Good hookups. Quiet. Showers are outdated but clean. Never saw a staff member even though we arrived at 3pm on a Tuesday.

(Oct 2026) This quick getaway was like coming home! The Kabin was cozy with its space heater, new windows, and pretty curtains! The porch swing was soothing and the mini fridge kept our food super cold! There was a microwave and sink available in the laundry room! As always, Jo, Dale, and Les were so friendly, attentive and helpful!! We even had a campfire! Definitely a 5 star stay for us!

I stayed at Alamosa KOA for a quick layover and was very happy with my stay… Check in was very pleasant and quick, campground was very clean … added bonus was the onsight pizza kitchen… it was nice to take a break from cooking dinner and the pizza was delivered right to my campsite.. pizza was very good.. I would definitely stay at Alamosa KOA again..

We loved this KOA because of the open spaces. The friendly staff, they even had a coffee shop with all kinds of lattes and regular coffee. The pizza was great. The bathroom areas were clean and spotless. This location is very close to the great Sand dunes national Park. I highly recommend this location.

Overall, no large pros or cons. Only here one night, but not major complaints. Showers were hot and bathrooms decent. Not too muddy or gross when wet. A little playground for the kids, pool if open, and the go karts. It was wet and cold (storm) when we were there for just one night. Didn't get to try out too many things. Great location.

Could not have been more perfect of a stay. The owners were friendly and helpful. Cain was warm and clean. Exceptional place to stay.

Host was very nice. Also, very helpful in making recommendations for activities. Park was clean and also, the wash area was spotless. Not often you can say that about the washer/dryer area, but this one set the standard.

The staff are an absolute delight. They genuinely care about making your experience the best it can be and it felt very homey and inviting. My family felt like we were welcomed in to someone’s special getaway as opposed to simply visiting some random destination. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience, highly recommend!!

This is how all KOA Campgrounds should be run. Very professional staff and the campground was neat and clean like they should be. We will definitely recommend it to friends, family and others that we talk with during our travels.

The stay was wonderful! The 2 employees working the office when we checked in were amazing! They even drove out to our site, which i havent experienced that at all KOAs. They delivered wood and right after they delivered a big rainstorm came through. We didnt have time to grab it to keep it dry, they delivered us more. TP was out and they immediately replaced it. Great stay!!!

Very friendly hosts. I ordered a pizza and they delivered it to our camping spot 20 minutes later. It was a delicious (Hunt's) pizza. We would definitely recommend this place and would stay again.

We’re just passing thru on our way home. Tires to make reservations online but it was late so had to call and actually got to talk to someone AT that campground, Myra, and not some foreign person with some third party service. The process was very smooth! The staff was very friendly and the campground very well maintained and bathrooms were VERY clean!!

We stayed in the luxury camper cabin for two nights. It was very clean and comfortable. We had all the amenities needed for two nights. The Adirondack chairs and fire pit were awesome. Check in and check out were very easy. Would recommend this KOA.

Lovely stay. Sites are level, hookups all worked great. Staff were helpful and very sweet. They have one of the biggest dog parks I’ve ever seen and even supply a bucket of balls. Laundry facilities were great-dryers dried clothes on first go which is always a plus. Close to the National Park.

We were greeted cheerfully by Garth. He escorted us to our spot. Sue was also extremely friendly and helpful providing us with information about things to see and do. They were very accommodating in the event that we needed to extend our stay. We greatly appreciated their warmth and hospitality. Thank you !

We stayed two nights at this campground. It was easy to access Great Sand Dunes. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The sites were long & flat. The weather was a bit rainy, so it was hard to comment on the views, although we did have some during the sunny hours. They also have a restaurant and offer delivery directly to your site.

Great park, our pull through was level the hosts were friendly and lots to do here at the park. The Coffee Cabin had coffees or chai tea to buy along with delicious home made cinnamon rolls. This was also the first park where our dog didn’t get burs in his feet

The facilities were clean and well taken care of. And the staff were great. We took advantage of getting dinner there and the food was delish, especially the baked potato!

We stayed for one night on our way back home. Staff was super helpful and friendly and our site was nice and level so we did not have to unhitch for the night. They even will pick up your trash for you and there is a coffee cabin on site that does lattes and such. There is some road noise from the sites closer to the front of the park but at night it did not bother us.

Wonderful stay! Park was beautifully maintained. Was greeted as soon as we pulled in by a friendly guy in a cart (handyman?) who took us right to our site. The perfect respite after 4 rainy nights in the Sand Dunes. We will be back! Many Thanks!

The campsite is well-kept. We stayed in K-1 cabin with no bathroom but it was only 1 minute walk to the bathroom with shower. We can cook outside. The rim is very primitive so you need blankets and pillows. There are only 2 outlets in the room. The most expensive coffee I ever paid here in KOA $12 and $18 for each iced salted caramel w/3 shot of espresso.

I brought an international guest and my two dogs and we stayed in one of the cabins. The cabin was perfect, the bathrooms clean, the pizza made on site was excellent, and it was close to Alamosa and the Great Sand Dunes! We all LOVED IT! Thanks and for sure I will be back! Karen G

(Oct 2026) This KOA is awesome! They are very attentive to campers needs. They keep you informed about important activities or needs. Les and Deb (owners), Jo and Dale (managers) are do an amazing job - constantly working on up-keep, and new additions to engage campers. I love that our Kabin had new windows with pretty curtains (not a fan of mini blinds), a space heater, a mini fridge, and a porch swing! It really felt like coming home! I will return!

It was wet and cold for the one night we were there and it wasn't too muddy or gross. A little playground for the kids, pool if open, and the go karts. Bathrooms clean and nice quality. Hot showers. Overall, no terrible pros or cons. It was only one night we were there.
