Spaces were clear and enough room between puul-throughs. The dog park was nice and hardly any poop. There are 2 showers, one was nice the other one had mold, dirt, hair, etc under the floor mat. Of the three stalls only one had a full roll of TP. The coded door was open two times when I went in

It’s a solid, practical stopover: great hookups and helpful staff make it easy when you're passing through. The amenities are a nice bonus, especially if you're camping with kids or pets. Aside from the heat, it was a perfect trip. Hung out by the pool during the day and ride our bikes and went sightseeing in the morning and evenings. Everything was clean and working. No complaints, I do recommend either parking closer to the sewer dump or having at least 20’ of hose, as it is not right next to the water and power hookups like most places we’ve been. Still 10 out of 10.

Nice spot to stop for the night which is what we did. Nice clean spots and restrooms. Only complaint I have is someone decided to play music loudly until 100am!! Wish security would have been there all night to tell them to knock it off. I did not bother getting out of bed to tell them myself.

The park was clean the play area was great for the kids. The pool area looked nice but was closed by the county during our stay which disappointed the kids.

Everything was in good working order, the staff was pleasant and helpful. The sights are situated (angled) so that neighbors views are limited. This campground is in the middle of hot harsh desert and was a nice welcome place to camp while on the road.

Our stay was great. Power, water, didn't have to un-hitch. Lit well at night to talk a stroll with our pup and friendly staff.

We needed an overnight where we could pull through and leave the tow car connected. This KOA was easy in, easy out, close to the interstate and sites were sufficiently spacious and level to make that possible on a hot and windy day.

I really enjoyed my stay. The young man and women who worked in the mornings were very helpful and friendly. However, I did not receive the campsite that was on my reservation for which I'd already paid, the young lady working said she would call the owner, but I did not want my husband to have to move us. I also want to mention that the evening manager was not that friendly with guests.

The campground was clean and organized. All of the utilities were properly placed to make easy hook ups. The dog areas are especially appreciated.

It is a big gravel parking area. Pretty level and everything was very clean. The desk lady was polite friendly enough. No shade with hooks ups. It was 111 on June 17th. We drove on to Barstow about 5 miles. Had dinner and went to the Barstow movie theater. We saw 2 movies. And returned about 9 pm. Still around 96 degrees. I would advise an early in the year or much much later stay.

Easy online booking, check in efficient & friendly. Space assigned was adequate, although we barely fit with our tow. All gravel campground so dusty. Cable TV never worked after many attempts. When called the office, we were told it was green on their end??? It was ONLY campground in area, & we were traveling through, it suited our needs. About 10 miles from Barstow for shopping/restaurants.

We were there for only one night but we got a beautiful shaded area and the person that greeted us was super kind and helpful. The hookups were easy to do. It was quiet and kept very clean. Thank you.

Staff is great, made some changes ro add dog runs to several sights, but the plants that are planted will get large and an potential injury to dogs as the end thorns become stiff and dangerous. Those needles need to be cut off on a regular basis, cactus not the right choice for inside enclosure.

It's understandable that because I'm passing through California that the prices are going to be higher, (about $25). But, the standards should be the same. I've been to about 25 to 30 KOA's and I'm sorry to say that your campground was the dirtiest KOA that I ever stayed at.

Have stayed here twice for overnighters. Last leg of our trip home. Nice place in the heat of California Desert. Close to highway but road noise was not an issue. Close to the Calico mining town my dad would take us to as kids in the '60's, not far from Barstow if looking for a nice place to eat. Has all we needed for a reasonable overnight cost.

Good for a stopover. Just watch your pet as they have oleander bushes. I had to carry my dog to the park as she like bushes of any kind. It was very hot so we did not use any facilities

Nice, basic campground. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool was clean and well kept. Less than a mile from famous Peggy Sue's Diner. Worth a visit there. Overall, this KOA is nice. Thank you guys.

Had the best stay! Staff was friendly, and the cabin was clean and cozy. Lots of holiday touches, including activities for the kids. This year, Barstow KOA added decorative Halloween comforters (bedding) and other decorations throughout. It was a nice surprise to walk into a decorative space that I didn't have to plan. The kids loved it. Only steps from Calico Ghost Town, so ultra convenient (and these cabins are much nicer than the ones in the actual ghost town). We'll definitely be coming back!
