The parking space was Very un level! Thankfully we had enough leveling to make the trailer habitable. Everything else was fine! We will be stopping by in the future. Very convenient stopping place for us and our travel plan. Thank you for being there. James Howard.

We have stayed at the Calico/Barstow KOA many times because its location is a welcome break from driving in LA traffic as we return to or leave from home. This stay convinced us to look elsewhere. Paying $75 for 1 night is an all-time high price for a dirt site (w/e) barely big enough to accommodate our TT and TV unhooked. The office staff was indifferent, not at all what we experience at a KOA.

Clean facilities. Basic. Neighbors drunk and loud until 2am. Jesus music blasting across the entire front of the RV park. Office/store not open on time, with three to four people attempting to access it up until 830am.

KOA had great activities for the family during their Halloween party. Check in is super quick and easy. The campsite itself is very well maintained

It would have been nice to have been told at check in about the Halloween event, I would have stayed elsewhere. We are full time travelers and want a quiet and safe place to stay. With the off road vehicles tearing around camp, we felt neither. Do better for a KOA!! I would give you 0 stars,if I could.

We have driven by this place for years and always wanted to stay when we would see the big KOA sign from the side of the road . This place was awesome! Staff were amazing friendly and so accommodating! Highly recommend if you need a place to stay. Great job ! And thank you to the great staff !!

All staff are very nice . Me and my family have been coming here for years . We have atvs and love to ride . It’s the best of both worlds you have full hook ups with trailer and able to ride all right there .

The campground had a lot of character but needs some TLC. The campsite was fine but the laundry room was very dirty and many machines were out of order. The showers up in the main area were very small and did not have anywhere to set your belongings. I also tried the showers that were located out in the campground area and there was no hot water.

This was a surprising stay. I travel this route fairly often and did not know about this park. Not a bad place to stay. Everything was clean and organized. Sites were not crammed together. Bathrooms need updating. Dog park is nice and big. The back of the park opens right onto the desert for rzrs and sxs. BUT, one individual on the front desk is very unfriendly, both on the phone & in person.

The staff was knowledgeable about the local area and the park looked clean and orderly. My pull thru site had trees overhanging that blocked my Starlink signal. I used the camp internet and it worked just fine

Unfortunately the morning we were leaving all the water for the campground was shut off due to an issue at one of the sites. I am still waiting for a call or notification that we will be discounted our cost due to no water. I asked about it at our checkout and attendee was going to forward my question. I feel that would be fair to us as we had no water for our readiness to travel.

We weren’t expecting a lot going in as there have been a fair amount of negative reviews of the campground. They were nothing but nice to us. It’s a bit dusty/dirty but it’s so dry there so it’s fine. It’s in the desert. Not a lot to do in Barstow but we had fun.

This KOA is very fair on the price everything about it was working and nice. The store had items reasonably priced and the shower/bathrooms were clean. 2 thumbs up.

Very nicely maintained. Bathrooms were super clean. Showers were hot. Main office has lots of simple consumables that could be purchased and the desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Trash and recycling bins are also provided. I had a full service site that was extremely nice to have after having come back from a week of dry camping.

The only issue we had was that we paid on-line for a higher rate space but the dump station drain was strangely located at the other end of the space(?) The front desk gal (begrudgingly it seemed) assigned us another space but failed to mention if it was the same/diff rate than the higher rate space we paid for. Shaded vs unshaded? Location? It should’ve been clarified.

It’s very remote and I think the best park in the area. Large and desert like with access to tremendous open areas. Great for off-roading. Good for dogs. Negative is that they have tees on the water spigots for irrigation, makes it hard to use when dumping tanks.

This KOA is convenient for us as an overnight between Northern CA and Flagstaff. It's a decently well kept park that isn't too noisy despite being close to the freeway and the weather is a lot better than Needles.

Very nice park. Easy on and off I-15. Make sure to follow the directions provided by the park. RV accessible gas stations close by and on the road to and from the park. Park is easy to navigate with wide lanes. The utilities are well placed.

place is clean quiet and the staff super super accommodating, we did not use most of the amenities but we did go and take a look for the next time and I must say impressed, pool clean and operating with plenty of shaded areas and pool toys to use or rent game room was clean and looked inviting pool table foos-ball table board games. some of the vegetation looked drought stricken but signs of r

Had the best stay! Staff was friendly, and the cabin was clean and cozy. Lots of holiday touches, including activities for the kids. This year, Barstow KOA added decorative Halloween comforters (bedding) and other decorations throughout. It was a nice surprise to walk into a decorative space that I didn't have to plan. The kids loved it. Only steps from Calico Ghost Town, so ultra convenient (and these cabins are much nicer than the ones in the actual ghost town). We'll definitely be coming back!
