Very quiet, great staff

Fine for our overnight stay. A little more “rustic” than most KOAs we have tried, but very pleasant, with decent space between, tall trees for shade. Built on the side of a hill, but gravel site was plenty level. Would stay again overnight if going that way.

Quiet and peaceful. Sites well spaced and maintained.

Nice quiet campground with many open sites the night we stayed. Disappointing to watch the site next to us be used as a dump site all evening facing our side

This was our second time staying there and we had decided to book for our first trip this year as last year was great. I know that the owners can't control the weather but you could see that they had done a lot of work after our huge rainstorm a month ago when we had 6+ inches of rain in a few days and washed out many roads in the area of southern Maine.

One night stay, both times. Clean shower/bath facilities. Clean and fully functioning laundry facilities. Nice people running the camp.

Great quiet campground that we love. Had a relaxing weekend. Becky and Jay and their staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone.

the hosts are very nice and accommodating to your needs. Sites are located hill so the sites are terraced and are not crammed in like many KOA's .

All was perfect, very kindly staff, clean restrooms

Staff was extremely rude. Definitely no where near a kid friendly place. Will never recommend to any family!!

Very old and run down. Sites were narrow and muddy. We tried to walk the dogs but the ground was so uneven I almost fell five times. Went to do laundry and the washers were so filthy that I refused to use them, laundry room smelled of pot. Because of these reasons we left the next day. All the KOA campgrounds we stayed at have been very nice and clean. This RV park should be ashamed!

Jayant and Becky are amazing owners who will go out of the way to help you. They are centrally located in Maine about an hour from either Bangor or Portland very clean and well maintain campground. You have to stay here if your in the area you won’t regret it

We love this campground!!!! Very friendly owners and staff. Clean, relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of activities for the kids. Can’t wait to go back next year.

The lovely lady in the office, was so nice. But our stay wasn't the best. LOTS of barking dogs, which I wouldn't mind in moderation, I love pets - but this was a bit more than that. Also, the campground itself needs some updates. Our septic hook up was uphill and we were unable to use it. We left after one night, and they did give us a refund for the 2nd night. Thank you for doing that.

Wonderful experience. Staff was always friendly and quick to help with anything I needed. Everyone always had a smile. Truly enjoyed my stay and recommend to anyone looking to camp short or long term.

This KOA is obviously an older camp. It’s in a lovely rural setting but looks like it hasn’t had a thing done to it in 30 years. LOTS of potential, but none has been realized— yet. We had to use our 4-wheel drive just to get up the hill to our site. At the very least, the roads to the sites should be PAVED—it’s a real problem if you’re at the top of the hill! This KOA needs LOTS of

Great campground

Nice, flat sites. Good laundry room. Adequate showers. No paper towels or dryer for hands in bathroom. Beautiful walking trails, but not labeled. We walked into restricted area accidentally!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There is a hand dryer in the restroom.

Nice level sites, kind of close together but still with some good views. It was fall so lots of leaf blowing and ‘vacuuming’ every day pretty much all day which got annoying after a while but it also indicates they are taking good care of the campground.

Very nice staff and pull through sites amongst the trees. Our only unfortunate experience was the non-stop barking of a pack of dogs at a nearby site. We did ask if something could be done to no avail.

We stayed 3 nights at the KOA and enjoyed our stay. A convenient location, clean facility, and wonderful camp hosts. Highly recommend this KOA.

Only stayed 1 night. I needed to do laundry. The laundry facilities were busy, so I had to wait until evening. There was no lighting going to laundry room. Pavement was Extremely uneven. I stumbled once, good thing I didn't fall. Wash machines jumped around when spinning, so bad I had to hold them down. Campsite was not even close to level.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your feedback. The wasing machines do sound loud when spinning, but you dont need to hold them down. The sites are on gravel pads and are fairly level, yes sometimes it is not prefect, if you park not just so or do not have levelers that work in your motor home.

Beautiful grounds. Especially with the leaves changing.

We had a couple of overnighters there and the owners were very accommodating when we had to change dates due to weather. The bathrooms were in the process of being updated and were very clean. I would stay there again without question.

We had a fantastic stay at Augusta / Gardiner KOA Enjoyed the pool and the staff accommodating us with an upgraded site. The young girl in the office was a pleasure to deal with and did an excellent job with her customer service skills. We would highly recommend a stay at this campground

Only stayed for one night and would come back for a longer stay. Staff was helpful and picked up and filled our propane tank. Lots of trees and large campground for long walks with the dogs. Conveniently located off of freeway. Easy to pull in and out of our site with our 40ft 5th wheel.

The campground is very "basic" without a lot of activities or amenities. The campground could use some maintenance and upgrades. Seems like it is more setup for older adults and not younger adults with children. I stayed here out of its convenience to Interstate 295 and needing to go to Portland, ME for a show on Saturday night. Probably won't return to this campground again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

As a Journey KOA, we tend to have campers come to our campground on they way to/from elsewhere. We planned activies from Memorial Day to Labor day. We have a playground, snookball, volleyball, gaint conect four, gaint jenga, color wall, pool table, laser tag, balls & more. Just Ask in office.

Stayed here 3 nights as our base while exploring the area. Pull throughs are long and level, cut into the hillside. Bathrooms and laundry are modern and clean. Owners were pleasant check in a breeze.

Late fall season stop so park was not crowded. We had a pull through spot #22 with full hook ups available. The park was gravel and a generous size, we were able to park easily 44' long motorhome and toad without disconnecting. Bathrooms were clean, on demand got water system for showers was marginal and water seemed overly softened. We would stay again if in the area.
