I’ve stayed here before on a previous trip across country. The facilities were nice, so I decided to stay here again. I was not disappointed.

Love the staff, place is cleaner & greener than last year. Am worried that we will lose our favorite place to park our small trailer (T15), we used to park in (T16), but with the new benches, we had to move to (T14), now there is a cabin there. We enjoy having a safe clean place to park.

Building a home is hard. Building it from 750 miles away is harder. The Calico KOA is about at the half way point traveling to our property where we are building our future retirement home after renting for 40 years in the San Francisco bay Area. It's like an Oasis in the middle of the Mojave. We truly appreciate the clean bathrooms and a campsite out of the winds of the desert. Thank you!

The campground was a good last stay on our way back to Las Vegas. It was pretty expensive, though, for not much service. The toilets are old, the camping spots (tent only) do not have much shade (especially in the morning). There is the possibility for late check-in, though. All in all, we have booked similar campgrounds in California for much less money (10-40$ per night).

Spent one night here in a basic tent site without water or electricity. Nice place, great view. Right by the freeway so there's some noise, but that's not a big deal. One of the bathrooms needed to have the door handle fixed, but that's the only suggestion for improvement. Otherwise, good place.

We had such a great time this staff was so friendly I'm such a quiet place to relax and camp every relaxful time around the pool and things close by this was our second time and plan on going the same time next year but adding extra days to stay longer we were happy campers

This is an extremely nice facility with some of the nicest and most accommodating staff we have encountered. Penny and Amber went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed and I really hope they are compensated wellfor all their time. We actually left another nearby KOA early because of how poorly kept it was, and came to the Calico KOA instead and it was so enjoyable. We will be back!

The lady that helped me at the front desk was amazing. Everyone that works here was cool. Nice and quiet. Super clean. I’d definitely come back. Thanks, everyone! :)

Only one of the three men's showers was operating and one of the three "back-40" restrooms were out of soap and toilet paper. For the amount paid, I think this KOA could have done much better. My previous stay at the KOA in Perry UT was a very positive stay. I was not asked to rate them but will say the services were very good.

It was a great stay. We appreciated the pool being opened ahead of the scheduled date of 4/20. My wife and I were able to enjoy some time there during our stay. Always a pleasure staying at Barstow KOA.

Great location! Very nice campground. Office is stocked well. Camp site is pull thru and very clean! Great campground!

Large pull in sites. Clean and quiet park. Close to Calico Ghost Town and off road 4x4 park. Easy on and off the Freeway. Motorhomes can be re-fueled just up the road.
