The site was very well laid out and well maintained. It was clear the owners wanted us to have a great stay and we did! The staff was first-rate. Highly recommend.

Love the addition of the coffee bar!

People were great! Wouldn't hurt to dig up the weeds in the camper sites before they take over, not just mow them. Everything was clean, bathrooms impressively clean. Wi-Fi was weak. Would really have appreciated a stronger system. If you could get on, it kept dropping off. This campground is great for families with kids.

This was between a hotel and a campground. All the facilities (and there are many) were always clean. They had a coffee bar, provided pizza and a few other hot food options, showers (non-coin which was a first) as well as showing you to your campsite. That is just the portions we used. There is far more thing to do and that they provide. Every worker was helpful and nice.

Jo & her team were amazing! Jo's guidance gave me total confidence for our Girl Scout family trip. Check-in was great with a personal map tour. The bathrooms/showers were very clean, and our site easily fit 5 tents. Best of all, the location has incredible dark skies and an awesome star-viewing platform. We loved it and will definitely be back!

We were on our way to the Grand Lake KOA and lost our transmission in our truck. The folks at the Alamosa KOA got us in at the last minute and were very helpful.

OMG I can’t say enough good things about this KOA campground. JO at the front desk was amazing. She is super knowledgeable, and friendly. Heather at the front desk is also super friendly and always willing to talk. Les the owner was very nice and makes a great white chocolate mocha coffee. Garth who does outside stuff and repairs is and was very helpful. Then there is Kaidence super friendly.

The staff throughout our stay were very kind. Love the addition of the coffee hut. Kids loved the playground. They were looking forward to the pool, but we were a week too early for that.

Hosts and staff were very nice and helpful, appreciated the text updates about activities. Bathrooms were clean. Pool was nice (though not warm). It would be nice if they'd provide a bench, stump or chairs at the tent sites for the fire ring. The cabins have more than they seemingly needed, but all we had was the picnic table.

We've stayed here many times. Campground is clean, the food is very good, especially the Sunday pancakes, and the management (Jo) is great! Better wi-fi could be an improvement.

Nice people working there. The only problem was that the bathrooms and showers were dated. They informed us of low water pressure and fixed it very quickly.

Fantastic time at your place. We had great experience with all people and had trouble with our RV you recommended a mobile RV service which was very helpful. He knew exactly what went wrong with the RV battery. Pizza was delicious .

We love getting the cabin at KOA. Staff were helpful and friendly. It was the first time we visited the Sand Dunes and they could provide sand boards if we needed to. The bathrooms were cleaned and trash picked up daily. They also had a shop, a cafe to go for breakfast or coffee ☕. Weekends they have all you- can-eat pancakes 🥞. We would return again.

25 minutes from the Sand Dunes and a great place for RVs or tent campers. We stayed with a bunch of teen Girl Scouts at 2 adjacent tent sites. Tent sites are across the road from the RVs and next to the cabins. If you need more than 1 site, call the office so they put you in the right ones that are adjacent. You could definitely fit 2 tents on the site. Hosts/staff are very friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean with flush toilets, plugs, and showers. There is one bathroom (no shower) close to the tent site, and showers at the main office. They have wi-fi but connection is spotty at best - try connecting near the office. Cell service is also spotty. The pool was clean - but not heated despite what they told us. Felt good on a hot day though! Peddle carts looked interesting. There's also cornhole, basketball, a nice playground and more for kids. The shop had a nice selection of snacks and gifts - you can charge it to your account which is nice. They have a cafe, but we didn't eat there. 20 minutes to Zapata Falls, 25 minutes to Sand Dunes, 15 minutes to town. It's a pretty quiet site, though it's next to the main road and the neighborhood so you may hear some traffic.
