I do give 5 stars tho have 1 issue. First our stay was great! The grounds/ bathrooms everything is super clean! I most enjoyed i can walk across road and have miles and miles of paved trails to walk with dogs daily! So many other trails as well . Many activities for families. My issue was we wanted site with dog pen ( which 2 were open during our stay), when booked i was told none open.

Great Easter weekend. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate. Staff was able to let us move spots. Site was a little tight and could not get our awning out because of a structure. Every thing was clean and tidy around the whole site.

Nice stay but I do think you guys are starting to (nickel and diming) campers to death. That is why I think there was less campers this Easter weekend vs last years Easter

We had a great time as first time campers at this KOA. The kids had a lot of fun with the play area and especially the pool! The bathrooms and showers were nice a clean. Only wish there were diaper changing stations in the bathrooms.

Staying at the Astoria KOA has been a family tradition for us for over 20 years. We've had graduation parties & family reunions there. Close to a lot of attractions.The shipwreck, the goonie house, & the trolley car.Just to mention a few. We do miss the free pancake breakfast.

The staff was very friendly, the amenities were plentiful, the activities (weekends only) were so much fun, and overall we had a relaxing time.

Nice facilities overall. Gravel roads around the park need attention. Unable to use the outside picnic table due to the dusty conditions. Even with no cars the wind blew up the dust. Unable to leave trailer door open due to dust. Camp site was not mowed and had several pot holes. Level and mow. Dog owners using several unattended camp sites for dog business. Pathetic. Have a designated area

Great campground, so much to do and see there and the surrounding area. The camp is clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Great visit in a shoulder season. Indoor activities/options kept the kids busy. Would be nice to have the ice cream open for a few hours daily!

We loved everything about our stay here. Our granddaughters loved the bounce pillow and the tetherball. There was so much to do we just didn't have enough time to do it all. Our only complaint was all of the unsupervised kids in the hot tub. While we were there , there were 2 kids about 10 and one about 2 or 3. No adult near by. Later there were about 10 kids getting rowdy in it.

It was awesome! So many on site activities to participate in. The grandkids loved the pool and jacuzzi also the scooter bikes , bounce pillow, and mini golf. The staff was exceptional very friendly and informative. The site comes with Wi-Fi, cable and garbage pickup. So very convenient! And close to the ocean, Seaside and Astoria so many places to explore. Thanks for the great stay.

Staff was friendly, check in was easy, pool was clean, bathrooms clean, plenty of activities One disappointment we had was our bbq grill was rusted and not in working order. Fortunately we brought our own grill. We didn't bother to mention it to anyone.

We loved the location of this KOA & the staff were great. The things that were disappointing: 1. The chlorine levels were SO high in the spa/pool area that we couldn't swim for more than 10 minutes. Our eyes and lungs were burning. 2. The video games don't work well and they took our money/coins several times. 3. We spent $22 on firewood that was not dry and wouldn't burn.

It was a great time at the KOA and we will be back. Although we didn't have kids with us, we were impressed with how many fun activities were available for the kiddos. We saw a heard of Elk come through the resort our last night there which was a magical bonus!

Great place! We will stay again. One request... It was raining for the majority of the time, once the rain cleared the S'mores express train was running from 12-1, The line was long as many kids had been cooped up, but time ran out and not everyone was able to participate. Considering the circumstances the time should have been extended to accommodate the kids still in line at the cut off time.

I always love KOA. But part of the reason we stay here is the hottub. And that was not working. Also our tv connection wouldn't work, I was in site 208 and tried two different coax cables and I the TV could only pick up two and sometimes three channels and they were extremely snowy. Other sites I have stayed in have worked just fine. So that was a bummer.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We're so sorry you didn't get to enjoy the hot tub this visit. The hot tub heater unexpectedly stopped functioning and was beyond repair unfortunately. The new heater has shipped and is expected to be back up and running by Friday, April 4th barring an unforeseen setbacks with the install.

This is such an awesome Koa! The staff are super friendly and helpful! The activities this campsite offers are super fun and well cared for. The cabin we stayed in was nice made for a really great Birthday trip!

Very nice campground with some mature trees. Playground. Some of the sites have dog pens! There are cabins and campsites that are pull through. We didn't stay there but I was impressed.
