The Legend of Forrester Bigolopagus

Some people say Bigfoot doesn't exist... but we know better at Astoria/Warrenton/Seaside KOA!
Forrester Bigolopagus isn't like every other Bigfoot spotted in these parts. Oh yes, he is 8 hairy feet tall, 650 pounds, has huge feet and doesn't smell very good, but we love him!

BABE IN THE WOODS
Forrester was born in the forest in a nest made of twigs, branches and pine needles right next to the Columbia River. He was an ugly baby with a face only a mother could love. When he was about 10 years old, she dropped him off at out KOA. She knew that we would take good care of him.
When we hear his thunderous footsteps, we know he's coming to find us to give him lunch. He loves to eat salad, apples, peanut butter, bacon, donuts, bagels and raw liver... yuck! He sometimes visits Forrester's Cafe on a Sunday morning for a HUGE stack of yummy pancakes.

BIG FEET, OF COURSE!
His footprints are so big that the rain collects in them and forms mud puddles. Go ahead, put on your boots and raincoat and splash in them! Then take a trip over to the beach and check out the Peter Iredale shipwreck. If the tide is out you can splash around there, too.
Forrester can see at night. That's why he has big eyes. His arms are longer than the rest of his body, which makes him really good at giving hugs.

SHY BUT HUGGABLE
But he can be very shy and might run away, so you will have to watch for him to get a free hug. Maybe he would like a s'more, so make sure you make an extra one!
His favorite pastime is throwing rocks, so watch out if you see one coming your way. You'd better duck! He runs fast and you may never see or catch him running through Fort Stevens State Park.
Whenever you visit us, be on the lookout for Forrester. He's just waiting to say hello!

Make sure that you check out our Bigfoot books and research kits at the KOA store.
