We love staying at the KOA Allentown. We stay for a week every year creekside and it’s always peaceful. Great amenities like the pool, dog park, golfing, and arcade. It’s clean and staff is friendly.

I've been going every summer, sometimes twice in one summer since 2021. Total of 7 times I love it here I never wanna leave. Such a peaceful place. My home away from home.

This is a small, older campground. It’s well maintained. The only reason I gave it a low rating is the price. Our site was a $30 site that we paid almost $90 for. I won’t be doing it again.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

You must be thinking about another campground. You paid $54 per night for your site. I challenge you to find a lower price at any campground with comparable amenities.

Just stayed for a night while traveling the KOA is very clean and well maintained. A smaller campground but was able to get our 45’ toy hauler in and out with no problems. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Jim and Teresa went above and beyond during a scary situation with our dogs due to the heat. Sooo much appreciated their compassion and help.

I was pleasantly surprised how clean everything was! The owners did a fantastic job running the camp ground and were always very friendly and helpful. I was surprised how mellow and quiet the camp was at night. This is definitely a fantastic place to take the kids, but I wouldn't suggest it for a trip with other adults due to how early everyone turns in.

As always, such a pleasant time here. The cabin was nice and clean, and so was the rest of the campground. Very well kept. The staff is very friendly, especially our new little friend Willow, who was very friendly when we were checking in. Thanks KOA!

It is small. Nice that it is next to the river. Barely fit our 25ft camper. It was right on a corner so our truck had to take a lot of our room. The wood we bought from the campground was green and hard to burn. No room in the bathhouse we used. Only 3 toilets and 3 very small showers. It has a very small playground for kids to play on.

Stayed for four nights and had significant rain most every day. Due to the lack of gravel at the site and around most of the sites, there was significant amounts of mud at our site. More gravel is needed at the sites and on the roads to account for rain. Also, the signs indicating no alcohol was a big surprise, mention of this policy should be noted on the reservation page.

Animal lovers do NOT stay here! Jim, the owner, traps DOMESTICATED stray cats & per his own words to me, "DUMPS THEM in the woods up the road!" They = coyote food! �� There's a local SPCA one of his employees told me they could call instead, but choose NOT to. They could also be a part of TNR (trap, neuter, release) but choose not to. Very short stay….2 nights with very little use of the campground other than to sleep. Sites were very close together with shared common areas. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

I stopped in for one night during my roadtrip to Virginia as a half way point. We arrived past closing hours in the dark, but someone still directed us to our site and helped us back the camper in our site etc. The next morning we got to see the campground more thoroughly my kids enjoyed the creek that ran behind our site and the simplistic woodsy camping feel. We all decided we want to stay again

We stay here every year, up from Florida. We stay at a lot of campgrounds and this is one on the nicest!

The staff was very friendly and the campground very clean. The only downside is the lack of things to do. The creek does not appear to be fishable due to how shallow it is which is the main reason we booked there. We did not have a Bad experience and its a beautiful property. We would have just liked for there to be more things to do.

KOA was amazing for booking, questions, and accommodations. I am a girl scout leader that took a group of 9 and 10 years old on their first tent camping trip. It rained almost the whole time and it was cooler one of the nights. Nevertheless, we had a blast. Thanks for your cleanliness, your friendliness, and your devotion to affordable and healthy fun!

Only stayed one night. Had some loud teens next to us and told the front desk. Gave us the owners number to call if they were loud after 10 knowing the campground does not have signal for phone calls. It was muddy and yucky, not the KOA’s fault. Overall a pretty good one night stay.

We have been staying at this KOA for many years now. The owners keep this campground in great condition and repair. This is a great place to relax, with very friendly & very competent staff. Not a place if you want to go camping. You are not allowed to sit by a campfire at night. They will come and tell you to go to bed by 10pm if not they will kick you out the next morning. Make up stories about how you were disruptive and trashing your campsite. Then you ask around and no other complained so they say your kids were screaming when they were in bed at the time. STAY AWAY!!!

Disrespected and humiliated is how I describe my experience. We were told to leave one night early due to “noise complaints” and if we didn’t the police were going to be called with arrogance and disrespectful tone/attitude.We can sit by the fire at night and talk in a low voice just like all the other camp sites. 2026.09: Off the beaten path, quiet, well maintained, and friendly/helpful staff. We enjoyed our stay at Allentown KOA. Lots of room to walk your furry friends or just go for a walk/run since this location is tucked back a beautiful wooded lane. Laundry facilities were clean and took quarters (a couple KOA's we've been to have their machines hooked up to an app you have to download to use and add money to...ughhhh). Would definitely stay here again.

Nice family run camp site. However many spots are very close and face each other. Very little privacy. Also the Free Wi Fi can be very spotty at times. Overall a nice place. Have stayed several times and will again.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a tent site that was well kept with level ground and a dedicated tent pad. Bathrooms were very clean and well stocked. Would definately visit again.
