEW Batesville Area Skatepark. The skatepark was recently completed and opened to the public. It is the perfect spot for beginners and experienced skaters alike. While the park is finished, there is still work behind the scenes regarding a pump track and bouldering wall. The Wolf Creek Habitat is truly a unique experience near Batesville, Indiana. Admission to view the wolves from the observation deck and to take pictures is free. Brum Woods - Lena's Nature Trail

Brum Woods - Lena's Nature Trail

The Brum Woods consists of 80 acres of woods with a network of hiking and biking trails that span several miles throughout the woods. The trails are maintained by the city of Batesville and individuals of the community known as "The friends of Brum Woods."  There are a variety of plant and animal species that can be found in Brum woods along the hiking and biking trails.

Liberty Park

Liberty Park is located in the heart of Batesville. The park features playground equipment, a baseball field and grandstands, two tennis courts, a basketball court, disc golf course, and pickleball court. The park has both shaded and sunny areas for park-goers. Part of the Brum Woods and Lena Nature Trail intersects with Liberty Park.

Bischoff Reservoir

Bischoff Reservoir

Bischoff Reservoir is an estimated 190 sq acres located in Batesville, Indiana. Anglers can expect to find a variety of fish including Smallmouth bass, Largemouth bass, channel catfish, and white crappie. The reservoir's peak fishing time is around 10am-12pm but times and forecasts can vary depending on the weather.

White Pine Wilderness Academy

White Pine Wilderness Academy

White Pine Wilderness Academy is a nature connection and survival skills school. They use wilderness survival skills, aboriginal technologies, and ancestral ways to foster a connection with nature and each other. The academy is located on the island of Rocky Ripple in Indianapolis, Indiana between the Wapahani River and the canal. There are different programs for all ages from three to ninety-nine with all different lengths from a full day to half day to weekends.
