Very nice location. Easy ride to Augusta and Waterville. They were flexible in scheduling when I had to extend. Very friendly service. Clean showers and toilet stalls.

Was off putting when I had guests. Sometimes they charged, sometimes not. When there was confusion on the part of my guest as far as who was registering who, felt like we were being inundated by the campground helpers In golf carts driving back and forth our site checking up on us. I didn’t realize what was going on until someone finally stopped to remind us my guest had to register.

We were very impressed with how clean and well kept the grounds and buildings were! We stayed 9 days as we have lots of friends and relatives in the area to visit, and our children were made welcome as they came and went over our stay. My daughter plans to come back in her own at a future date, and we will be back to visit !!

This campground could use some TLC. Our site was fine, the restroom/showers were clean. While the pool was clean, the area around the pool needed to be swept. The grass needed trimming and shrubs could use pruning in some areas. The campground driveways are uneven and need work.

No cable TV and the sewer connection was to high from the ground making draining my tanks a challenge. Sure was a good size.

A no frills campground. Sites are small. Staff provides wifi password only to find out once sign in, a fee is attached to it. Pool is small. Works well as a basecamp to do day trips. Definitely fits a journey description. Served our purpose but definitely not as nice as any of the other koa's we have stayed at.

The staff was very nice and the laundry room was clean. So how would I describe Augusta/Gardiner KOA "Rustic" In the true definition It's a campground. My only complaint would be the roads need some work. It a great small park to stay for a week or couple days. We would stay again.

Loved our 3night stay . So much room on our site, our dog loved seeing other dogs and was very comfortable and safe. Brought our grandkids to the pool and playground, they loved it and can’t wait to go back. We will definitely go back!!!

The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the site was nice enough for my small 16' camper. There were what appeared to be permanent campers with sketchy looking trailers and vehicles with no license plates, which seemed strange. As for the cleanliness, the shower curtains very much need replacing.

It had a store..only good part. No mini golf....ZERO privacy...sites are literally on top of each other...staff constantly out in loud golf carts....watching you...$60 a night was a rip off....I've stayed other places $38 a night with Far more privacy and amenities. Wasn't much fun...loose dogs all over...dogs barking constantly

Very clean and quiet campground. Sites are moderate size and level. Very accommodating, allowing us to check out late and keep the RV on site. Owners are very pleasant and friendly.

The owners were so great! We ran out of flour cooking pancakes for our three year old twin boys and they didn’t sell flour in the campground store, but the owner gave us a bag of their own flour free of charge. It was very kind.

This is a child-friendly, pet-friendly campground. It reminds me of when I was a child and my parents would take us five kids camping. I love this place. It feels welcoming and safe, and everything is clean and well maintained. I stay in a tent, and the sites are in a wooded section that is not too far from the bathrooms. The Pavilion has comfortable chairs, electric outlets, and wifi.

Lots of things advertised and no longer available. No firepit at our site. Land not level. Picnic table at a slat. Lot had a soft spot. Some trash left behind.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The only thing that we use to have that was not available was mini golf which we just removed due complaints, We will be upgrading it. No fire ring, ask and we could of checked and got back on the site. Picnic table could of been moved, next time ask, we can move it to a better spot

Great family run campground! Restrooms and showers are very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The location is great and is located within a few miles of hiking, kayaking and very close to Gardner Maine. However, This campground is more of an RV campground than for tenting. There are 8 tent sites and are very small (but clean). I would definitely go to this campground again!

Full hookups, pretty level site. They're a little narrow, but great fun at the pool for the kids, fun disc golf, activities for kids (crafts, candy hunt), and a really friendly staff!

Nice site protected from the sun. Firewood bundle was a very nice mix of wood, easy to splinter. Friendly and helpful staff. Camp store had nice mix of items available

I found the owners to be a little unpleasant. The campsites are very narrow . There was an incident that involved my 6yr old and two older boys. Rough play and teasing. We were asked to leave. Owners felt that it was the 6yr old fault. Very unfortunate that they accused the 6 yr old without listening to both sides of the problems. We were scheduled to stay for 2 weeks only there for 2 days.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The camper was asked to leave because his child physically hurt two different children on two different occasions. One day he swung a golf club like a bat onto the child's back which ended up bruising. Another day he elbowed a different child (who is special needs) and hurt kid's ankle.

Was a little disappointed with the mini golf, but three fireworks for the 4th of July were great! The disc golf course could have been better marked, but it was still fun! Everything was very clean and the staff was super friendly.

It was easy to check in, and everyone was very friendly. There was a fun playground and a couple of other amenities that we didn't have time to try out. We did buy some firewood and they hand delivered it to our campground!

Beautiful and well maintained campground. We were here in mid- or late-October. The trees and leaves had amazing colors! The KOA has the usual clean bathrooms, showers, laundry, playground, dog run, walking trail, and game room. There were picnic tables and fire rings at each mostly-level campsite. Of course the in-ground pool was closed in October. The store was well organized and well stocked. Very pretty area.

The rv sites are built into the hillside to give privacy between sites. Owners and staff are very helpful and friendly
