Friendly staff, convenient location. Clean bathroom which is really nice. Not a destination but good “in between other destinations”. Need to upgrade the toilet paper. It’s cheap and thin and not in line with KO A standards.

This KOA has 360 degree views of the mountains. However, with it's location to open desert, it was noisy when dirt bikes and side by sides drove from their campsites out into the desert. There were also campers up talking loud and hollering long into the night. There were a handful of washers and dryers that were out of order, but there were enough for us to use. The sites are very level.

We changed sites as the site originally assigned was in the midst of a group. They deserved to have a good time, but we had traveled several hours and needed naps. We really appreciate the new site which was very quiet. Barstow KOA is clean, good showers, and after many stays to break up travels we now (finally!) know which sites to request.

Sites were level and easily accessible. Great water pressure in the showers, plenty of hot water.

We was put in the middle of side by side group they had mini bikes motor bikes doing circles around are coach and kicking dust up so we couldn’t enjoy the outside the quiet time is 10:00 and that didn’t happen also the had tables and chairs in the road way. Nobody from management said a word it was all very disrespectful hopefully this can be addressed .

The water pressure is on the low side at 34 psi. The bench and concert table were a nice addition. The real estate is locate near I-15 which lends to annoying interstate traffic sounds.

I paid for a 50 amp spot after we were set use realized the hook up spot was all melted so we had to hook up to 30 amps. Fortunately it wasn’t to hot and we didn’t need a/c.

The campground is conveniently located and for us was a good last stop before Los Angeles. The playground is old and not safe anymore, there are loose stairs on the slide etc. it just looks completely worn. But the most annoying thing: there was a group of people partying until 1:30 am, so no one was able to sleep. Obviously this did not interest the staff at the playground.

Not super attractive except for overnight. Too windy to use swimming pool but the gaming room closed at 8pm. Too early when nothing else to do there. I suppose as a base might be good.

It's fine for an overnight stop. My problem is the $20 fee charged for arriving 45 minutes early for check in.

A very nice park and easy to check in after hours with guidance from the nighttime rep. He was very efficient and helpful, escorting us to our site with his ATV. Later that night, my husband (with mild dementia) took our dog out for a short potty break and later the same young man drove into our camp with my husband and dog in tow. Apparently he got lost and the alert rep came to the rescue!

Main men’s bathroom and shower were closed down. Was not told that cable was not working until after we were at the site. Asked for a discount and was told they would see what they could do. Have not received a refund.

Clean area, playground nice, one restroom was cleaned and closed before our time to leave was up and leaving the other bathrooms without toilet paper and a mess. Also our club rented out the whole facility and it would be NICE for the pool to be heated for our event.

Place is very dirty staff not very friendly. Did not like are site at arrival to much sun wife asked if anything availed staff said they were to busy.Got to site very dirty cigar butts and cigarette butts in bbq and on the ground. Went to do laundry all big machine and others say out of order. But staff come in and use the wash and dry machines that say out of order while other people are waiting.

First time staying at a KoA and was impressed. Staff was friendly, restrooms were clean and looked like they were recently remodeled. Will be visiting KoA’s again.

It was good for a one night stay to do laundry. Once again the cable was not working. Don’t arrive 30 minutes early or you pay $20. I guess if they were still cleaning the site I could understand but that was not the case picked up trash on my site. But if you want a quick one night it’s ok

We really enjoyed the upgraded site with the Paw Pen (very clean) and all the additional seating and pergolas and lighting. The kids REALLY enjoyed the hammocks and the dog loved being off-leash inside his own area. Also very private with the fence and Paw Pen. Happy the pool was open before its scheduled date, the kids enjoyed that. Thanks for a great time, we will be back!

We were charged $20 for an early 1/2 hour check in. We were having problems with our 5th and needed to get a mobile repair as soon as possible, so waiting around was not an option No other park we have stayed in has been that inflexible.

We really like the friendly, helpful staff. We also enjoy the new pet sites. Although they are slightly more costly, they are convenient when traveling with our two dogs.

It was a decent place. The bathroom was clean but oddly tiles were missing from the wall. I was annoyed that when I arrived at 13:08 they wanted $20 for early check in. The space was clearly empty as was much of the campground. Most places allow check in at noon. This seemed similar to an airline baggage fee. And for the price I paid I very surprised to see they charge for showers.

Netter Platz, leider stehen die Camper sehr dicht und der Weg zu den Toiletten ist dadurch sehr weit. Aber es gibt sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Danke für den Service.

On vacation. The only disappointing thing was the wind. It was terrible. The campground was nice, employees very nice. Our site was clean and nice but not a lot of room. We visited Calico Mine and that was fun. We'd come back.

I have been staying at this location for many years. Mostly coming and going to/from other destinations. There has been a huge improvement in this park over the past 2 years. The dog friendly sites with a private enclosed pet area are some of the best I have seen in the KOA system.

Friendly staff. IT'S A GREAT OVERNIGHTER Cause it's so close to highway it's noisey. If you like Utv it's a great place to be has excess to trails.A ghost town down the road. RAINBOW MT TO explore

We are camping in an RV this Barstow/Calico KOA is a very well maintained and the staff is great! The pool is awesome and our grandkids loved it! It's 106° today

This was an overnight stay while we were traveling. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly. We met some very nice fellow campers.
