The staff was beyond friendly and you got true feels for how much they love what they do. They had activities planned through the weekend and our kids enjoyed all of them (ice cream, rockets, baby goats, pancakes) as well as the campground amenities (pedal carts, playground, swimming, etc). It was safe, friendly and had all we needed.

The staff was very nice and very understanding about my check out time! I am a solo camper and I was sick during my whole stay! It took me almost 5 hours to break camp!

We were tent camping (sadly due to winds we had to car camp) but Jo was quick to check on us and made sure our stay was great. Showers were clean and the site clear! Will be staying again!

We needed to get away! Thanks for providing that! The off season quietness, the friendliness of Deb, Lee, Dale and Jo was a warm welcome on these brisk days! The tent site was level and tidy! We enjoyed the night sky viewing platform (wish fellow campers had turned off their exterior lights) Hope to see you sometime when the river is running!

Nice shady area for out tent. The only thing was that our tent was the first in a row next to a cabin that filled up with teenagers that were loud.

Garth greeted me as I drove up & checked me in, then escorted me to my tent site! He informed me with a flyer about the Hunt Bros Pizza that they cook up (reasonable $), so I took them up on it for the night 1. Heather delivered it to me! The other gal (sorry, I forgot her name) that winters in FL checked me in for night 2 informed me all about the Dunes, Zapata Falls & other sights in the area!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Campground and campsite were both good. Restrooms and showers were clean. My only complaint (very minor) was with the Wi-Fi. While present, it did not work very well. When using from a mobile device you had to connect then open a browser and accept the terms. When connecting a TV, it would not work. No way to get to the second screen and accept terms.

Shady nice tend place with shelter by wooden side walls. Friendly staff (as always at KOAs) and a fantastic pizza service. About 30 miles distance from the Great sand dune national park and about 3 miles from the nice Alamosa.

We loved staying at the KOA in Alamosa! The couple that is managing it is great. They were very welcoming and accommodating. We (2 girls travelling by themselves) felt safe and had the best time.

Great and cheerful crew! Clean bathrooms! Excellent breakfast- it was great not to have to cook on my propane stove. Reminded me of how the KOAs used to be back in the 80's. Well kept up!

We loved our sites and all amenities. We used the pool, the stargazing deck, free coffee, and rented sand boards. Everyone in our group was impressed.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the bathrooms were incredibly clean. The on-site pizza was delicious, my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Stayed in camping spots in open field by pool. Lights from buildings are inconvenient but otherwise it was great. Pizza and other food options can be purchased and delivered to site. Weekends have special food options. pool closes at 7:30 on weekdays(not sure about weekends) Have to pay to use pedal cars. Coffee is free at this location. Great playground. Lovely hosts.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom could use an upgrade. The showerhead is too low. I had to squat to wash my hair (I'm 5'5 feet tall). Very dated appearance with visible signs of mildew and no good place to put soap / shampoo. I heard road noise throughout the night and my neighbors decided to create a smoke plume, which was disruptive. Wish fires were prohibited

For day1 I booked the electrical tent site and got primitive site T8 (Beware of mosquitoes). 2nd day I booked an RV site+tent and they moved me to same T8. When asked I got RV site #9 with electricity (no 20 amp) and no table, no shade. I used common table for my food. My KOA experience was not 5 star. KOA Alamosa is overall good and staff is friendly. I might not stay here again. Thank you.

This KAO is wonderful! The friendliest staff we have ever had. Very clean, had the sand sleds on site and took time to walk us through everything.

We stayed in a tent site. It was fantastic. The sites are on grass and have deep fire pit holes to build a fire in. There was plenty of shade during the day as well. The pool was fantastic and my little loved the playground. Their fudge in the shop was amazing as well. Not a huge issue but be aware the dishwashing station had only cold water. Which made it hard to clean off bacon grease.

Alamosa KOA is awesome place to camp with kids and family. Swimming pool is the key thing I liked because our kids played a lot in the pool. I would definitely book this KOA again.

First the staff. They were so kind and so helpful, we had some not great temps the first two nights and a burn ban due to dryness. They offered us the propane heater and we rented it but the van got lifted and they came out and let us return it free of charge. Amazingly kind, they didn’t have to do that. The place was spotless. I wish the bathrooms closet to my sight weren't closed but I understand because it is the off-season. It just sucked walking further in the cold

Der Camping wird mit viel Liebe und Arbeit geführt und bietet sehr viele extras gegenüber anderen Campingplätzen. Das einzige was etwas verbessert werden könnte ist die Anzahl der WC und Duschen.

We always have a great time at this KOA! Its location is ideal, they serve breakfast, pizza for dinner, have a great gift shop, and a new coffee shop. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We come here once a year and enjoy our stay every time!
