Lot's were not level, sewer was up hill from camper. Camp ground needs a lot of work roads in camp ground were very bad. There were campers look like full time look junkyard. The laundry room the washer and dryers were not clean. I can't believe this is a KOA. I would not recommend this camp ground to anyone

Spent a week visiting family and exploring the area. This is our fourth stay here. Nice wooded sites. The camp is well maintained. Bathrooms, showers and laundry always very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful.

This campground is built on a steep hillside. The sites are terraced, but the driveways are quite steep. Also, lots of ruts and pot holes on the dirt/gravel roads. Entering and exiting are challenging. We will likely not return, but others may not find it too difficult. The restrooms, showers and laundry can be a long walk uphill. The staff are exceptional and very friendly/welcoming.

Only there for one night as we were travelling thru but gal in office was very friendly and helpful. We had a back in site which was great and I would’ve liked to stay there for a few days. We will be back. Thanks

Great people they had flood issues to keep them busy & they still took great care of us getting a site we were happy with. Thanks to them hope things get better for them soon. Really a nice place!!!

Tight exit for big rigs with ruts in the roadway from our sight. Perfect KOA Journey with very easy access to highways. If you are not pressed for time spend a second day and visit the towns if Augusta and Gardiner.

VERY FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS STAFF, THE CAMPGROUND WAS REALLY CLEAN. I FOUND THE FIREWOOD A LITTLE EXPENSIVE.......... WHY DO YOU RENT KAYAKS, IF YOU DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO THE WATER? I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN NOT HAVING A PLACE TO LAUNCH MY CANOE

There are public boat luanches to various bodies of water all within 10 miles of the campground. The closest one is 1/2 mile from the campground.

The facility is pretty worn and in need of repairs and updating! Check-in staff were nice and helpful. Very convenient that our site was full hook up.

Clean and very quiet. Too far away from any points of interest like Boothbay or Freeport. The rutted roads leading to the sites are BAD. The camp store is very sparse. Arrived 30 minutes early to check in and was charged $10 even though site was ready. Ok, my bad, I guess. Spotty wi-fi. As far as KOAs go this was probably one of my least favorites.

Our checkout time is 12pm. Checkin time is 2pm. If you arrive at 11:30am there is an additional charge for the early checkin.

Great staff. Beautiful area. But place needs lots of outside maintenance. As a maintenance man myself I see lots of work that not getting done. Grading of driveway would be my first concern. Otherwise a beautiful place to stay.

Been a member for many years now , by far the worst KOA I have ever been to! The woman at the front desk, came out to greet me “BAREFOOT”! Advised me the roads were bad due to rain, bad! Bad? They were basically washed out.. 4x4 to get in and out of the site . Load of gravel on site, but not spread. This place is in need of an inspection. Camping on the side of a mountain… crazy!

It's a bit rustic however it was a very quiet campground not far from the highway. We had a pull thru site full hook up site. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

People were very nice but the campground needs work. Rain caused huge gullies in the road making it impossible to drive out of our pull thru site. We had to disconnect the car and back the rv and car out. They tried to fill the gullies but out hitch would have hung up if we had tried to drive over it.

Very nice park in a wooded setting with all the amenities you could want. Well stocked store and Campground is clean, well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Sites were nice and big, but unfortunately the rest of the vampirism is severely run down. Pool is small, no arcade, and the grounds need better upkeep. There is a Disc golf course that could have been great if it was maintained. It was an ok stay as compared to other local campground but we will not come again.

This was our first stay with our new RV. Very friendly staff and a nice site to walk the dogs! Loved that you could just drive in and go when we were done; Didn’t need to sharpen our RV parking skills!! The pool and jacuzzi very well kept as well as all the grounds! It was a little wet with all the soaking rain we got but nothing that Impacted our stay.

Attentive & helpful staff and owners. Terraced sites offer some privacy. Recommend crushed rock on our site to improve water drainage & provide a more level site. Satisfied with clean restrooms, laundry, pool and grounds.

Campground is very quite, clean facilities and friendly staff. Very dog friendly including dog walking area, dog park and nature walk. This was our first time visiting here and it is very convenient to many of the tourist destinations. Looking forward to our next visit.

My site was a swamp! Evidentially, there is a spring beneath it and the campground put hay down to absorb the water! Duh! Additionally the roads in the campground are very poor. I actually had to use four wheel low drive to exit my campsite. All I got from the owners was excuses. I won’t go there again.

Muddy and not conducive to BR. On the side of a hill. The site was shored up by logs to keep from washing away. Considering the price it’s way over priced.

We stayed there for only 2 days but would have stayed longer if they had availability. Sites were tight but due to the terracing they felt rather private. Everybody was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed here 3 nights as our base while exploring the area. Pull throughs are long and level, cut into the hillside. Bathrooms and laundry are modern and clean. Owners were pleasant check in a breeze.

This is a really nice place. The view is great. The pull thrus are very large with fire pit and piquenique table.

Late fall season stop so park was not crowded. We had a pull through spot #22 with full hook ups available. The park was gravel and a generous size, we were able to park easily 44' long motorhome and toad without disconnecting. Bathrooms were clean, on demand got water system for showers was marginal and water seemed overly softened. We would stay again if in the area.
