Jim was very rude. We asked if we could park our car in the site next to us since it was off season because we were afraid that the fire pit was clot close to our car. There was also no room for chairs around the fire. He immediately said “no, and that there have been no complaints about our cabin and people with more expensive cars then ours had fires and were fine.” He then drive away.

We had another Great long Holiday w/e at Allentown, PA KOA. As always the property was well maintained and their friendly staff was at their best. Thank you all, especially Scott, Teresa, Brian, and Jim. See you all again soon. Radar and Roe S.I., N.Y.

We stayed in Allentown because Jonestown/Hershey had no open inns due to an RV show I the area, Allentown is a very nice KOA however I was very disappointed with the water pressure. There was none when I went to take my shower. Just a dribble. When I went to do my dishes same thing. Just a dribble. That is unacceptable. It was also difficult to almost impossible to use the cable on TV.

We had a relaxing weekend sitting by the stream. The staff were very friendly and the campground is clean.

Nice campground, although spots are very small and offer little privacy as they face each other on a tiny spot. Staff is very friendly and campground is very quiet and clean. Have stayed many times and will again in the future. Side point, Free WiFi is very slow during the day. But not a big deal.

Felt very cramped I can almost see inside the cabin that I was next to. And it was very close to all the other trailers the roads are very narrow

The staff was welcoming and cheerful! If I could rate it on just them, it would be a higher rating. Sadly, we thought the sites were way too close for comfort. There was a few pieces of small trash left on our site. and sites faced others.While the restroom was clean, it felt like a dungeon. It definitely needs upgrading and a better location. We had to go down steps since it was under the office.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are in the process of rebuilding our other bathroom, which has more spacious showers. The bathroom will be completed in a few weeks.

My wife and I booked a tent site here at the KOA in Allentown. The place was beautiful and clean. Only negative comment about our stay is that children ran through our tent site, not a fan of that. Parents need to control their kids and know camp etiquette. But definitely recommend anyone to stay here and we would stay again. Next time I will speak with staff if that happens again.

The park itself is nice, lots of tree coverage, pretty creek with fish & a playground for kids. The site we were at, the bathrooms right behind us were being worked on & the crew seemed to be intoxicated in the evening when we arrived, had a loud argument amongst one another & were using the golf carts while in this state. Did not make our family with two small children feel safe.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I'm not sure what this is about. The crew working on the bathhouse does not drink on the job and does not have access to golf carts. Anyway, if there are disturbing things going on around you, please tell us, so we can remediate the problem.

We weren’t able to choose our own pull through site and were assigned a site that was too short for our camper. Our truck that pulled our camper could t adequately fit on the same site. Our site was also a buddy site so the people beside us couldn’t use their fire pit and neither could we because the space was too narrow and our vehicles too close to the fire pits. We stayed 5 days.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The fire pits are all at least 10 feet away from the parking areas, so I'm not sure why you felt you could not have a fire. People do it all the time. Anyway, if you tell us about the problem while you are here we can usually find a solution for you.

Wifi was very sketchy 2 of the shower stalls didn't have heads on them

Someone stole the shower head from one of the shower stalls, which we replaced as soon as we found out about it. If you see something wrong, please tell someone so we cank solve the problem.

Camp seems to be in a totally dead area for cell service and the camp internet was inadequate. No TV reception. Only one relatively small bathroom. We left a day early.

Sites are tight and jammed in. It’s dark and damp, even on a nice day. Lots of dirt/mud, very little grass for dogs. No lighting for night/early morning walks with dogs. Would not stay here again.

Staff was very polite and camper ground was well maintained. Only problem was our site (76) was too short for our 34’ long camper. Asked to be moved but no sites available with full hook up. Pool needs some TLC. and need more bathrooms/showers

Our spot was very tight and super undeveloped. There wasn’t enough gravel, so it was muddy all around our spot. We stayed at many KOA’s, including journeys. There were no car passes, no security getting in and out of the campground. This is not one I would recommend.

We had a wonderful time. Loved the amenities and felt well taken care of by the staff. Only complaints are that a MPH sign is needed for fast-driving golf carts. 5-10 MPH max should be enforced for safety. Also very strong smell of marajuana near our site was off putting, especially for our kids.

The camp ground was very clean. Big pool. Nice sized store and game room. Only 1 bathroom for the whole campground. Unfortunately You have to share the table/ fire ring area with your neighbor in the pull thru sites. It wasn't very private. The camp ground itself was very nice and shaded with a 9 hole mini golf course- no charge. That was nice.

We had a wonderful stay at Allentown KOA Journey. The staff was awesome—friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. The campground had a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere that made it the perfect place to unwind after a travel day. We highly recommend it and would gladly stay again!

This is a quiet little campground along a creek. There were more tent camping sites than we have ever seen. Only 1 set of bathrooms was operational, but lucky for us, just a short walk from our campsite. Be advised that depending on where your GPS has you exit from I-78, you may find yourself driving along a narrow winding road to reach Narris Road. We were happy to have a Class B that dark night.

2026.09: Off the beaten path, quiet, well maintained, and friendly/helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay at Allentown KOA. Lots of room to walk your furry friends or just go for a walk/run since this location is tucked back a beautiful wooded lane. Laundry facilities were clean and took quarters (a couple KOA's we've been to have their machines hooked up to an app you have to download to use and add money to...ughhhh). Would definitely stay here again.

Nice family run camp site. However many spots are very close and face each other. Very little privacy. Also the Free Wi Fi can be very spotty at times. Overall a nice place. Have stayed several times and will again.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a tent site that was well kept with level ground and a dedicated tent pad. Bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. Would definately visit again.
