From Louisville, KY: Take I-65 North to exit 50A to merge onto US-50 E/Indiana's Historic Pathways - North Spur toward N Vernon (9.3 miles). At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto Indiana's Historic Pathways - North Spur(3.8 miles. Turn right onto Buckeye St/Indiana's Historic Pathways - North Spur (1.4 miles). At the traffic circle, take the 1st exit onto US-50/Indiana's Historic Pathways - North Spur (23.8 miles). Turn left onto IN-129 N (16.2 miles). Turn right onto State Rd 46 E. The in-depth look at the 600 acres of land that surrounds the ranch only continues from there, and during your ride, you will cross hills, streams and waterfalls.
Whether you are looking for something fun for half a day or want to spend the whole day experiencing the beauty of Salt Creek Ranch, there are a few different trail ride options available.
Take a peaceful journey through the camp's woods. During your ride, one of the ranch guides will point out natural attractions and scenic areas perfect for pictures.
The two-hour ride is a longer option that enables you to see more of our ranch. Pack a light picnic to enjoy and a camera to take pictures. As with the one-hour ride, one of the guides will be present to ensure you are safe on your horse while pointing out attractions.
The saddle and paddle is a more immersive trail riding option as it includes a trail ride and a 12-mile canoe trip for a unique way to experience the ranch. Bring a lunch to eat on the river or the trail and get ready to spend the day soaking up the tranquility of nature.
