It was quiet and very comfortable. They had comfort food so you wouldn’t have to go out.

This KOA did not meet my expectations and was very disappointing. The “heated” pool was still very cold and too small it could use an upgrade. The playground, basketball hoops, and carts were all old, the place looked like it hasn’t had any upgrades since it was built. Also the extra charge for the activities was not cool. No pavement for kids to ride scooters or bikes only dirt and rocks.

Very clean well kept camp. Lots of activities for families and kids. Pancake breakfast on Sundays. Friendly staff and available for questions or needs. Very quiet. We will stay again!!!

The park is very clean and sites are generous. We spent time seeing the nearby attractions and had a great time. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will come back another time. Good Job!

This was our home base while we explored the National Park. We had a patio site which was huge, flat, and had good satellite exposure. The people in the office were great and it looks like a good place to bring kids. Our only negative observation is that the landscape is very weedy, some with stickers which are not good for our pups.

Stayed 5/31-6/2; site 53. The campground was fine and the staff was very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed the pancake breakfast on Sunday; wish more campgrounds would offer this. However, on our specific site, if the morning sun is shining, the reflection from the solar panels to our rig was blinding. You might want do something about this. Otherwise, all good.

Always a great time at this KOA. Owners are fantastic and do their absolute best to make our stay amazing. Our kids play for HOURS on the playground. It’s quiet and the star gazing at night is beautiful. Close proximity to the sand dunes and other fun things in the area. You won’t regret your stay at the alamosa KOA!!

A clean, well-kept facility close to Great Sand Dunes National Park. This was a busy park during our stay, but the staff stayed on top of it all, with smiles on their faces the entire time. Everything; laundry, showers, hookups, etc., worked well, and the gift shop is nicely stocked (they have fudge!). Pizza and firewood are delivered to your site, which is a welcome perk. We will stay here again!

This KOA is well staffed with friendly, competent folks. We had some problems and they were so helpful. All the facilities are top notch. If you have kids, this KOA is one step below a theme park!!

Very nice people site was nice. But turning into park we were almost killed by a truck. It is a narrow 2 lane road with no turn lane to make left hand turn into park. As we were waiting to turn a truck came up from behind us and did not slow up. He whipped around us and barely made it safely past us. Too scary. I know it’s probably too expensive to remedy the situation, but..

We had a great time at the Almosa KOA. The staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the ice cream social and playing with baby goats. Great experience and we’d definitely go back.

Showers, bathrooms and laundry were super clean and the kids around us seemed to be having a great time! A Mountain View campsite with no shade and the electric hook-up on the east made it difficult to sit outside in the afternoon. Next time I’ll request a different site with shade or the electric hook-up on the west side.

First time campers here so had zero expectations. Clean, great line up of activities, and loads of outdoor games kept my 2 older boys (12&14) happy. Our self imposed screen free time meant for family fun as it was when I was a kid. And the boys are asking to camp again soon. We all loved it!

Der Camping wird mit viel Liebe und Arbeit geführt und bietet sehr viele extras gegenüber anderen Campingplätzen. Das einzige was etwas verbessert werden könnte ist die Anzahl der WC und Duschen.

We always have a great time at this KOA! Its location is ideal, they serve breakfast, pizza for dinner, have a great gift shop, and a new coffee shop. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We come here once a year and enjoy our stay every time!
