first trip of the season to our favorite close to home campground. staff was friendly and helpful. we visit this park probably 3-4 time a year.

Campground was very nice and clean. Quiet for most of the time. We extended our stay by one day. Paid for the extra day then we were charged for 3 xtra days. Went to office to inquire and was told that he thought we were staying 3 more days. I did not authorize the charge nor did I even deal with the gentlemen that did the extra charge. It was not even my signature on the signed receipt .

AMAZING! Beautiful campground, wonderful staff, super friendly campers. Very clean, tons of stuff to do, and with the constant staff driving the campground it felt so safe. I will be back to this campground again!! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

My only regret is that we only stayed 2 nights. Not enough time to fully enjoy KOA activities and to visit Astoria and surrounding area.

The park was great we had a great time except for the two very loud vehicles that were driving throughout the park after midnight Sunday night. We definitely will come back

We stays in our RV Loved everything about this place. We walked the whole place countless times. My only suggestion clean up/ rake the RC track and the tent spots by the creek were filthy, need to clean off the pine cones and debris…will book here again and again so many employees driving around but no one doing upkeep.

We had a wonderful time! The campground was lovely with so many activities! The bathrooms were very nice and SUPER clean! We had the best time and can't wait to come back!

Overall, I was really impressed with this KOA. My only complaint might be that the office as well as the main KOA switchboard are impossible to reach by phone. Phones are still a thing.......:)

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the RV portion site 359. It was exactly as we hoped it would be. We also got a cabin for my sister and her husband unit KK34 that was not as clean as it should have been tissues at the end of the beds cobwebs in the corners. It obviously had been sometime since anyone did a thorough clean of that cabin.

We just did one night but will definitely be back! From the friendly staff to all the amenities it was great! The kids had so many things to choose from to do! Very clean as well.

Overall it was fine, but the noise was crazy. I thought there was a quiet time, but apparently not. Kids and adults were loud and drinking, some were even vomiting off the cabin porches. It was awful. And nothing is done to keep the noise down. Also, the stove in the Kamp Kitchens were not in so I could use them. Other than those things, it was ok. But this was my least favorite stay here.

Even though the rain didn’t stop there was still plenty for our family to do. The pool and activity building were are main hang out. The staff was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. It looks like it would be even more fun in the summer.

The only negative thing I have to say is the door to the cabin was really drafty and the heater in the back room doesn’t help the front room.

9 elk were seen just 2-3 sites from our RV and was a great thing to see! I do think we may have been overcharged for our propane fill as here in Spokane, it ran $22 to fill 2 tanks but ran $40 to fill the same 2 tanks there

Roads have lots of chuck holes. Sites need to be raked of branches. Stripped threads on sewer connection. Uneven ground at campsite. Water tap leaked.

We have stayed at several KOA journeys, holidays and resorts, and Astoria is the nicest one. Easy access to restrooms and recreational facilities, friendly staff, good location, quiet, clean...all the things we could ask for!

Great stay&employees, great communication. Suggestions: we stayed in smallest cabin:curtains leave gaps when closed - get curtains that close out light all the way across as well as block out light when looking from below,when laying down on bed you can C the sky. + a table. Bigger&clearer, lighter street signs-we arrived on a rainy night and it took us many failed attempts to find cabin. 24hr ice

We arrived after dark and in the rain just after 6:00p.m. The office receptionist had waited for us and was helpful directing us to a site near one of the facilities buildings. The site was easily backed into. I didn't hookup because of the heavy rain & dark. The washroom and showers were clean and the water temperature was fine. My only concern was the room temperature which was quite cool.

Everything was superior, except our cabin mattress! We will bring an air mattress next time! Also, one note, the whirlpool spa had so much chlorine in it on Sunday morning that it made my eyes water! but, we were very impressed with the overall experience, and plan to come back! Thank you!

A lot of amenities, so great if you have kids or use them. I basically parked in the wrong area so was a pathway for others. It is a shame there is little respect for others or the inability to follow rules. Way too many unleashed and barking dogs and unsupervised children here. Not my cup of tea. Staff was very friendly and helpful but have their hands full.

It was my fault that I occupied a site in the open area where there was loud into the late night hillbilly music. Next time I will retreat to the wooded area again. The staff was superb. Thank you.

First time staying at a KOA and certainly not the last! The campgrounds are super clean, staff is very friendly, and there are tons of amenities that my family enjoyed including the jumping pillow, mini golf, and game room. We loved being so close to Fort Stevens park. I'll choose this campground over a hotel any time we're coming to the coast.

There is so much to do on site that the kids never wanted to leave! When elementary age kids say it was the best spring break ever and they can't wait to come back, you know it's great! Wether you stay in a cabin or your own tent or RV, you will not regret picking this KOA for your time away from home. Not only is there so many fun activities on site, there is quick and easy access to Fort Stevens State park walking or biking trails, historical sites, and of course beach and coastal walks you just can't beat! Highly recommend checking this one out of you haven't already!!

There was nothing about this experience we did not love. The park is beautiful and so clean. The activities offered to children are amazing. After this experience other campgrounds will pale in comparison. Will definitely be back with grands!

Got a cabin for four and it was perfect. It came with linens/blankets for the bed and bunks, as well as plenty of towels. The fire pit right outside was perfect and loved all the dog areas throughout the grounds. Kids had an amazing time in the indoor pool. Can't wait to come back and explore some more!
