This was our second visit this year and it was pleasant. We like the easy check-in process and it is very nice to have all the amenities within walking distance. The outdoor pool closes after labor day however the weather was beautiful and our cabin was directly across from the pool so it would have been nice if they had a little flexibility on the timeline for the pool closure.

First time to a KOA! The cabin was well designed for the size. So nice to have both a indoor/outdoor pool....we missed the outdoor pool due to being out of season. The extra building with showers and bathrooms was handy. The firepit was great to have marshmallows and hotdogs. We cooked steaks on the BBQ. We lucked out with the weather too! The staff was great too! We will be back!!!

Friendly crew! Nice cabins. Worth the price. Word of advice (suggest only 2 per small cabin. (Gets a little snug beyond that!) Will go again for sure.

I had a propane leak in cabin KL06 that they couldn't seem to find, which made a lot of our camping time with construction people searching around and under our cabin. The front door had to be slammed 3 times in order for it to shut. The bedroom walls were so filthy that I have no clue when the last time they fully cleaned the cabin. My in-laws stayed in KL04 and had to have their heater fixed.

The staff and activities offered each day were great. We had a lot of fun and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The WiFi did not work unless you are staying close to the main lodge if that is important to you. Also the showers and bathrooms by the pool were very nice, however the other ones were kind of dirty and didn’t look like they are cleaned very well.

We enjoyed a family campout at the KOA in Astoria. There was plenty to do and we had a beach day nearby in Seaside. The cabin was just the right size for 4 people over a weekend. There were bathrooms close by and the food at Gray’s Comfort BBQ was awesome. Highly recommend!

We had a 3-night stay and it was wonderful, the bathroom and showers were always clean, a must for me. Our teenagers loved all the things to do, especially the rec room and the pool. We will definitely be back.

For the price, the restrooms and shower facilities should be maintained better. I did not have children traveling with me, but this was a great spot for children entertainment.

My husband has asthma really bad and the blinds were super dirty and I had to clean the air conditioner before using also didn’t use the other one because it also was dirty pretty sure they need new filters and the pillows smelled we did ask for more and they gave us brand new ones thank you! It's fun, it's safe, great middle location between the towns, lots to do at the KOA. However, the place needs some serious TLC. The facilities needed cleaned, the pool and the game room etc. Our room had mold on the caulking for bathtub and it overall had a musk that clung to us, it was the only cabin our whole trip that smelt poor. Trash, dirt and debri was left in cabin from previous attendant

There were so many fun things to do we ran out of time for it all! It’ll be exciting to come back. Everyone was friendly, the place was clean, and it was a nice experience. The only thing I thought was an issue was the WiFi strength. I was told it was not strong for things like streaming, but I had difficulty checking e-mails. I got an email that said come and pay for Friday and get Saturday for free. I reserved the last camping cabin available. the children had a wonderful time. We like to ride bikes to the ocean and then swim till bedtime at the indoor pool.

When I started coming you had FREE pancake breakfast, FREE ice cream socials, FREE s’mores making, FREE arcade games, FREE fun crafts. Now you have taken everything away or you charge for it. We pay more and get less! The free craft is a coloring sheet or a cheap little sticker project. It was disappointing and we have discussed ending our stay. There is soooo much potential! Use it!!!!

Our stay was amazing! One suggestion, though, is to switch to FRAGRANCE FREE cleaners. The Clorox like smell upon entering our cabin was overpowering! Had to open windows and not unpack for a full hour! Alternatively at least leave windows open after cleaning and come back later to close!

The campground was almost completely sold out, and the restroom earlier in the day had all stalls open, but by about 6pm they had put "gone Fishing" signs on three of the 5 stalls. Every time we needed to go to the restroom for the remainder of the stay we had to wait in a line. Even at about 2 in the MORNING!! It was obvious that someone didn't want to clean the stalls

We would have loved to get to experience the entirety of what the camp has to offer, however most of the activity’s were closed like the train, movies, outdoor pool and gem mining. The cabin was extremely dusty. We have dust allergies and were all inflamed, the A/C unit was dirty and had some black mildew on the bottom. We did appreciate the kind employees. The location of the cabin was too busy

Great location, spots are pretty close to each other throughout the park, so be prepared for limited privacy. On the main driveways, I would be cautious a few of the main driveways are marked as one way directions on one side of the driveway, but on the opposite of the same driveway are two way, so it really causes confusion and backups, especially during check in time. Great staff and service. I went to the main office to report an issue with our electrical, and they had a repair person at our site before I could even get back to the site. A one man BBQ take out only restaurant is on site, attached to the smaller store next to the outdoor pool. Service is slow since it's the one person, but if you aren't in a rush, it's pretty good. If you are in a tent or a non-hard side trailer like a popup or hybrid, can be a bit of noise with all of the kids and close quarters, so would recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
